Blues' Matt Kessel: Gets on scoresheet with assist
Kessel logged an assist and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Lightning.
The helper was Kessel's first point in 10 outings this season. The 24-year-old defenseman has added eight blocked shots, six shots on goal, five hits, four PIM and a minus-3 rating. Kessel should have a little more job security in the short term, as Philip Broberg (lower body) is out 4-6 weeks, joining Nick Leddy (lower body) as injured St. Louis blueliners.

Blues' Radek Faksa: Logs helper
Faksa provided an assist and two hits in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Lightning.
Faksa ended a 10-game slump with the assist on Alexei Toropchenko's go-ahead goal in the second period. It's not unusual for Faksa to be quiet on offense as a bottom-six center. He has two points, nine shots on net, 19 hits, six blocked shots, six PIM and a minus-3 rating over 13 appearances this season. Expect the 30-year-old's usage to remain heavily defensive throughout the campaign.

Blues' Brandon Saad: Gathers assist
Saad notched an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Lightning.
Saad snapped a three-game dry spell when he helped out on Jordan Kyrou's third-period tally, which stood as the game-winner. While Saad has been listed on the first line, his ice time has declined over the last week, reaching a season-low 13:29 in Tuesday's win. The 32-year-old is at five points, 19 shots on net and a minus-1 rating over 10 appearances this season. He is more of a secondary scorer, so fantasy managers may want to stream him rather than roster him on a regular basis.

Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: Finds twine in win
Toropchenko scored a goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Lightning.
The goal was Toropchenko's first of the season, snapping an eight-game point drought. The 25-year-old saw a season-high 16:44 of ice time as he was called on to fill a larger role after Dylan Holloway (upper body) exited the game. Toropchenko has two points, 14 shots on net, 25 hits, 11 blocked shots, seven PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 11 outings this season. He's mainly a checking-line winger, though he can chip in some depth offense as well.

Blues' Oskar Sundqvist: Pots goal in win
Sundqvist scored a goal and added two PIM in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Lightning.
Sundqvist got on the scoresheet for the first time this season when he scored the game-tying goal at 7:57 of the second period on a rebound. The 30-year-old forward has added two shots on net, nine hits, three blocked shots, four PIM and an even plus-minus rating over six outings since he returned from a knee injury. Sundqvist has exceeded the 30-point mark just once in his career, so he's likely to fill a bottom-six role for most, if not all, of the campaign.

Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Goals harder to get this season
Kyrou scored a goal Tuesday in a 3-2 win over Tampa Bay.
He converted Brayden Schenn's pass to the slot from the left wall; the goal stood as the winner. Kyrou now has a goal in each of his last two games after going 10 outings without a snipe. He has 11 points, including four goals, in 13 appearances. Kyrou's pace is similar to his usual output, but his goal tally is lagging. He's on pace for 25 after averaging 34 goals over the last two years. His production may be tied to Robert Thomas's (ankle) playmaking, so his speedy return to health would help Kyrou.

Blues' Jordan Binnington: Among team leaders in all-time wins
Binnington made 21 saves in a 3-2 win over Tampa Bay on Tuesday.
With the win, Binnington moved into second place in Blues history with 149 wins. He is two wins from tying Mike Liut (151), and he has improved his record to 4-5-0 with a 2.77 GAA and a .904 save percentage. Binnington's performance may be unpredictable at times, but he's a true battler who's also expected to lead Canada's team at the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off in February in Montreal.

Blues' Dylan Holloway: Leaves Tuesday's game
Holloway (upper body) was stretchered away from the Blues' bench after taking a puck up high during Tuesday's game versus the Lightning, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.
Holloway was taken to the hospital, and the Blues reported that he is alert and stable. Holloway's injury led to the officials calling the first intermission early. The 23-year-old was having his neck looked at by the trainers and medical staff. An update on Holloway's status should be available prior to Thursday's game versus Utah.

Blues' Kasperi Kapanen: Set to miss Tuesday's game
Kapanen (upper body) isn't expected to play Tuesday versus Tampa Bay, according to Lou Korac of The Hockey News.
Kapanen is set to miss his third straight game. He has a goal, two PIM, 10 shots and 13 hits in eight appearances in 2024-25. Kapanen will likely serve in a bottom-six capacity once he's healthy.

Blues' Jordan Binnington: Between pipes Tuesday
Binnington will patrol the home crease against Tampa Bay on Tuesday, per Lou Korac of NHL.com.
Binnington is coming off a 35-save performance in Saturday's 4-2 win over Toronto. He has a 3-5-0 record with a 2.87 GAA and a .903 save percentage through nine appearances this campaign. Tampa Bay sits sixth in the league with 3.83 goals per game in 2024-25.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Not skating yet
Joseph (lower body) hasn't resumed skating and remains unavailable to play, head coach Drew Bannister told Lou Korac of NHL.com on Monday.
Joseph has missed the last three games, and it's unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup. He is status quo, so consider him out indefinitely until he is back skating with the Blues. Joseph has two goals, two assists, 14 shots on net and 13 hits through nine appearances this season.

Blues' Philip Broberg: Set for 4-6 week absence
Broberg (lower body) will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports Monday.
Given Broberg's recovery timeline, he should be a strong candidate for injured reserve and could even be designated for long-term injured reserve if the Blues need the cap space. Prior to getting hurt, the 23-year-old Swede was off to an incredible start to the 2024-25 campaign with nine points in 12 games -- already having topped his career-best eight points recorded with the Oilers over 46 contests back in 2022-23. In Broberg's stead, Pierre-Olivier Joseph and Scott Perunovich should both see an uptick in playing time.

Blues' Pavel Buchnevich: Deposits empty-netter
Buchnevich scored an empty-net goal on two shots and added five PIM in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Maple Leafs.
Buchnevich took out some frustration on Pontus Holmberg following the Toronto forward's slash against Jake Neighbours in the third period. Buchnevich was released from the penalty box in time to score an empty-netter, ending a three-game dry spell on offense. The 29-year-old has four goals, three assists, 20 shots on net, eight hits, 10 blocked shots, seven PIM and a plus-3 rating over 12 contests this season. That's modest offense for a player that's topped the 60-point mark in three straight years, though he may be hampered by focusing on the increased defensive responsibilities that have come with his move to playing center full-time -- he's also a paltry 42-for-144 on faceoffs, a 29.2 percent win rate.

Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Tallies in win Saturday
Kyrou scored a goal on five shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Maple Leafs.
The goal was Kyrou's first since he scored twice Opening Night versus the Kraken. He'd gone three games without a point entering Saturday's contest. The 26-year-old winger is up to three goals, 10 points, 38 shots on net and a plus-2 rating over 12 outings in 2024-25. Kyrou needs to show a bit more consistency as one of the Blues' most talented forwards -- he'll be leaned on for offense as Robert Thomas (ankle) works through a minimum six-week absence.

Blues' Ryan Suter: Big two-assist outing
Suter picked up two assists Saturday in a 4-2 win over the Maple Leafs.
Suter won't deliver many points this season, but Saturday was a great day for the man who will be 40 come January. He plays a savvy game that compensates for his lack of foot speed, and while that won't often translate into points, it will help the Blues as the team pushes for a potential return to the postseason.

Blues' Jordan Binnington: Stymies Leafs on Saturday
Binnington made 35 saves in a 4-2 win over Toronto on Saturday.
He has been up and down this season but was superb in Saturday's win. Binnington delivered a 1.33 GSAx (Goals Saved Above Expected) after stymying the Leafs more than once. He seems to love playing the Leafs -- he Binningtoned the Leafs on Oct. 24, too. He is 3-5-0 with a 2.87 GAA and a .903 save percentage this season. There will be stumbles alongside the brilliance from Saturday, but fantasy managers are likely accustomed to his swings in performance.

Blues' Colton Parayko: Massive three-point game in win
Parayko scored twice and had an assist Saturday in a 4-2 win over Toronto.
Parayko bombs are a thing of beauty. Both goals were one-timers -- the first from the right point and the second from the top of the left circle as a Mitch Marner penalty expired. Parayko has three goals and eight points in 12 games this season. If Philip Broberg (lower body) misses time, Parayko will chew up more minutes and power-play time. Check your wire just in case Parayko is lurking there.
