Wizards' Erik Stevenson: Receives 10-day deal
Stevenson agreed to a 10-day contract with the Wizards on Monday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Stevenson will join the club on a short-term deal following the All-Star break, with his first opportunity to make his NBA debut coming Friday against the Bucks. The 25-year-old had averaged 17.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists across 23.9 minutes per contest over 32 appearances in the G League this season with the Capital City Go-Go.

Wizards' Carlton Carrington: Four assists in Rising Stars semis
Carrington logged five points (2-2 FG, 1-1 FT), four assists and one rebound over 9:02 of court time during Team M's 40-39 loss to Team G League in the Rising Stars semifinal.
Carrington led both teams in assists and finished with a plus-2 point differential. The rookie first-round pick has started in each of his last five games for the Wizards after being moved to the bench in late January. Over that span, he has averaged 16.0 points on 56.9 percent shooting (including 54.5 percent on 6.6 3PA/G), 6.0 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 0.8 steals over 36.4 minutes per game. With Kyle Kuzma now in Milwaukee, Carrington should continue to see an increased role for Washington following the All-Star break.

Wizards' Malcolm Brogdon: Leaves early with ankle sprain
Brogdon exited Wednesday's 134-130 overtime loss to the Pacers after sustaining a left ankle sprain, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.
Brogdon couldn't put any weight on his left leg as he was helped back to the locker room in the fourth quarter, but he's apparently avoided any structural damage to his ankle. He'll have nine days to recover before the Wizards' season resumes Feb. 21 against Milwaukee following the All-Star break. Brogdon logged 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-2 FT) and six assists across 15 minutes before exiting.

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Poor shooting in return
Sarr (ankle) posted nine points (3-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two blocks across 32 minutes in Wednesday's 134-130 overtime loss to Indiana.
Sarr made his first appearance since Jan. 27 after missing the Wizards' previous eight games with a left ankle sprain. Though the rough shooting from the field resulted in a disappointing stat line in his return, Sarr took back his spot in the starting five from Richaun Holmes and didn't seem to be operating under any restrictions in his return. While the non-contending Wizards could limit the playing time of veteran players in the second half of the season, Sarr won't be among that group, as the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft is viewed as a cornerstone in the team's rebuilding effort.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Surpasses 40-point mark in OT loss
Poole notched 42 points (15-29 FG, 6-15 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block over 41 minutes in Wednesday's 134-130 overtime loss to Indiana.
Poole did it all for Washington in Wednesday's high-scoring overtime contest, leading all players in scoring and threes made while recording a team-high-tying steals total and contributing a handful of rebounds and assists. Poole has been hot as of late, surpassing the 40-point mark in two of his last four outings. He has tallied 40 or more points in three contests this year, and on Wednesday he added at least five boards and five dimes for the first time.

Wizards' Corey Kispert: Shines off bench in OT defeat
Kispert finished with 21 points (8-10 FG, 5-6 3Pt) and four rebounds over 27 minutes in Wednesday's 134-130 overtime loss to Indiana.
Kispert was red-hot off the Wizards bench in Wednesday's extended contest, leading all bench players in scoring and threes made while nearly shooting a perfect mark from the field in a losing effort. Kispert, who was one of two Washington players with five or more threes, matched a season high in shots made from deep while posting his fifth outing of the year with 20 or more points.

Wizards' Malcolm Brogdon: Departs game with injury
Brogdon was helped back to the locker room in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's game against the Pacers due to a left leg injury, Varun Shankar of The Washington Post reports.
Brogdon couldn't put weight on his left foot as he was helped into the locker room, but specifics regarding the injury are unknown at this point. With the All-Star break looming, it wouldn't be surprising to see Brogdon held out for the remainder of the game. He tallied 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-2 FT) and six assists in 15 minutes prior to his departure.

Wizards' Justin Champagnie: Exits early after fall
Champagnie has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game against the Pacers due to a post-traumatic headache, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.
Champagnie took a hard fall earlier in Wednesday's game, which prompted the Wizards to rule him out for the rest of the evening. The Wizards haven't yet indicated that Champagnie has been placed in the concussion protocol. He'll have nine days to potentially move past the injury before the Wizards' next game, which comes Feb. 21 against Milwaukee. He went scoreless (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) with no other statistics in three minutes Wednesday before being ruled out.

Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Back to bench Wednesday
Holmes is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.
Alex Sarr is returning from an ankle injury Wednesday, pushing Holmes to the bench. Holmes has averaged 4.0 rebounds, 3.9 points, 0.8 assists and 0.5 blocks in 11.5 minutes over 12 games off the Wizards' bench this season.

Wizards' Jaylen Nowell: Returns from G League
The Wizards recalled Nowell from the G League's Capital City Go-Go on Wednesday.
Nowell will be available for Wednesday's game against the Pacers after suiting up for the Go-Go earlier in the day in the affiliate's 116-106 win over the Grand Rapids Gold. He played 36 minutes in the win, finishing with 23 points (9-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six assists, four rebounds and three blocks.

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Deemed available Wednesday
Sarr (ankle) is available for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.
Sarr has been upgraded from questionable to available and will make his first appearance since Jan. 27. The rookie will likely face restrictions given his lengthy layoff, and this is Washington's final contest before the All-Star break. Over his nine appearances before the ankle injury, Sarr averaged 11.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.6 blocks and 0.8 steals in 27.2 minutes per game.

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Questionable for Wednesday
Sarr (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.
After missing the last eight games for the Wizards with a left ankle sprain, Sarr might return to the floor Wednesday against Indiana. The rookie big man is averaging 11.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 blocks per game, shooting 39.7 percent and 30.7 percent from beyond the arc.

Wizards' Anthony Gill: Ruled out for Wednesday
Gill (ankle) is out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.
A sprained right ankle will cost Gill a third straight game Wednesday. His next chance to suit up for the Wizards arrives Feb. 21 against the Bucks following the All-Star break, giving Gill plenty of extra time to heal.

Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Puts up 17 points
Holmes notched 17 points (8-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and one block in 27 minutes during Monday's 131-121 loss to San Antonio.
Alex Sarr (ankle) has missed the past eight games for Washington, and it's unclear when he'll get the green light to return. Holmes scored a season-high 17 points in the loss. The 31-year-old big man is getting more attention as a viable streamer for the short term for the Wizards.

Wizards' Justin Champagnie: Offers spark off bench in loss
Champagnie finished Monday's 131-121 loss to the Spurs with 14 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block across 18 minutes.
Champagnie shifted back to Washington's bench in the return of rookie first-rounder Kyshawn George (ankle), but the move didn't stop him from turning in his highest scoring output since the Jan. 1 win over Chicago. Even so, Champagnie hasn't done enough overall to warrant much fantasy attention when he isn't able to function with the starters. Through 20 appearances from the second unit, the 23-year-old has averaged 5.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.6 steals in 11.9 minutes.
