Ravens head coach Jesse Minter isn't sure if Walker will be available for Week 1 versus the Colts, though his limited participation in Wednesday's practice is at least keeping hope alive. The 25-year-old appeared in 12 regular-season games for the Ravens in 2025, totaling six catches for 136 yards and three touchdowns. If Walker can't get on the field for the opener, it could mean more targets for Rashod Bateman.

Ravens' Devontez Walker: Looking uncertain for Week 1
Ravens head coach Jesse Minter said Tuesday that Walker (undisclosed) is dealing with "something minor" but is uncertain to play in Sunday's season opener against the Colts, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Walker had six catches for 136 yards and three touchdowns on eight targets across 12 regular-season games in 2025.
Walker has a unique stat line through his first two seasons. He's had seven catches on 11 career targets, but those grabs have gone for 157 yards and three touchdowns. Five of his seven catches have gone for over 20 yards. Dating back to his rookie season, Walker's first three catches all went for touchdowns. While that efficiency is promising, it's difficult to take much away from seven catches in two seasons. Walker might still be a worthwhile target in deeper dynasty formats. DeAndre Hopkins was on a one-year deal in Baltimore this past season, and two pass-catching tight ends, Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar, are hitting free agency. Additionally, Baltimore will be installing a new coaching staff and offense in 2026. Walker may never be a high-target type of receiver, but there's a chance that he works his way into a significant snap share in three-wide sets in Baltimore, depending on how the offseason unfolds.

Walker failed to record a single target in Sunday's 24-0 win over the Bengals.
Walker was a complete nonfactor Sunday despite playing a season-high 61 percent snap share. The second-year wideout played 25 of the Ravens' 41 offensive snaps in the contest, the second most snaps among wide receivers behind only Zay Flowers (32). The spike in Walker's playing time came on a day when teammate Rashod Bateman (ankle) was inactive. Even so, the North Carolina product was unable to earn any opportunities against Cincinnati. The second-year wideout saw a season-high 23 snaps as Baltimore looked to find a spark in Rashod Bateman's absence. Walker was only targeted once, but converted it into the Ravens' longest offensive play from scrimmage Sunday. He has caught all four of his targets this season for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Walker's overall sample is too small to draw hard conclusions, but he has produced when called upon, dating back to his rookie season.
