Clifton logged a shorthanded assist, two shots on goal, two hits and two PIM in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Jets.
Clifton helped out on an Alex Tuch tally in the third period, which ended up being the game-winner. The 29-year-old Clifton has just two assists over 12 outings in March as he continues to log bottom-four minutes. For the season, he's produced 10 assists, 49 shots on net, 170 hits, 88 blocked shots, 37 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 60 contests.

Sabres' Jacob Bernard-Docker: Collects pair of helpers
Bernard-Docker registered two assists, two hits and two blocked shots in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Jets.
Bernard-Docker set up goals by JJ Peterka and Rasmus Dahlin. This was Bernard-Docker's second game as a Sabre after taking some time to get acclimated to his new team following a lengthy immigration process following his trade from the Senators. He's seeing bottom-four minutes for now, and he may have a tough time carving out a larger role given the talent on the Sabres' blue line. The 24-year-old has six points, 19 shots on net, 23 hits, 27 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 27 appearances in 2024-25.

Sabres' Tyson Kozak: Finds twine in Sunday's win
Kozak scored a power-play goal and added three hits in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Jets.
Kozak's tally came right at the end of a power play in the third period. He doesn't normally see much time with the man advantage, and he shouldn't be expected to make a significant impact in that area. He's up to two goals, nine shots on net, 19 hits and 22 blocked shots over 16 NHL appearances in 2024-25, mainly as a fourth-line center.

Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Buries goal in Sunday's win
Dahlin scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Jets.
Dahlin has had a decent month on offense with four goals and four assists over 12 games in March, but he's also minus-6 with 16 PIM in that span. The 24-year-old defenseman's goal Sunday put the Sabres ahead 2-1, and they were in the lead the rest of the way. He's now at 13 goals, 54 points, 165 shots on net, 80 hits, 87 blocked shots, 48 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 61 appearances. Dahlin could return to the 60-point mark for the second time in his career if he has a strong conclusion to the campaign.

Sabres' Alex Tuch: Scores shortie in win
Tuch scored a shorthanded goal, took two shots, recorded two hits, blocked two shots and posted a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Jets.
Tuch found the back of the net when the Jets had the man advantage midway through the third period, and that goal proved to be the dagger since it gave the Sabres a 4-2 lead when Winnipeg was actively looking to score the equalizer. Tuch has scored 27 goals this season, the second-best output of his career, and he's netted six of those across his last 12 appearances.

Peterka scored a goal and recorded two hits in Sunday's 5-3 win over Winnipeg.
Peterka has found the back of the net in each of the Sabres' last three contests, tallying eight shots in that span, though in the last two games he's needed just one shot to score. Peterka is aiming to end the season on a strong note, but it's worth mentioning he's been playing at a high level for the last few weeks. Since the beginning of February and over a 15-game stretch, the 23-year-old has recorded 14 points (eight goals, six assists), 37 shots, 10 hits, three blocked shots and a minus-5 rating.

It'll be just the second start in 10 games for Reimer -- he allowed three goals on 30 shots in a loss to Utah on Thursday. Overall, the veteran netminder is 2-6-2 with a .902 save percentage and 2.72 GAA this year. Reimer will have a tough matchup against a Winnipeg team that averages 3.46 goals per game, the third-best mark in the league.

Luukkonen has been at the mercy of defensive breakdowns by the Sabres, a squad struggling with a 27-35-6 record. The team is 3-7-1 in its past 11, and UPL was between the pipes for all three victories. He's solid, but this situation is horrible for netminders, and Luukkonen will be left holding the proverbial bag most nights. Fantasy managers will likely need to pick another netminder as the season ends -- he's too risky for poolies at this stage.

Quinn missed the team's morning meeting. The 23-year-old will presumably draw back into the lineup Sunday in Winnipeg, especially after Sam Lafferty suffered a groin injury in Saturday's defeat. Buffalo's only other healthy forward is Brett Murray. The 23-year-old Quinn has 10 goals and 26 points in 60 outings in 2024-25.

Lafferty sustained a groin injury during Saturday's 4-1 loss to Minnesota.
Lafferty had a shot and two hits in 7:33 of ice time Saturday. Coach Lindy Ruff said there's a good chance Lafferty won't play Sunday versus Winnipeg. If that's the case, then Lafferty's next opportunity to return would be Tuesday versus Ottawa.
