Yankees' Will Warren: Wins third straight Friday
Warren (4-0) earned the win against the Orioles on Friday, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and a walk while striking out nine over 6.1 innings.
Warren surrendered a solo homer to Pete Alonso but was otherwise dominant, throwing 60 of 94 pitches for strikes with 12 whiffs. The 26-year-old has now posted three straight quality starts, and he's yielded two earned runs or fewer in each of his seven outings this season. He owns a 2.39 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 46:8 K:BB across 37.2 innings and will aim to keep things rolling against the Rangers at home next week.

Yankees' Will Warren: Picks up third win
Warren (3-0) earned the win Friday, allowing two runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings in a 12-4 victory over the Astros. He struck out six.
The right-hander surrendered single tallies in the fourth and sixth frames but otherwise kept Houston off the board to produce his second consecutive quality start and victory. Warren has given up two earned runs or fewer in each of his six outings this season, resulting in a 2.59 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 37:7 K:BB through 31.1 innings.

Yankees' Will Warren: Fans career-best 11 in second win
Warren (2-0) picked up the win in Saturday's 13-4 rout of the Royals, allowing two runs on five hits over seven innings. He struck out 11 without walking a batter.
The right-hander was dominant as he delivered his first quality start of the season and tied his career high in Ks, generating 32 called or swinging strikes among his 93 pitches (62 total strikes). Warren even had a shutout going until Carter Jensen finally got the visitors on the board with a two-run homer in the seventh. Warren is doing his best to make sure he's in no danger of losing his spot once the Yankees' rotation gets healthier, posting a 2.49 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and dazzling 31:6 K:BB through five starts and 25.1 innings. He'll look to keep rolling in his next outing, which is set to come on the road next weekend in Houston.

Yankees' Will Warren: Undone by defense in no-decision
Warren did not factor into the decision Monday against the Angels, allowing four unearned runs on three hits and one walk while striking out six over 3.2 innings
Warren was sharp through the first three innings, holding Los Angeles hitless, but they made him work for it by staying patient and forced him to throw 52 pitches in those frames. Trouble arose in the fourth after a fielding error allowed Mike Trout to reach, and the Angels capitalized by scoring four unearned runs -- three with two outs -- before Warren was lifted. Despite the hiccup, the right-hander continues to impress early this season, now sporting a 2.45 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and a 20:6 K:BB across 18.1 innings.

Yankees' Will Warren: Takes no-decision Wednesday
Warren allowed two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out five over 4.2 innings to take a no-decision Wednesday versus the Athletics.
Warren threw 48 of 85 pitches for strikes. He was rolling until the fourth inning, when the Athletics were able to pick up both of their runs against him, including the tying run coming across on a wild pitch. Warren has limited damage fairly well through three starts, maintaining a 3.07 ERA despite a 1.30 WHIP and 14:5 K:BB over 14.2 innings. However, his pitching hasn't led to longer starts with just one outing of at least five frames, and he'll need to work on his efficiency to get more sustained success. He is tentatively lined up for a home start versus the Angels early next week.

Yankees' Will Warren: Fans six en route to first win
Warren (1-0) allowed two runs on four hits over 5.2 innings Friday to collect the win in the Yankees' 8-2 victory over the Marlins. He struck out six without walking a batter.
The right-hander was lifted one out short of a quality start after giving up a pair of singles in the sixth with the Yankees ahead 4-2. Warren fired 47 of 77 pitches for strikes, and the two runs he did give up came on solo shots by Xavier Edwards in the first inning and Owen Caissie in the fifth. Warren will take a 2.70 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 9:2 K:BB through 10 innings into his next start, which is set to come at home next week against the A's.

Yankees' Will Warren: Keeps Giants in check
Warren took a no-decision Saturday against the Giants, allowing one run on five hits and two walks in 4.1 innings. He struck out three.
The right-hander labored a bit in his first appearance of the season, as he was unable to complete five frames despite firing 83 pitches. It was still a fine showing overall for Warren, who topped out at 97 mph on his fastball and generated 10 whiffs Saturday. The right-hander should be locked into a rotation spot for at least the first month of the campaign, as Gerrit Cole (elbow) and Carlos Rodon (elbow) are sidelined, and Warren is lined up for a favorable home matchup next week versus the Marlins.

Yankees' Will Warren: Continues standout spring
Warren completed four-plus innings in a Grapefruit League game against Tampa Bay on Tuesday, allowing one run on three hits and one walk while striking out four batters.
Warren retired 12 of the first 14 batters he faced and shut out the Rays through four frames. He returned for the fifth and gave up back-to-back singles before being pulled, and one of those baserunners scored following the right-hander's departure. Warren has looked great this spring, posting a 1.77 ERA, 0.74 WHIP and 16:3 K:BB over 20.1 innings spanning five starts. He's locked into the Yankees' rotation to begin the campaign, and if he continues pitching well into the regular season, he could stick as part of the starting staff even after Gerrit Cole (elbow) and Carlos Rodon (elbow) return to action.

Yankees' Will Warren: Looks good in spring debut
Warren tossed 2.2 innings in a Grapefruit League game against Toronto on Tuesday, allowing one run on four hits and no walks while striking out four batters.
Warren pounded the zone during his outing, throwing 36 of 49 pitches for strikes. He gave up a run in the first inning but ended the start by retiring the final five batters he faced. Warren averaged 93.1 mph on his fastball, which is right in line with the 93.3 mph he averaged on the offering last season. He seems to be a lock for a spot at the back of New York's rotation in the early going with Gerrit Cole (elbow), Carlos Rodon (elbow) and Clarke Schmidt (elbow) all slated to open the campaign on the injured list, but Warren will likely need to pitch well to maintain a starting role when those hurlers return to action.
