  • Jets' Dylan DeMelo: Ends slump with helper

DeMelo notched an assist, two hits and two PIM in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.

DeMelo went 14 games without a point before snapping the drought when he set up a Josh Morrissey tally in the third period. The 31-year-old DeMelo doesn't focus on offense, but his top-pairing role has often led to him chipping a decent amount of points simply by sharing ice time with the Jets' best players. For the season, he has just four helpers to go with 54 hits, 34 blocked shots, 28 shots on net, 14 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 31 contests.

  • Jets' Nikita Chibrikov: Finds twine Thursday

Chibrikov scored a goal in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.

The 21-year-old winger has made two appearances for the Jets and has registered three points, so he's made a strong impact with the NHL club. Chibrikov remains a prospect, but he's making an early case to remain in the lineup if he can maintain his production.

  • Jets' Josh Morrissey: Extends productive run

Morrissey scored a goal in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.

Morrissey scored his third goal of the season in this loss to the Golden Knights, and the 29-year-old blueliner remains a very productive defenseman across all fantasy formats. He's cracked the scoresheet in six of his last eight appearances, and on the season, he's up to 28 points (three goals, 25 assists) across 31 contests.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Stops 33 shots in OT loss

Hellebuyck stopped 33 of 36 shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.

Hellebuyck had won each of his previous three starts, and he was less than two minutes away from extending that streak to four, but he had to settle for an overtime loss instead. Regardless of the outcome of the game, Hellebuyck had another impressive performance between the pipes. He's gone 3-2-1 in six December contests, posting a 2.14 GAA and a .921 save percentage during that time.

  • Jets' Nikolaj Ehlers: Practicing in non-contact jersey

Ehlers (lower body) practiced in a non-contact jersey Friday, according to Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site.

Ehlers has been out of action since Nov. 29 and has missed the last seven games. The 28-year-old was having a banner season before his injury in Vegas, as he has logged nine goals and 16 assists across 24 appearances this season.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Tending twine Thursday

Hellebuyck will be in the home blue paint versus Vegas on Thursday, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports.

Hellebuyck has won three straight games and has not allowed more than three goals in his last nine starts, going 6-3-0 with a 2.00 GAA and a .927 save percentage. Hellebuyck leads the NHL with 18 wins, four better than Jake Oettinger and Filip Gustavsson. Hellebuyck will face the Golden Knights, who are scoring 3.50 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Jets' David Gustafsson: In concussion protocol

Gustafsson missed Wednesday's practice and is in the concussion protocol, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press.

Gustafsson was injured when he fought against Boston's Trent Frederic during the third period of Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Bruins. Gustafsson has no points, five PIM and four hits in three appearances in 2024-25. Rasmus Kupari will likely draw back into the lineup while Gustafsson is unavailable.

  • Jets' Cole Perfetti: Puts up helper

Perfetti logged an assist and two hits in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Bruins.

Perfetti set up Nikita Chibrikov's first NHL tally late in the third period as the Jets ran up the score. The helper ended a five-game slump for Perfetti. The 22-year-old winger is at 18 points, 53 shots on net and a plus-11 rating through 30 contests, but he appears to be struggling a bit with the Jets missing Nikolaj Ehlers (lower body) from the second line. The good news is Perfetti's role appears stable, so he's in a good spot to turn things around.

  • Jets' Neal Pionk: Records two helpers in big win

Pionk notched two assists, four blocked shots and two PIM in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Bruins.

Pionk had been held off the scoresheet over the previous three games, but he has a goal and four helpers over five contests before the slump. The 29-year-old defenseman made his impact on the second power-play unit, assisting on goals by Vladislav Namestnikov and Alex Iafallo. Pionk is up to 24 points (eight on the power play), 55 shots on net, 50 blocked shots, 42 hits, 22 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 30 appearances. He is tracking toward a career year -- his current high-water mark is 45 points in 71 games in 2019-20.

  • Jets' Mason Appleton: Tacks on goal Tuesday

Appleton scored a goal and added two hits in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Bruins.

Appleton has three points over his last three games, a vast improvement on the two assists he logged over the prior 16 contests. The 28-year-old wasn't going to sustain his hot start to the season, but the Jets have mostly left their lines intact since the team has played well. Appleton is at six goals, eight assists, 49 shots on net, 32 hits and a plus-8 rating over 30 appearances in a third-line role.

  • Jets' Alex Iafallo: Buries power-play goal

Iafallo scored a power-play goal on three shots in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Bruins.

Iafallo earned his first point since a two-goal game versus the Wild on Nov. 25. During his seven-game slump, he had five shots on net and a minus-3 rating. Iafallo's production has been propped up by his spot on the second power-play unit -- seven of his nine points have come with the man advantage this year. He's added 31 shots on net, 23 blocked shots and 17 hits while skating on the fourth line at even strength.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Deposits power-play goal

Namestnikov scored a power-play goal on three shots in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Bruins.

Namestnikov ended a five-game slump with the opening tally Tuesday. It was his first power-play point since Nov. 9 versus the Stars. The 32-year-old forward is up to seven goals, 16 points, 33 shots on net, 29 hits, 24 PIM, 19 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating through 30 outings. He's been a decent depth scorer in a middle-six role this season, and his seven power-play points are his most in a single campaign since 2017-18, when he had 16 of them between the Lightning and the Rangers.

  • Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: One of each in blowout win

Vilardi scored a goal on three shots, added an assist and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Bruins.

The Jets' first line is humming again -- all three of Vilardi, Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor had multiple points Tuesday. For Vilardi, it was his second such effort in four games, a span in which he has three goals and two assists. The 25-year-old is up to 12 goals, 10 assists, 57 shots on net and a plus-2 rating through 30 appearances. He doesn't boast as high a ceiling as his linemates, but Vilardi is shaping up to be a reliable offense-only option for fantasy managers.

  • Jets' Nikita Chibrikov: Pots first goal of season

Chibrikov scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Bruins.

In his 2024-25 debut for the Jets, the 21-year-old helped set up an Alex Iafallo tally as part of a five-goal eruption by Winnipeg in the third period, then potted the final marker of the game himself after a Bruins giveaway in their own zone inside the last four minutes. It was Chibrikov's first NHL goal this season and the second of his career, and while the power-play shifts are nice to see, the fact that they came in a rout suggests he isn't likely to see regular duty on the man advantage quite yet. The 2021 second-round pick had five goals and 13 points in 19 AHL games prior to his promotion Monday, and if he stays productive he could settle into a middle-six role.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Three points including GWG

Scheifele scored two goals, one the game-winner and the other on the power play, and he added an assist in Tuesday's 8-1 rout of Boston.

The 31-year-old center gave Winnipeg a 2-0 lead late in the first period, and the Jets didn't blow the game open until the third. Scheifele extended his point streak to five games in the process, a stretch in which he's piled up four goals and eight points, and on the season he's delivered 16 goals through 30 contests -- tying him for eighth in the NHL with teammate Kyle Connor.

  • Jets' Kyle Connor: Three-point effort Tuesday

Connor scored a goal and added two assists in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Bruins.

The veteran winger helped set up Mark Scheifele for what proved to be the game-winning goal late in the first period before picking up his other two points in the third. Connor hasn't cooled down much since his season-opening 12-game point streak -- over his last 12 contests, he's produced five goals and 14 points, and he's tied with Scheifele for eighth in the NHL with 16 tallies on the season.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Cruises to third straight win

Hellebuyck made 23 saves in Tuesday's 8-1 rout of the Bruins.

Boston fired exactly eight shots at Hellebuyck in each period, but the only one to beat him came on a David Pastrnak one-timer from the faceoff dot on a Bruins power play in the second frame. Hellebuyck has won three straight starts, allowing just five goals on 68 shots during that span, and on the season, he sports an NHL-leading 18 wins while sitting second in GAA (2.09) and save percentage (.927).
