White provided all of the club's offense from the ninth spot in the batting order, launching a three-run blast off Kyle Bradish in the second inning. The 32-year-old has drawn four straight starts, replacing the injured Ceddanne Rafaela (quadriceps), and is in the midst of a six-game hitting streak, tallying four extra-base hits and eight RBI during that stretch. For the year, he's slashing .246/.291/.404 with six homers, 28 RBI, 27 runs scored and five steals across 196 plate appearances with Atlanta and Boston.

Boston acquired White from Atlanta on Monday in exchange for right-hander Tyler Uberstine, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.
White has largely served as a short-side platoon player in the Atlanta outfield this season, slashing .233/.285/.406 with five home runs and four stolen bases across 144 plate appearances. He'll likely fill a similar role in Boston, where he could replace the left-handed-hitting Jarren Duran in left field when the Red Sox face left-handed pitchers. White is under team control through the 2028 season.

White produced all three of Atlanta's extra-base hits in the victory and was responsible for all but one of the team's runs. He began the scoring with an RBI double in the second inning and added a solo blast to left field in the fourth. Saturday marked White's second start in four games since Ronald Acuna (hamstring) landed on the IL. He made a spectacular catch to rob Max Muncy of an extra-base hit with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning, crashing face-first into the padded outfield wall. White temporarily remained in the contest but was then replaced by Mike Yastrzemski in the bottom of the eighth. White suffered the injury during Sunday's win over the Dodgers when he crashed into the outfield wall after making a catch. His timetable is uncertain, as it is when anyone is shelved by a concussion, but White will be out for the next week, at minimum.
