Cecconi (arm) underwent an MRI that confirmed no structural damage, MLB.com reports.

That's good news for the Cecconi, who felt an issue during a relief appearance Aug. 6. The right-hander is expected to resume throwing in the coming days.

Rodriguez did not factor into the decision in Friday's 7-6 loss to the Royals, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks with five strikeouts over four innings.

Rodriguez allowed runs in the second and third innings, throwing just 53 of 89 pitches for strikes with 12 whiffs. Despite exceeding 80 pitches for the sixth straight start, it marked the fourth time he lasted just four innings in seven outings since returning from the injured list July 10. The 26-year-old owns a 7.17 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 55:28 K:BB across 59 innings this season and lines up for a road matchup with the Astros next week.

Lugo did not factor into the decision in Friday's 7-6 win over the Angels, allowing five runs on seven hits and no walks with four strikeouts over 4.2 innings.

Lugo was mostly undone by a four-run third inning and departed after 86 pitches in the fifth after allowing a game-tying single with two outs. It's been an uneven second half for the veteran, who's posted four quality starts in six outings while also succumbing to two five-run blowups. He owns a 4.59 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 108:46 K:BB across 139.1 innings this season and lines up to face the Athletics at home next week.

Lambert did not factor into the decision in Friday's 10-7 extra-inning win over the Mariners, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks with six strikeouts over five innings.

Lambert allowed two runs in the first inning but settled in from there, generating 12 swinging strikes on 96 pitches while limiting the Mariners to just two hard-hit balls. The 29-year-old is now winless in six starts since the All-Star break despite yielding two earned runs or fewer and completing at least five innings in each of those outings. He'll carry a 3.11 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 117:46 K:BB across 118.2 innings this season into a home matchup with the Angels next week.

Kirby did not factor into the decision in Friday's 10-7 extra-inning loss to the Astros, allowing five runs on eight hits and three walks with two strikeouts over 4.2 innings.

The damage was done early, as Kirby surrendered a solo homer in the first before enduring a four-run second inning. He labored overall, issuing three walks for just the third time this season while generating only seven whiffs on 99 pitches. The 28-year-old has now posted a 4.39 ERA through five second-half outings, though 12 of the 13 runs he's allowed have come in two blow-up starts. He'll take a 3.89 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 114:31 K:BB across 136.2 innings this season into a road matchup with the Brewers next week.

Rocker allowed three runs on four hits, five walks and a hit batsman while striking out three over five innings in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Friday.

Rocker threw just 47 of 94 pitches for strikes while setting a new season high in walks. He's giving up too many baserunners in August -- he's allowed 21 hits and nine walks over 13.1 innings over his last three outings, leading to 12 runs. Rocker is now at a 4.50 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 106:47 K:BB through 116 innings over 23 games (21 starts). He is projected to make his next start at home versus the Nationals, which is a matchup fantasy managers will likely want to avoid.

Bassitt did not factor into the decision Friday against the Rays, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out three across 5.1 innings.

Bassitt was cleared to return to the big leagues following a two-plus month rehab from surgery to remove bone spurs from his back. He built up his pitch count to 88 (53 strokes) and induced seven groundouts, though he generated only two whiffs. Bassitt now sits at a 5.11 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 40:25 K:BB over 61.2 innings this season. He's lined up to take on the Yankees at home next week.

Jump allowed three runs on three hits and four walks while striking out one over 5.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Rangers on Friday.

Jump kept the Rangers off the board through five innings, but he ran into trouble in the sixth. Jake Burger ended Jump's outing with a one-out, three-run home run. With just a single strikeout Friday, Jump matched his season low. He's now at a 4.50 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 85:37 K:BB through 78 innings over 15 starts this season. The rookie southpaw is projected to make his next start at Kansas City.

Williams (11-7) allowed five runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out five over 4.1 innings in Friday's 7-5 loss to San Diego.

Williams was handed a 3-0 lead after the first three innings but couldn't protect it. The right-hander surrendered a two-run homer to Xander Bogaerts in the fourth before Fernando Tatis took him deep to open the fifth, and he was ultimately removed following a two-run double from Luis Campusano. The rough outing extended Williams' stretch of non-quality starts to three outings while pushing his ERA from 3.55 to 3.74. He's scheduled to make his next start at home against the Giants.

Jobe (1-1) took the loss against the Tigers on Friday, allowing six runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out four across 3.2 innings.

Jobe limited the Tigers to one run through three innings, but the floodgates were opened in the fourth, when he gave up home runs to Tristan Peters and Munetaka Murakami before yielding a two-run triple to Braden Montgomery. It was the most runs Jobe has given up since May 7 against the Rockies, but he's still shaking off the rust, as Friday's start was only his second since undergoing Tommy John surgery in June of 2025. He's lined up to face the Pirates on the road next week.
