Snell (3-1) allowed five hits and two walks while striking out seven over six scoreless innings to earn the win over the Nationals on Friday.
Snell continues to excel -- he threw 65 of 100 pitches for strikes in this outing. He's earned quality starts in four of five games since he returned from an elbow procedure, and he's yet to allow more than one run in any of those outings. For the season, Snell has a 1.97 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 43:14 K:BB across 32 innings through six starts. He'll look to keep rolling in his next start, which is lined up to be at Miami, though he could be moved up to work in next week's home series against the Reds if the Dodgers temporarily reduce the rotation to five starters due to injuries.

Snell's long-awaited return from an elbow procedure was well worth the wait. He had pitched in just one other game this season after opening the year on the injured list due to a shoulder injury. He had loose bodies removed from his elbow after that May 9 start versus Atlanta. Assuming he can stay healthy, Snell is poised to be a big boost for the Dodgers' rotation and his fantasy managers' lineups down the stretch. He threw 84 pitches (55 strikes) in Tuesday's game, so he shouldn't be facing much in the way of a limitation heading into his next start, which is projected to be in Colorado early next week.

Snell (elbow) will return from the 60-day injured list to start Tuesday's game against the Royals in Los Angeles, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Snell will receive the green light to return to the Dodgers rotation after making four rehab starts in the minors, during which he posted a 3.09 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 19:5 K:BB across 11.2 innings. Although his final outing at Triple-A lasted just 3.2 frames, the 33-year-old southpaw managed to build up to 73 pitches, so the Dodgers may not place a significant restriction on his workload as he makes what will be just his second start in the majors this season.

Dodgers' Blake Snell: Ready to make next start in majors
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Wednesday that Snell (elbow) should be ready to return from the 60-day injured list to make his next start in the majors, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.
On the shelf since May 15 after he required a NanoScope procedure to remove loose bodies from his left elbow, Snell is poised to rejoin the Dodgers after he completed his fourth rehab start Tuesday at Triple-A Oklahoma City. After rolling to a 1.13 ERA, 0.60 WHIP and 16:1 K:BB in eight innings over his first three starts, Snell wasn't nearly as sharp Tuesday, as he surrendered three runs on five hits -- including two home runs -- and four walks while striking out three over 3.2 innings. On a positive note, Snell's elbow checked out fine coming out of the appearance, and he was able to push his pitch count up to 73 (41 strikes) despite not meeting his goal of covering five innings. He'll likely line up for a start Monday or Tuesday in Kansas City in what will be just his second appearance of the season for the Dodgers.

Snell (elbow) said Friday that he'll make one more rehab start at Triple-A Oklahoma City before returning from the injured list, Jack Harris of the California Post reports.
Snell was brilliant during his last minor-league start, striking out nine batters while pitching four scoreless innings at Single-A Ontario. He built up to 60 pitches during his appearance, and it seems like the Dodgers want to increase his workload a bit more before having him rejoin the active roster.
