Lopez is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta.

The Marlins are resting several everyday players during Sunday's regular-season finale. Assuming he doesn't appear off the bench Sunday, Lopez will finish his excellent 2026 campaign having slashed .305/.349/.437 with 11 home runs and 34 stolen bases. Javier Sanoja is handling shortstop for the Marlins on Sunday.

Ortiz (knee) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Ortiz is banged up, primarily nursing a knee injury in addition to abdominal and groin issues. He'll sit out Sunday's finale in hopes that he'll be as close to 100 percent as possible for the NLDS. David Hamilton will handle third base for the Brewers on Sunday.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy said after Saturday's game that the MRI results on Ortiz's knee were "good" overall, Hunter Baumgardt of Fox Sports 920 Milwaukee reports. However, Ortiz likely won't play Sunday against the Cardinals.

While Ortiz avoided a major injury to his knee, he's also been dealing with abdominal and groin issues, including abdominal swelling. It sounds like Milwaukee will exercise caution and hold Ortiz out of the regular-season finale to ensure his availability for the start of the playoffs. David Hamilton figures to make another start at the hot corner in Ortiz's absence.

Tovar went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Saturday against the White Sox.

Tovar blasted his 13th home run of the season in the fourth inning of Saturday's win. It has been a disappointing season overall, but he has managed to end the campaign in relatively strong form with a .302 average, three homers and 13 runs scored across 19 games in September.

Crawford went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Angels.

Crawford homered as part of a four-run seventh inning for the Mariners. The shortstop has gone deep four times over his last 12 games, adding seven RBI in that span. For the season, he has 14 long balls, two more than last year despite being limited to 115 contests. Crawford has batted just .220 with a .687 OPS, 40 RBI, 54 runs scored, 12 doubles and a stolen base this year.

Pena went 4-for-4 with two home runs, four RBI and four runs scored in Saturday's 13-2 win over the Athletics.

Pena went deep in the third and eighth innings. The shortstop had gone just 4-for-27 (.148) over his previous seven games, adding three stolen bases in that span. Despite playing in a career-low 111 games so far, Pena has matched his career-best homer total (22) from his rookie year in 2022. He's batting .276 with an .802 OPS, 55 RBI, 81 runs scored, 19 doubles, two triples and 12 stolen bases in 2026.

Bogaerts went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two walks in Saturday's 10-7 win over the Diamondbacks.

Bogaerts has displayed more consistency at the plate in September, going 23-for-73 (.315) over 22 games. However, he's supplied just six RBI and seven extra-base hits this month. Overall, Bogaerts is batting .231 with a .676 OPS, 13 homers, 57 RBI, 68 runs scored, 18 doubles, one triple and 22 stolen bases over 153 contests this season.

Witt went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 11-5 loss to the Guardians.

Witt stole second base and came around to score in the first inning before scoring another run in the eighth. The superstar has hit safely in each of his past eight contests, swiping three bags and crossing the plate 10 times in that span. For the year, he's slashing .283/.361/.444 with 18 homers, 54 RBI, 94 runs scored and 45 steals across 628 plate appearances.

Rocchio went 3-for-4 with two home runs, a double, two RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 11-5 win over the Royals.

Rocchio launched a solo shot in the seventh inning before going deep again in the ninth. It marked the second time the 25-year-old homered twice in a game in September, and he's now driven in 19 runs while scoring 15 times over 22 games this month. On the year, he's slashing .253/.313/.391 with 15 long balls, 73 RBI, 66 runs scored and 20 steals across 592 plate appearances.

Williams (upper body) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Astros.

Williams will miss a third consecutive game Saturday as he continues to battle upper-body soreness, and there's a chance the A's -- with nothing to play for -- take a cautious approach and sit him during Sunday's season finale as well. Donovan Walton will get the nod at shortstop Saturday, moving Jeff McNeil to second base and allowing Tommy White to start at first.
