Madubuike (illness) does not have an injury designation for Saturday's game against the Browns. Madubuike was unable to practice Tuesday due to an illness, but he was able to avoid an injury tag for Saturday's regular-season finale after logging a full practice Thursday. The 2020 third-round pick has logged 11 tackles (five solo), including 1.5 sacks, in the three games since the Ravens' Week 14 bye.... See More ... See Less

Ravens' Nnamdi Madubuike: Logs limited session Wednesday
Madubuike (illness) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Madubuike appears to be trending toward playing in Saturday's matchup against the Browns, as he upgraded from a DNP on Tuesday to a limited session Wednesday. The Texas A&M product has appeared in all 16 of Baltimore's regular-season games thus far, recording 39 total tackles, including 6.5 sacks, and one forced fumble. If Madubuike is unable to suit up in Week 18, expect Brent Urban to see increased snaps with the Ravens' first-team defense.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Nnamdi Madubuike: Monster performance in win
Madubuike recorded five tackles (three solo), including 3.0 sacks, and a forced fumble during Thursday's 35-34 win versus the Bengals. Amazingly, Madibuike's full impact on Baltimore's win in Week 10 didn't completely register in the box score - his three sacks came among seven pressures, the most he's recorded in a single game in his career. He's still one of the league's best interior pass rushers heading into a Week 11 date at Pittsburgh.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Justin Madubuike: Inks massive extension
Madubuike agreed to a four-year, $98 million deal with the Ravens on Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Baltimore placed the franchise tag on Madubuike less than a week ago, but the two sides have now come to a long-term extension. According to Schefter, $75.5 million of Madubuike's contract is guaranteed and he received $53.5 million at signing. The 26-year-old defensive lineman is coming off the best season of his career, recording 56 total tackles, including 13.0 sacks, while also forcing two fumbles and receiving second-team All-Pro honors in 2023. Madubuike is now the second-highest paid interior defensive lineman in the NFL with a $24.5 million annual salary, and he's expected to continue wreaking havoc on opposing offenses for years to come.... Ravens' Justin Madubuike: Receives franchise tag
The Ravens officially placed the franchise tag on Madubuike on Tuesday. Madubuike will earn $22.1 million in guaranteed money for the 2024 campaign if he plays on the franchise tag, but he and Baltimore have until mid-July to continue negotiating a long-term deal. The 2020 third-round pick is coming off a breakout season in which he racked up 38 tackles, 13.0 sacks and two forced fumbles across 17 regular-season games, while earning his first Pro Bowl nod. In his previous three seasons combined, Madubuike had totaled 8.5 sacks.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Justin Madubuike: Franchise tag candidate
General manager Eric DeCosta said Tuesday that Madubuike will likely receive the Ravens' franchise tag if the team and the defensive tackle aren't able to come to an agreement on an extension before March 5, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Madubuike enjoyed a breakout 2023 campaign in which he set career highs with 38 tackles, 13.0 sacks and two forced fumbles while earning his first Pro Bowl trip. Though the 25-year-old appears unlikely to reach the open market, he would be considered one of the best options available at any position if he were to become a free agent.... See More ... Ravens' Justin Madubuike: Enters concussion protocol
Madubuike has entered the concussion protocol following Sunday's win over the Chargers. Madubuike recorded half a sack during Sunday's primetime matchup but apparently sustained a concussion and will have several steps to clear before he can return to action. However, he'll have additional time to recover since the Ravens have a Week 13 bye before facing the Rams on Dec. 10.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Justin Madubuike: Activated from COVID-19 list
The Ravens activated Madubuike (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday. Madubuike was placed on the COVID-19 list last week and was unavailable for Sunday's loss to the Bengals. However, he should reclaim his starting role for Sunday's Week 17 matchup against the Rams.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Justin Madubuike: Goes to COVID list
The Ravens placed Madubuike (undisclosed) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday. This marks Madubuike's second bout on the COVID list in as many seasons. It's unclear if he tested positive for the virus or merely was a close contact of Jaylon Ferguson (illness), but Madubuike isn't likely to be out there Sunday in Detroit. Both Justin Houston (undisclosed) and Brandon Williams (undisclosed) are in the same boat as Madubuike.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Justin Madubuike: Back at practice
Madubuike (knee) was a full participant for Wednesday's practice. Madubuike has yet to make his NFL debut due to a knee issue, but, as evidenced by this news, he appears ready to roll. Now that he's healthy, look for the Ravens to work the rookie out of Texas A&M into the defensive end rotation for Sunday's game against Washington.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Justin Madubuike: Limited Friday
Madubuike (knee) was a limited participant at Friday's practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. Madubuike's limited workload Friday seems to indicate he is trending toward a questionable designation ahead of Monday's matchup with the Chiefs. More clarity on his status should come with the Ravens' final injury report Saturday.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Justin Madubuike: Dealing with leg issue
Madubuike injured his leg during Saturday's scrimmage, Daniel Oyefusi of The Baltimore Sun reports. Madubuike was apparently getting his leg stretched out Saturday, indicating a possible soft-tissue injury. The rookie third-round pick will likely serve in a reserve role this year, but in the meantime, Justin Ellis and Chauncey Rivers are due for an uptick in reps while Madubuike rehabs.... See More ...
