Jaguars' Jack Kiser: Signed to Jacksonville's active roster
The Jaguars signed Kiser from the practice squad to the active roster Wednesday.
Kiser joined the Jaguars' practice squad in late August after failing to crack the team's 53-man roster at the end of training camp. However, the 2025 fourth-rounder is now on the active roster, taking the spot vacated by B.J. Green (elbow), who was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding move. Kiser mostly served on special teams during his rookie year with the Jaguars, finishing with 14 tackles (five solo) across 14 regular-season games.

Jack Kiser: Waived by Jaguars, lands on practice squad
Jacksonville waived Kiser (knee) on Sunday, John Oehser of the team's official site reports.
Kiser was selected by the Jaguars in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft and played in 14 regular-season games as a rookie, working primarily on special teams. He wasn't able to make Jacksonville's 53-man roster but cleared waivers and subsequently signed to the Jags' practice squad.

Jaguars' Jack Kiser: Absent with knee issue
Kiser (knee) was not present during Thursday's practice, Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union reports.
The outside linebacker seems to have picked up a problem with his right knee but isn't expected to have a particularly lengthy absence. The fact O'Halloran notes Kiser is expected back "later in camp" suggests the 2025 fourth-round pick should have a chance to return to the field with enough time to amply prepare for what's expected to be a starting role in 2026.

Jaguars' Jack Kiser: Sent to injured reserve
The Jaguars placed Kiser (undisclosed) on injured reserve Tuesday.
The reserve linebacker and special-teamer has logged 14 tackles (five solo) across 14 appearances this season. He's played 43 snaps on defense and another 193 on kick-coverage units. Kiser will be required to miss the final three games of the regular season and won't be eligible to return until the second round of the playoffs should Jacksonville make it that far.

Jaguars' Jack Kiser: Joins Jacksonville
The Jaguars selected Kiser in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 107th overall.
The Notre Dame product was in school for six seasons and had 69 games played, so he's plenty experienced. Kiser is a bit of a tweener with his size at 6-foot-2 and 229 pounds at linebacker, but he has good coverage ability and tackling ability. Jacksonville needed some linebacker depth coming into the draft and Kiser can provide that.
