Binnington stopped all 20 shots he faced to earn a shutout in Friday's 4-0 win over the Senators. Binnington took care of business in the first half of a back-to-back and wasn't tested all that much. This was his third shutout of the season and second in his last four starts. The 31-year-old netminder is now at an 11-14-3 record with a 2.79 GAA and an .899 save percentage over 29 appearances. Joel Hofer will get the crease for Saturday's road game in Columbus, but it wouldn't be surprising to see Binnington start Tuesday in Minnesota.... See More ... See Less

Blues' Jordan Binnington: Starting Friday
Binnington will protect the home goal versus the Senators on Friday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports. Binnington has won two of his last three games, allowing six goals on 65 shots in that span. The 31-year-old had lost five straight outings before his recent turnaround. The Senators are in the second half of a back-to-back after losing 4-2 in Dallas on Thursday.... See More ... See Less -
Blues' Jordan Binnington: Wins in 300th NHL start
Binnington made 28 saves in a 6-2 win against Chicago on Tuesday in the Winter Classic outdoor game. Binnington made a beautiful right-pad save on a Taylor Hall breakaway in the second period that kept the score 3-1. And just two power-play goals got past him. It was Binnington's 300th start in the NHL and 10th win this season (10-14-3). He commemorated the Winter Classic with a mask that paid tribute to St. Louis Cardinals' greats Adam Wainwright, Yadier Molina and Albert Pujols. Class move.... See More ... See Less -
Blues' Jordan Binnington: Draws start for Winter Classic
Binnington will tend the twine on the road during Tuesday's Winter Classic against Chicago at Wrigley Field, Matthew DeFranks of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Binnington has largely struggled in December, going 2-5-1 with a 3.07 GAA and an .886 save percentage over eight outings, but he'll draw a second consecutive start Tuesday as the Blues prepare to take part in the Winter Classic. The Blackhawks are averaging just 2.51 goals per game this season, which is the third-worst mark in the league, but Binnington could have to deal with precipitation for at least parts of Tuesday's matchup.... Blues' Jordan Binnington: December struggles continue
Binnington surrendered four goals on 16 shots in Sunday's 4-2 loss to Buffalo. Binnington allowed a pair of goals apiece in the first and third periods of Sunday's defeat, two of which came on the power play. The Ontario native has been subpar through eight appearances in December, posting a 2-5-1 record while allowing 23 goals on 201 shots in that span. Overall, the 31-year-old has a 9-14-3 record, .895 save percentage and 2.93 GAA through 27 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Blues' Jordan Binnington: Starting vs. Sabres
Binnington will guard the home net Sunday against Buffalo, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports. Binnington snapped a five-game losing streak in his last start before the holiday break, turning aside 19 shots in a shutout win over the Red Wings. Overall, Binnington is 9-13-3 with an .898 save percentage and 2.88 GAA this season.... See More ... See Less -
Blues' Jordan Binnington: Blanks Wings to head into break
Binnington made 19 saves in Monday's 4-0 win over the Red Wings. He wasn't busy until the third period when Detroit fired 10 shots his way, but Binnington had little trouble coming away with his second shutout of the season. The victory snapped a five-start losing streak for the veteran netminder during which he'd gone 0-4-1 with a 3.55 GAA and an .874 save percentage, so the clean sheet sends Binnington and the Blues into the Christmas break with a little jolt of confidence.... Blues' Jordan Binnington: No wins in last five starts
Binnington allowed three goals on 11 shots Thursday before being replaced by Joel Hofer in a 3-1 loss to Tampa Bay. Binner has been in the spin cycle over the last couple weeks, going 0-4-1 in his last five starts. Overall, he's 8-13-3 with a 3.00 GAA and .896 save percentage, and the Blues are 4-4-2 in their last 10 games. Binnington could use some time on your bench until he and his team right their proverbial ship.... See More ... See Less -
Blues' Jordan Binnington: Starting against Tampa Bay
Binnington will serve as the starting goaltender for Thursday's road game against the Lightning, Lou Korac of The Hockey News reports. Binnington has been mired in a bit of a slump recently, as he's gone 0-3-1 with a 3.29 GAA and .888 save percentage over his last four starts. The 31-year-old will face an uphill battle Thursday if he hopes to end his skid, as the Lightning lead the league with 4.03 goals per game.... See More ... See Less -
Blues' Jordan Binnington: Losing streak continues
Binnington stopped 24 of 27 shots in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Devils. The fourth goal was an empty-netter. Binnington is firmly entrenched as the Blues' starting goaltender, but it's safe to say he isn't going through his most productive stretch at the moment. He's on a four-game winless skid, going 0-3-1 with a 3.29 GAA and an .888 save percentage in that span. Furthermore, he's posted a save percentage below the .900 mark three times in that stretch.... Blues' Jordan Binnington: Facing New Jersey
Binnington will tend the home twine Tuesday versus New Jersey, Lou Korac of NHL.com relays. Binnington's off to a less-than-ideal start through four appearances in December, going 1-2-1 with an .898 save percentage and a 3.23 GAA. The 31-year-old will take on a Devils team that sits seventh in the NHL with 3.33 goals per game. Binnington has a career record of 6-3-0 against New Jersey.... See More ... See Less -
Blues' Jordan Binnington: Tough loss in OT
Binnington turned aside 35 shots in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Stars. Jordan Kyrou gave St. Louis an early lead by beating Jake Oettinger just after a power play had expired midway through the first period, but Dallas dominated the rest of the game and eventually banked the win on a great individual effort by Matt Duchene in OT. Binnington has just one win in his last five starts, going 1-2-2 with a 3.19 GAA and .899 save percentage, while Joel Hofer has won his last three outings, but as yet there's been no suggestion a switch at the top of the Blues depth chart is on the horizon.... He has posted a record of 8-11-2 with one shutout, a 2.98 GAA and an .896 save percentage through 22 appearances this season. Dallas is tied for ninth in the league with 3.29 goals per game in 2024-25.... See More ... See Less -
Blues' Jordan Binnington: Loses at home Thursday
Binnington conceded four goals on 31 shots Thursday in a 4-3 loss to the Sharks. Binnington has now lost back-to-back starts, and he's allowed at least three goals in each of his last four appearances. The former Stanley Cup champion is 1-2-0 with a 3.69 GAA and an .879 GAA through three games in December. Overall on the season, the 31-year-old is sporting an 8-11-2 record, .896 save percentage and 2.98 GAA through 22 outings. Binnington's next opportunity to rebound will be on the road Saturday versus Dallas.... See More ... See Less -
Blues' Jordan Binnington: Starting against San Jose
Binnington was the first goalie off Thursday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports, indicating he'll draw the start at home against San Jose. Binnington struggled during his last start, turning aside 17 of 21 shots (.810 save percentage) in a loss to Edmonton on Saturday. However, he's had decent results overall in recent outings, posting a 3-2-1 record, 2.31 GAA and .921 save percentage across his last six appearances. The 31-year-old netminder will have a favorable opportunity to bounce back Thursday, as the Sharks have scored just 2.71 goals per game this year.... See More ... See Less -
Blues' Jordan Binnington: Falls to Oilers
Binnington surrendered four goals on 22 shots in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Oilers. A bad line change and a turnover led to the Oilers' first two goals, and they scored their third on the power play. That was too much for Binnington and the Blues to come back from, though their third-period effort was a good attempt. Inconsistency remains the theme with Binnington -- he's 4-3-1 over his last eight outings, allowing three or more goals four times in that span. He's now 8-10-2 with a 2.93 GAA and an .897 save percentage through 21 starts, numbers far too similar to his 2022-23 performance rather than his much better 2023-24. The Blues will wrap up their four-game road trip Tuesday in Vancouver.... See More ... See Less -

Binnington stopped 36 of 39 shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Flames. The Flames came back from a few deficits, but Binnington never let them get ahead. He then got the win as Colton Parayko scored in overtime to seal the win. Binnington has won four of his last eight outings, going 4-2-2 in that span. For the season, he's at an 8-9-2 record with a 2.87 GAA and a .900 save percentage over 20 appearances. The Blues' road trip continues in Edmonton on Saturday.... See More ... See Less -
