Titans' Daniel Bellinger: Cleared to play vs. old team
Bellinger (illness) does not have an injury designation heading into Sunday's game against the Giants.
Bellinger popped up on Thursday's injury report as a DNP due to an illness. He was limited in Friday's practice, but he's been given the green light to play Sunday against the team that drafted him in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Bellinger has turned two targets into one catch for seven yards through two regular-season games while serving as the Titans' TE2 behind Gunnar Helm.

Titans' Daniel Bellinger: Sits out of practice
Bellinger (illness) did not participate in practice Thursday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
The tight end was not listed on Wednesday's injury report. Bellinger, currently the No. 2 tight end on Tennessee's depth chart, played on 14 offensive snaps in Week 1 and 24 in Week 2. If he can't go Sunday versus the Giants, David Martin-Robinson and Kylen Granson might see more snaps behind starter Gunnar Helm.

Titans' Daniel Bellinger: Catches only target in loss
Bellinger caught his sole target for seven yards in Sunday's 23-10 loss to the Jets.
Bellinger is the second option at tight end behind Gunnar Helm and profiled clearly as such in Week 1. The 25-year-old played just 14 of the Titans' 50 offensive snaps and was also only used for three special-teams snaps during the season-opening victory.

Titans' Daniel Bellinger: Facing opportunity
Bellinger is poised to enter training camp with a chance to carve out a meaningful role in the Titans' offense, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Bellinger spent the last four seasons playing under offensive coordinator Brian Daboll with the Giants, making him one of Tennessee's most familiar additions to the new offensive scheme. While 2025 fourth-rounder Gunnar Helm is expected to handle plenty of receiving work following the departure of Chig Okonkwo (now with the Commanders), Bellinger's blocking ability makes him a natural fit for the heavier personnel packages Daboll is expected to employ. That familiarity, combined with the vacancy created by Okonkwo's departure, gives the 25-year-old a legitimate chance to earn consistent snaps with the Titans.

Titans' Daniel Bellinger: Following Daboll to Tennessee
Bellinger is signing with the Titans, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports Monday.
Bellinger will be reunited with Brian Daboll, who is set to work as the offensive coordinator for the Titans after serving as the Giants' head coach from 2022 until his firing in 2025. Daboll's tenure in New York overlapped with Bellinger's four years with the Giants, during which the 2022 fourth-round pick accrued 88 catches for 934 yards and four touchdowns in 62 regular-season appearances. In Tennessee, Bellinger figures to contribute primarily as a blocker behind 2025 fourth-round pick Gunnar Helm (toe), while the status of free agent Chig Okonkwo is still up in the air.

Giants' Daniel Bellinger: Secures touchdown in win
Bellinger caught both of his targets for 38 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-17 win over the Cowboys.
Bellinger was able to reel in multiple passes for the second straight week, most notably notching a 29-yard score in the second quarter. The tight end finished his fourth year in New York having caught 19 of 26 targets for a career-high 286 yards and two scores over 16 regular-season contests. Bellinger will be a free agent this offseason, and considering that the Giants appear to have found their long-term starter in Theo Johnson (illness), Bellinger may not return to New York next year. The 25-year-old has yet to exceed 30 catches in an NFL campaign, likely limiting potential interest in him on the open market.

Giants' Daniel Bellinger: Nabs two catches in Week 17 win
Bellinger caught two of three targets for 11 yards in a 34-10 win against the Raiders on Sunday.
Bellinger got the start at tight end due to Theo Johnson (illness) having to sit out. However, with over half of QB Jaxson Dart's 207 passing yards going to wideout Wan'Dale Robinson, who put up an 11-113-0 line on 14 targets, there wasn't much wealth to spread around elsewhere against an uninspired Las Vegas secondary. Bellinger did at least manage to make a pair of receptions after coming up with zero catches in four of his previous five games, but he continues to be an afterthought in the Giants' offense. Although he's at a meager 17-248-1 receiving line through 15 games on the campaign, Bellinger could set a new career-high mark for receiving yardage in a season if he can get 21 receiving yards against Dallas in Week 18.

Giants' Daniel Bellinger: Comes up empty in Week 16
Bellinger played 22 of the Giants' 48 offensive snaps but wasn't targeted during Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Vikings.
The fourth-year tight end has now gone without a reception in four of the Giants' last five games. In 14 appearances this season, Bellinger has caught 15 of 21 targets for 237 yards and one touchdown. He's expected to remain a depth option behind Theo Johnson at tight end in the Giants' Week 17 matchup with the Raiders.

Giants' Daniel Bellinger: Nets uptick in production Week 15
Bellinger finished Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Commanders with three catches for 35 yards on four targets.
Bellinger and No. 1 tight end Theo Johnson had the same amount of targets (four) and catches (three), though Johnson more than doubled Bellinger's yardage with a team-leading 72. Coming into Sunday, Bellinger had gone three games without a reception and had combined for just two catches for 29 yards over his previous five contests. Ironically, the fourth-year tight end's increase in production against Washington came on a day when he posted his lowest offensive snap share (26 percent) since Week 3. Given his recent lack of production and clear backup role behind Johnson, Bellinger's improved stat line Sunday still doesn't put him on the fantasy radar in most formats.
