Kaprizov scored the game-winning goal at even strength and added two assists, one on the power play, during the Wild's 6-1 win over the Stars in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series Saturday.
The Minnesota superstar gave his team a 2-0 lead just 56 seconds into the second period, finding the top corner over Jake Oettinger's shoulder from below the faceoff dot, before he helped set up tallies by Matt Boldy and Joel Eriksson Ek. Kaprizov has clicked into gear in April, and over seven games this month, he's produced four multi-point performances while amassing seven goals and 11 points.

Wild's Kirill Kaprizov: Returns to usual roles
Kaprizov (rest) was on the top line and No. 1 power-play unit for Thursday's practice, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Kaprizov was given the Wild's last two games off in order to rest up for a postseason run. In his last seven outings, the Russian winger has found the back of the net seven times, including a pair of goals against the Stars on April 9. He'll need to continue to produce at that level in order to get Minnesota past Dallas in its first-round series.

The Wild have clinched a playoff spot and will rest Kaprizov and several other key contributors during the penultimate game of the regular season. The 28-year-old has produced multi-point performances in three of six appearances this month, recording six goals, two assists, five hits and three blocked shots while averaging 20:22 of ice time across that span. Kaprizov got the Wild on the board late in the second period after the Bruins went on a three-goal scoring run to open the contest.
