  • Hawks' Caris LeVert: Sniffs triple-double off bench

LeVert closed Wednesday's 149-148 overtime loss to the Knicks with 20 points (8-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds, seven assists and three blocks in 35 minutes.

LeVert has played off the bench in his three outings with the Hawks since being traded in the deal that sent De'Andre Hunter to the Cavaliers, and there's no question this outing was his best performance by a wide margin. It's still early, but LeVert is averaging 15.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game as a bench option since moving to Atlanta should boost his fantasy upside considerably.

  • Hawks' Onyeka Okongwu: Fills stat sheet Wednesday

Okongwu racked up 21 points (9-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-8 FT), 14 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals over 41 minutes during Wednesday's 149-148 overtime loss to the Knicks.

Okongwu was coming off three straight subpar scoring performances following the 30-point output he displayed against the Spurs on Feb. 5. Still, he bounced back admirably here and notched a well-rounded performance in a high-scoring affair. Okongwu has been thriving since being promoted to a starting role, averaging 13.8 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.9 blocks per game across 14 contests since Jan. 20.

  • Hawks' Trae Young: Massive stat line in OT defeat

Young logged 38 points (11-29 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 12-14 FT), one rebound and 19 assists over 44 minutes during Wednesday's 149-148 overtime loss to New York.

Young didn't reach a new season-high mark in either points or assists, but the All-Star floor general notched an impressive stat line while ending just two points and one dime away from a 40-20 performance. Young's numbers in February have been elite, and he's backing up his All-Star nod by averaging 30.9 points, 12.3 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game across seven contests.

  • Hawks' Clint Capela: Late scratch Wednesday

Capela (back) will be inactive for Wednesday's game against the Knicks, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Head coach Quin Snyder says Capela is ramping up and will continue to do so through the All-Star break following an extended absence with back spasms, which surprisingly rules the veteran big man out Wednesday despite having been omitted from Atlanta's injury report. His next chance to play comes Feb. 20 against the Magic. Onyeka Okongwu will hang on to enhanced fantasy value for at least one more game, as he's averaged 13.7 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.8 blocks in 28.6 minutes over nine games with Capela unavailable this season.

  • Hawks' Larry Nance: To be re-evaluated in six weeks

Nance (knee) will have a non-displaced fracture in his right knee re-evaluated in six weeks.

After suffering a right knee injury in Tuesday's win against the Magic, Nance will miss a considerable amount of time with a non-displaced fracture. The veteran forward's injury will be re-evaluated in six weeks, and it could eventually result in him being ruled out for the season. The 31-year-old is averaging 8.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game for the Hawks while shooting a career-high 44.7 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: To be re-evaluated in four weeks

The Hawks announced Wednesday that Krejci (back) will be re-evaluated in 3-to-4 weeks.

After leaving Monday's game against the Magic, Krejci has been diagnosed with a non-displaced lumbar fracture and is facing an extended absence. Caris LeVert and Georges Niang are primed for expanded roles while Krejci recovers.

  • Hawks' Trae Young: Good to go against Knicks

Young (Achilles) is available for Wednesday's game against the Knicks.

As expected, the Hawks have upgraded Young from probable to available Wednesday due to right Achilles tendinitis. The superstar guard should be able to handle a normal workload against New York. Over his last six games, Young has averaged 29.7 points, 11.2 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 36.9 minutes.

  • Hawks' Clint Capela: Off injury report for Wednesday

Capela (personal) is off the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Knicks.

Capela has missed eight straight games due to a back injury and personal reasons, but he's set to be available for the Hawks on Wednesday. The veteran big man's return is bad news for the fantasy appeal of Onyeka Okongwu, who appears likely to shift back to Atlanta's second unit. Capela has averaged 9.8 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 21.0 minutes over his last nine games.

  • Hawks' Larry Nance: Ruled out for Wednesday

Nance (knee) won't play in Wednesday's game versus the Knicks.

Nance will miss Wednesday's contest after suffering a right knee injury Monday. The 31-year-old big man will have the entire All-Star break to recover before Atlanta returns to action against Orlando on Feb. 20.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Ruled out for Wednesday

Krejci (back) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Knicks, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.

Krejci sustained the lower back contusion on a hard fall in the fourth quarter of Monday's win over the Magic. The 24-year-old's next chance to play will come after the All-Star break against the Magic on Feb. 20. Caris LeVert and Terance Mann are candidates for an uptick in playing time with Krejci on the shelf.

  • Hawks' Trae Young: Likely to play vs. New York

Young (Achilles) is listed as probable for Wednesday's game against New York, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.

Young has played in the Hawks' last eight games despite being listed on the injury report due to right Achilles tendinopathy. It shouldn't prevent him from playing Wednesday, though Atlanta could opt to keep Young sidelined for the second leg of its back-to-back set Thursday against Orlando. Young has averaged 26.8 points, 10.8 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 5.8 turnovers over 36.0 minutes per game over his last eight outings while shooting just 29.6 percent from three on 10.1 3PA/G.

  • Hawks' Terance Mann: Chips in 12 points vs. Magic

Mann tallied 12 points (4-4 FG, 3-3 3PT, 1-1 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 15 minutes during Monday's 112-106 win over Orlando.

Mann made the most of his limited playing time Monday, converting on all four of his field-goal attempts to finish as the Hawks' third-leading scorer behind Trae Young (19) and Caris LeVert (18). Two games into his Atlanta tenure, Mann is looking to carve out a consistent role for himself off the bench.

  • Hawks' Caris LeVert: Strong effort off bench Monday

LeVert tallied 18 points (6-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds and two assists over 32 minutes during Monday's 112-106 win over Orlando.

LeVert finished Monday's game as the Hawks' second-leading scorer behind Trae Young (19); however, the former was Atlanta's most efficient offensive player in the contest. LeVert will likely be the Hawks' top option off the bench following the departures of De'Andre Hunter and Bogdan Bogdanovic at the trade deadline.

  • Hawks' Trae Young: Commits nine turnovers vs. Orlando

Young finished Monday's 112-106 win over the Magic with 19 points (6-17 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 6-7 FT), eight assists, five rebounds and one steal over 37 minutes.

Young helped the Hawks ice Monday's game in the fourth quarter, with 11 of his 19 points coming in the final frame. He did struggle offensively, missing all but one of his three-point attempts while committing nine turnovers for the fifth time this season. Young has turned the ball over at least five times in seven of his last nine outings, and over that span he has shot just 29.4 percent from three-point range on 9.4 3PA/G.

  • Hawks' Larry Nance: Won't return Monday

Nance has been ruled out for the rest of Monday's game versus Orlando due to a right knee injury.

Nance logged eight points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 19 minutes before exiting with 8:01 remaining in the fourth quarter after suffering the injury. His availability for Wednesday's game against the Knicks looks to be uncertain, potentially paving the way for the Hawks to reintegrate Clint Capela -- who was a healthy inactive Monday -- into the rotation as the backup to Onyeka Okongwu. If Nance is unavailable and if Capela remains inactive Wednesday, Dominick Barlow would presumably step in as Okongwu's primary understudy.
