Gabe Davis: Getting look from Giants
The Giants are hosting Davis (knee) for a visit Tuesday, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports.
It's the second visit in as many days for Davis, who checked in with the 49ers on Monday, after he was released by the Jaguars on May 7. The 2020 fourth-rounder is recovering from a meniscus tear that he suffered in Week 11 against the Lions but is expected to be fully healthy by the start of the 2025 regular season. He previously played under Giants head coach Brian Daboll in Buffalo, and a reunion would put Davis in a receiver room alongside Malik Nabers, Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton.

Gabe Davis: Visiting San Francisco
The 49ers are hosting Davis (knee) for a visit Monday, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports.
Davis was released by the Jaguars in early May after playing out just one season of his three-year, $39 million contract with the team. He recorded just a 20-239-2 line (on 42 targets) across 10 appearances in 2024 before going down with a meniscus injury. Davis is still dealing with the issue, but he's expected to be fully healthy by Week 1, making him a potential depth option for a San Francisco wide receiver corps that parted ways with Deebo Samuel earlier this offseason.

Gabe Davis: Released by Jaguars
The Jaguars released Davis (knee) on Wednesday.
Davis made it through just one season of a three-year, $39 million contract, playing 10 games for Jacksonville before a torn meniscus ended his 2024 campaign. He may not be back at full strength yet but should get there before Week 1 of 2025, making the 26-year-old a reasonable free-agent option for WR-needy teams this spring/summer. The Jaguars, meanwhile, are moving forward with No. 2 overall draft pick Travis Hunter and free-agent signing Dyami Brown alongside Brian Thomas at wide receiver.
