Flames' Dan Vladar: Starting versus Columbus
Vladar will be in the blue paint for Tuesday's home contest against the Blue Jackets, according to Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
Vladar had his worst performance of the campaign Saturday -- he conceded six goals on 43 shots in a 6-2 loss to Pittsburgh. The 27-year-old has just one win over a six-game span since Nov. 3. The Blue Jackets have been productive on offense with 3.61 goals per game through 23 outings, which is the sixth-best mark in the NHL.

Klapka was returned to AHL Calgary on Monday.
Klapka hasn't earned a point in six NHL appearances this season while posting seven shots on goal, seven blocked shots and 20 hits. The Flames recalled Jakob Pelletier and Walker Duehr from AHL Calgary on Monday while placing Justin Kirkland (lower body) on injured reserve.

Flames' Walker Duehr: Called up Monday
Duehr was recalled from AHL Calgary on Monday.
Duehr has made 20 appearances for AHL Calgary since the start of the season, tallying 11 goals and eight assists. Flames' Justin Kirkland: Shifts to IR
Kirkland (lower body) was put on injured reserve Monday.
In corresponding moves, the Flames recalled Jakob Pelletier and Walker Duehr from AHL Calgary while assigning Adam Klapka to the minors. Kirkland sat out Saturday's 6-2 loss to Pittsburgh and won't be eligible to return until at least Dec. 8 against Dallas. However, the exact timeline for his return is unclear. He has two goals, six assists, nine shots on net, 16 blocked shots and 45 hits across 21 outings this season.

Flames' Jakob Pelletier: Recalled by Calgary
Pelletier was recalled from AHL Calgary on Monday.
Pelletier has been in the minors since the start of the regular season, tallying three goals, 16 assists and a plus-7 rating over 20 appearances with AHL Calgary. He'll provide additional depth for the Flames after Justin Kirkland (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Monday.

Flames' Kevin Bahl: Bags apple in loss
Bahl notched an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Penguins.
Bahl started and ended November with assists in consecutive contests, but he had just one other helper over the 11 games in between. The 24-year-old could be a fantasy force if he finds steadier offense, though that isn't a particularly likely projection. He's at a modest eight helpers while adding 28 shots on net, 36 hits, 37 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 24 outings in a top-four role this season.

Flames' Martin Pospisil: Provides helper in loss
Pospisil notched an assist, four hits, two shots on goal, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Penguins.
An in-game adjustment united Pospisil with Nazem Kadri and Jonathan Huberdeau, though it's unclear if that line will stick moving forward. Pospisil did fairly well for himself late in November, earning five points, 12 PIM and eight hits over the last seven games of the month. He's up to 10 points, 36 shots on net, 61 hits, 33 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 25 contests this season, playing mainly in a middle-six role.

Flames' Nazem Kadri: Two points against Pens
Kadri picked up a goal and an assist in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Penguins.
Both points came in the third period, but the Flames were already staring at a 5-0 deficit at that point. Kadri hadn't put together a multi-point performance since Calgary's second game of the season, but the veteran center has been fairly productive in November, with four goals and nine points over the last 13 contests.

Flames' Jonathan Huberdeau: Two-point effort in loss
Huberdeau produced a goal and an assist in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Penguins.
Both points came in the third period, and it was Huberdeau's tally that spoiled Alex Nedeljkovic's shutout bid. This was the 31-year-old winger's first multi-point performance since Calgary's second game of the season. Through 25 appearances, Huberdeau has a sluggish 14 points (eight goals, six helpers).

Flames' Dan Vladar: Pummeled by Pens
Vladar turned aside 37 shots in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Penguins.
Three of the season-high six goals against Vladar came on Pittsburgh power plays, and the Calgary offense didn't wake up until the third period. The 27-year-old netminder has only one win in his last six starts, going 1-3-2 over that stretch with a 3.09 GAA and .891 save percentage, but for now Vladar still appears to be in a timeshare with Dustin Wolf.

Flames' Dan Vladar: Starting in Pittsburgh
Vladar will defend the road net against the Penguins on Saturday, per Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
Vladar is coming off a 25-save effort in Wednesday's 2-1 overtime loss to Detroit. He has a 4-4-3 record with one shutout, a 2.59 GAA and a .905 save percentage through 11 appearances this season. Pittsburgh ranks 24th in the league with 2.60 goals per game in 2024-25.

Flames' Justin Kirkland: Out of action Saturday
Kirkland (lower body) won't play Saturday in Pittsburgh, Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Kirkland was injured early in the first period after playing just two shifts, and did not return. He has been a good fourth-line winger, as he has two goals, six assists, 45 hits and 16 blocked shots in 21 contests. Adam Klapka will replace Kirkland in the lineup Saturday.

Flames' Kevin Bahl: Posts helper in loss
Bahl notched an assist and two hits in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Bahl ended a nine-game slump with the helper. The 24-year-old defenseman has seen steady top-four minutes, but his contributions don't always show up in stats, as he is more of a shutdown blueliner. He's up to seven assists, 26 shots on net, 36 hits, 37 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating across 24 appearances. Bahl is well on his way to surpassing his career high of 11 points from last season with the Devils.

Flames' Rasmus Andersson: Bags apple in loss
Andersson posted an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Andersson has three points over his last six outings. The defenseman helped out on a Blake Coleman tally in this contest. Andersson has mostly played at his usual level in 2024-25 with 14 points, 42 shots on net, 75 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 24 appearances. He's a lock for top-four minutes and power-play time as one of the Flames' top blueliners.

Flames' Blake Coleman: Tallies in loss
Coleman scored a goal on two shots and added a game-high six hits in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Coleman beat a goalie for the first time since the first of his two tallies in a Nov. 1 win over the Devils. He also has two empty-netters and two assists in November. Coleman will never be a leader on offense -- he's best deployed in a middle-six role, though the Flames have had him on the top line recently. The 33-year-old is at five goals, 10 points, 56 shots on net, 47 hits, 21 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through 24 appearances this season.

Flames' Nazem Kadri: Strikes on power play in loss
Kadri scored a power-play goal on two shots, added two hits, logged two PIM and went minus-3 in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Blue Jackets.
The goal was Kadri's fifth point in the last seven games, and three of them have come on the power play. The 34-year-old center is up to seven goals, six helpers, 74 shots on net, 22 PIM, 15 hits and a minus-14 rating through 24 appearances. Despite the 5-on-5 struggles, Kadri continues to log top-six minutes and will likely keep doing so given the lack of veteran talent in the Flames' lineup.

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Second straight loss
Wolf made 29 saves in a 5-2 loss to Columbus on Friday. He allowed four goals and picked up an assist.
Wolf has lost two straight after winning four consecutive games. But his game remains impressive overall. The rookie is 8-4-1 with a 2.59 GAA and .918 save percentage. The Flames have impressed this season, in part due to the strength of Wolf's game. Wolf has a strong technical approach and skates well, and his attention to the little details of his game are impeccable. He plays deeper in his net than most goalies his size, but it really works for him. It seems to shorten his lateral game and that improves his speed. Wolf is a long-shot to win the Calder this season, but he should be get consideration. He's that good.
