Ravens' Tyler Loop: Misses FGA in loss to New Orleans
Loop went 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and 2-for-2 on PATs in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Saints.
Loop had his first field-goal try from 49 yards blocked in the second quarter before converting from 49 yards in the third quarter. It was a step back from Loop's Week 1 in which he made all seven kicks. He'll be in line for a big rebound game Sunday in a potential shootout under the dome at AT&T Stadium against the Cowboys.

Loop made both of his field-goal attempts and all five PATs in Sunday's 41-23 win over the Colts.
After a rough preseason, Loop kept his job as the Ravens' kicker despite the team's addition of Jake Moody to the practice squad. Loop was just 1-for-4 on field-goal tries from 50-plus yards as a rookie last season, but he drilled his 57-yard attempt Sunday against Indy and added a 45-yard make. If he can be more consistent, Loop should be a premier fantasy kicker in this high-powered Baltimore offense.

Ravens' Tyler Loop: Expected to be Week 1 kicker
Coach Jesse Minter said Monday that Loop is expected to handle Week 1 kicking duties against the Colts despite Baltimore's addition of Jake Moody to the practice squad, Giana Han of the Baltimore Banner reports.
Loop missed a pair of field-goal attempts in the Ravens' preseason finale and has struggled during his short career on kicks from distance, as he made just one of four field goals from 50-plus yards during the 2025 regular season. He figures to have a short leash after his Week 18 miss last season sent the Steelers to the playoffs over the Ravens. Whoever kicks for the Ravens will have plenty of fantasy appeal in what should be one of the league's top offenses.

Loop converted two of his four field-goal attempts while going 5-for-5 on PATs in Friday night's 41-3 preseason win over the Commanders.
Loop has had a strong camp, but coach Jesse Minter did not discount the possibility of bringing in competition for the kicker spot, per Kyle Goon of TheBaltimoreBanner.com. Loop's misses Friday came from 58 and 51 yards put, and they come on the heels of a rookie season in which he made just one of his four attempts from 50 yards or longer. Loop has some level of security as the only kicker on Baltimore's roster, but he will have eyes on him moving forward.

Loop is 3-for-4 on field goal tries and 4-for-4 on extra points thus far in preseason.
The second-year kicker is under a bit of a microscope after an uneven rookie campaign that had some lowlights, such as the missed kick in Week 18 against the Steelers that kept Baltimore out of the playoffs. The team has expressed confidence in Loop throughout the offseason by not bringing in a veteran kicker to compete. Loop missed his first field goal of the preseason but has been true on his other attempts. Additionally, Loop has developed some consistency in practices, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.

Ravens' Tyler Loop: Still has confidence of team
Ravens coach Jesse Minter said in June that the team remains confident in Loop, who was the only kicker on the roster for offseason practices, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.
A 2025 sixth-round pick, Loop missed just four field-goal attempts and two PATs as a rookie, but his season was ultimately remembered for a last-second shank that cost Baltimore a playoff spot. He also went just 1-for-4 on kicks of 50-plus yards, unable to make an impact from long range despite boasting plenty of leg strength. While the Ravens still have time to bring in competition before Week 1, they clearly intend for Loop to handle the placekicking work if he doesn't faceplant during training camp and the preseason.

Ravens' Tyler Loop: Heartbreak to end rookie season
Loop made 1-of-2 FG tries and 3-of-3 extra-point attempts against Pittsburgh in a 26-24 Week 18 loss Sunday. He finished the campaign having gone 30-for-34 on field-goal attempts and 44-for-46 on PAT tries.
Loop converted a 40-yard FG in the second quarter Sunday, but he came up wide right on a 44-yard game-winner attempt as time expired. That miss sealed a two-point Ravens loss and marked a stunning end to the team's season. Though Loop's miss will likely linger in the minds of Baltimore fans for some time, it isn't indicative of how the performed this season. The rookie out of Arizona made a steady 88.2 percent of his FG tries, and though he was just 1-for-4 from 50-plus yards out, his final kick of the campaign was his first FG miss on 30 tries from fewer than 50 yards. Loop figures to be back as Baltimore's kicker when the 2026-27 campaign begins in September.
