Wild's Max Shabanov: Signs one-year pact
Shabanov inked a one-year, $1.6 million contract with Minnesota on Thursday.
Shabanov played in just 44 regular-season games due to injury, recording five goals and 13 assists, including five power-play points. If the 25-year-old winger can stay healthy, he should be capable of pushing for the 40-point threshold, though he may struggle for power-play minutes given the depth of the Minnesota forward group.

Wild's Olli Maatta: Flipped in trade
Maatta and Blake Coleman were traded to the Wild from the Flames on Thursday in exchange for Jake Middleton and three draft picks, Emily Kaplan of ESPN reports.
Maatta logged 43 regular-season games for the Mammoth and Flames last year, registering two goals, 13 assists and 34 shots. With the move to Minnesota, the 31-year-old Maatta could find himself serving as a healthy scratch periodically. As such, Maatta is unlikely to offer much in the way of fantasy value.

Wild's Blake Coleman: Traded to Minnesota
Coleman and Olli Maatta were traded to the Wild from the Flames on Thursday in exchange for Jake Middleton, a 2027 third-round pick, a 2028 fourth-round pick and a 2029 second-round pick, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Coleman was a consistent contributor over his five years in Calgary, recording at least 33 points and 107 hits in each season. Across 69 regular-season appearances last year, he recorded 20 goals, 15 assists, 152 hits, 49 PIM and 48 blocked shots while averaging 17:20 of ice time. Coleman is entering the final year of a six-year, $29.4 million contract, and the Flames will retain 50 percent of his salary for the 2026-27 campaign.

Wild's Jagger Joshua: Signs two-year, two-way contract
Joshua signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Wild on Wednesday.
Joshua spent the entire 2025-26 regular season with AHL Rochester, recording eight goals, 18 assists and 101 PIM across 71 appearances. He hasn't yet made his NHL debut and will likely begin the 2026-27 campaign in the minors.

Wild's Dylan Gambrell: Signs two-way contract
Gambrell signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Wild on Wednesday.
Gambrell had 10 goals and 36 points in 35 outings with AHL Iowa in 2025-26. The 29-year-old is unlikely to make Minnesota's Opening Night roster, but he'll get a chance to compete for a spot during training camp.

Wild's Zach Bogosian: Returning to Minnesota
Bogosian (lower body) signed a one-year, $1.25 million contract with the Wild on Wednesday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Across 41 regular-season appearances with Minnesota in 2025-26, Bogosian recorded two goals, four assists, 47 hits, 37 blocked shots and 18 PIM while averaging 14:33 of ice time. He dealt with a lower-body injury late in the regular season and during the playoffs, and it's not yet clear whether the issue will impact his availability for training camp in the fall.

Wild's Nick Foligno: Agrees to one-year deal
Foligno signed a one-year, $900,000 contract with the Wild on Wednesday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Foligno had four goals, 15 points, 44 PIM, 129 hits and 33 blocks in 54 regular-season appearances between Chicago and Minnesota in 2025-26. The 38-year-old will probably open 2026-27 on the Wild's fourth line, but he's capable of shifting to a middle-six role if injuries warrant the change.

Wild's Mason Shaw: Inks two-way deal
Shaw signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Wild on Wednesday, per Michael Russo of The Athletic.
Shaw had 15 goals, 44 points and 67 PIM in 71 regular-season appearances with AHL Manitoba in 2025-26. The 27-year-old will compete for an NHL roster spot during training camp, but he'll probably begin 2026-27 in the minors.

Wild's Calvin Pickard: Agrees to one-year deal
Pickard signed a one-year, $1 million contract with the Wild on Wednesday.
Pickard had a 3.68 GAA and an .871 save percentage in 16 regular-season appearances with Edmonton in 2025-26. He also had a 3.26 GAA and an .886 save percentage in eight regular-season outings with AHL Bakersfield last campaign. Filip Gustavsson (hip) is questionable for the start of the 2026-27 season, which could open the door for Pickard to be Jesper Wallstedt's backup out of the gate.

Wild's Justin Kirkland: Snags one-year deal
Kirkland inked a one-year, two-way contract with the Wild on Wednesday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Kirkland is far from a lock to make the team coming out of training camp and could spend much of the year in the minors with AHL Iowa. Still, the 29-year-old winger is a decent depth piece who figures to be atop the list of potential call-ups when the need arises.

Wild's Bobby Brink: Signs one-year contract
Brink signed a one-year, $2.75 million contract with Minnesota on Tuesday.
Brink had 15 goals, 30 points, 104 shots on net and 80 hits over 68 regular-season appearances between Minnesota and Philadelphia in 2025-26. He will probably compete for a middle-six role with the Wild in the 2026-27 campaign.

Wild's Filip Ruzicka: Huge goalie nabbed by Wild
Ruzicka was the 137th overall pick by Minnesota in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday.
A native of Czechia, Ruzcika came to North America this past season to play for WHL Brandon. He had a so-so 2025-26 regular season, going 26-14-1 with a middling 3.19 GAA and a more reasonable .906 save percentage. Simply put, Ruzicka is huge. He's listed at 6-foot-7 and may end up even larger than that when all is said and done. His reads are quite refined for such a big kid, but he has issues going side-to-side at times, which isn't surprising given the size of his legs. Ruzicka is expected to return to his home country this coming season to suit up for Mountfield, the Czech organization for which he played his youth hockey before joining the Wheat Kings.

Wild's Adam Andersson: Swede joins Wild in Round 3
Andersson was the 83rd overall pick by Minnesota in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday.
Andersson split time between three different Swedish Jr. leagues this past season, posting six goals and 26 points in 36 games in total. Those numbers aren't reflective of the offensive skill set he brings to the table. Andersson is 6-foot-4, 215 pounds. He protects the puck well, particularly down low and along the boards, and is willing to use his large frame to make a play. Andersson's long-term upside depends on his ability to improve both his foot speed and his ability to process things a bit more quickly in all three zones. Andersson won't turn 18 years old until early July. He seems likely to earn some playing time this coming season for a Leksands team that got relegated from the SHL to the second-tier Allsvenskan.

Wild's Michael McCarron: Staying in Minnesota
McCarron signed a six-year, $19.8 million contract with the Wild on Tuesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
After being dealt from Nashville to Minnesota prior to the trade deadline in March, McCarron supplied three goals, five points, 23 shots, 40 hits, 17 blocks and a minus-1 rating while averaging 12:40 of ice time over 20 regular-season games. Now that the 31-year-old has some security in the form of a long-term deal, McCarron is set to be a staple in the Wild's bottom six going forward. The 6-foot-6 forward won't warrant much attention in the fantasy realm, but he should continue to be a steady source of hits if managers need help in that category.

Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Set for offseason surgery
Gustavsson will undergo hip surgery in the offseason, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports Monday.
According to general manager Bill Guerin, Gustavsson's availability for the start of the 2026-27 season won't be known until after his procedure. On top of that concern for fantasy managers, the fact that the 27-year-old backstop was effectively benched for the postseason in favor of Jesper Wallstedt will raise questions about who is the No. 1 option heading into next season.

Wild's Nico Sturm: Contributes two assists
Sturm logged two assists, two shots on goal and two hits in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Avalanche in Game 5.
This was Sturm's first multi-point effort since Dec. 7, 2023. He ended the postseason at one goal, four assists, 10 shots on net, 17 hits and an even plus-minus rating over eight appearances. The Wild could experience some turnover at forward this offseason, but Sturm is under contract and will be in contention for bottom-six minutes if he remains with the team to start 2026-27.

Wild's Matt Boldy: Provides pair of helpers
Boldy notched two assists, five shots on goal and three hits in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Avalanche in Game 5.
Boldy was able to earn his fourth multi-point effort of the postseason, but the Wild's effort to keep their season alive still fell short. The winger had seven goals, six assists, 48 shots on net, 19 hits, eight blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 11 playoff contests. Boldy solidified his star status with a 42-goal, 85-point regular season, and he'll be a key part of the Wild's core moving forward.

Wild's Marcus Johansson: Strikes early in Game 5 loss
Johansson scored a goal in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Avalanche in Game 5.
Johansson tallied just 34 seconds into the game, setting the early tone in the Wild's favor. That didn't last, as the Avalanche controlled the last two periods of regulation and completed their comeback in overtime. Johansson had four goals, 18 shots on net, 21 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 11 playoff contests, including three goals in the second round. The 35-year-old winger is one of eight pending unrestricted free agents for Minnesota's forward group. He impressed with 49 points over 75 regular-season outings, his best campaign since 2016-17, so he should have a decent market if the Wild opt not to bring him back.
