Milton logged four points (2-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and three rebounds over 16 minutes during Thursday's 114-106 win over the Trail Blazers. Much like Dorian Finney-Smith, Milton hasn't made much of an impact in Los Angeles since being traded to the Lakers. In two games with his new team, he has shot 4-for-9 from the floor, scoring 10 points, grabbing five rebounds and recording zero assists.... See More ... See Less

Lakers' Shake Milton: Set for Lakers debut
Milton (recently traded) will make his debut with the Lakers against the Cavaliers on Monday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. After being traded to the Lakers recently, Milton is set to make his debut for Los Angeles on Monday. Milton could see a decent amount of minutes off the bench with his new team to help fill the void left by D'Angelo Russell, who heads to Brooklyn as result of the trade.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Shake Milton: Shipped to Lakers
The Lakers acquired Milton and forward Dorian Finney-Smith from the Nets on Sunday in exchange for guard D'Angelo Russell, forward Maxwell Lewis and three second-round picks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Milton had been playing well for the Nets, averaging 11.2 points, 3.1 assists, 2.7 rebounds, 1.4 three-pointers and 0.9 steals in 24.5 minutes across his past 15 appearances, including a 16-point, 12-assist double-double against the Spurs on Friday during his first start of the season. However, the veteran guard is looking at a reduced role in Los Angeles, as he'll likely compete with Gabe Vincent and Dalton Knecht for backup minutes behind Austin Reaves and Max Christie in the backcourt. Milton's first chance to make his Lakers debut will come Tuesday against the Cavaliers.... See More ... See Less -
Nets' Shake Milton: Posts double-double Friday
Milton notched 16 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, 12 assists and one steal in 34 minutes during Friday's 96-87 loss to the Spurs. Milton made his first start of the season Friday due to the absence of Ben Simmons (lower back injury management), and the journeyman responded by notching a double-double. The 12 dimes were a season-high mark for Milton, and the veteran is riding a solid stretch of play with double-digit points in five of his previous seven appearances, including a season-high 20-point output in the Dec. 26 win over the Bucks.... Nets' Shake Milton: Erupts for 20 points in win
Milton had 20 points (7-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds and one steal across 23 minutes during Thursday's 111-105 victory over Milwaukee. Milton delivered his second-highest mark in scoring of the season in an efficient outing Thursday. The 28-year-old has received an uptick in playing time of late, and over his last 10 appearances, he has averaged 10.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists across 22.9 minutes per contest.... Nets' Shake Milton: Invisible in loss
Milton closed with four points (1-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists and two steals over 19 minutes during Monday's 110-95 loss to the Heat. Milton had a nightmare showing in the loss after two straight games with double-digit points. Despite this dud, Milton is someone that deep-league fantasy managers will want to keep tabs on with the Nets rumored to be looking to unload Cameron Johnson and Dorian Finney-Smith (calf).... Nets' Shake Milton: Could see larger role
Milton supplied five points (2-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt), five rebounds and one assist over 17 minutes before fouling out of Monday's 130-101 loss to the Cavaliers. With Dennis Schroder now in Los Angeles, Milton moves up the depth chart by default and will have the opportunity to lock down the backup point guard minutes. He's played well in a limited role so far this season, hitting 45.5 percent from the field and 40.0 percent from beyond the arc with averages of 6.2 points, 2.0 assists, 1.8 rebounds, 0.5 steals and 0.9 three-pointers in 16.4 minutes per contest.... Nets' Shake Milton: Pops for 22 points in loss
Milton provided 22 points (7-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), two rebounds, four assists and one steal across 34 minutes during Friday's 123-100 loss to the Magic. Milton scored a season-high 22 points, playing at least 20 minutes for the fourth straight game. The Nets are dealing with a few injuries at the moment, presenting Milton with an unexpected opportunity. As long as they are running with limited backcourt resources, Milton could continue to play a meaningful role, albeit off the bench.... See More ... See Less -
Nets' Shake Milton: Plays 12 minutes in win
Milton had five points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and four rebounds over 12 minutes during Monday's 106-104 victory over the Grizzlies. Through seven appearances, this was Milton's third time seeing minutes in the double digits, with two of those outings coming when Ben Simmons (back/rest) was sidelined during a back-to-back set. Milton faces an uphill battle for playing time on a nightly basis, and he remains well off the fantasy radar in most formats for the foreseeable future.... See More ... See Less -
Nets' Shake Milton: Plays 17 minutes in loss
Milton finished with three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt), one rebound and two assists over 17 minutes during Friday's 116-101 loss to Orlando. Milton saw meaningful minutes yet failed to make any noise when it came to tangible production. Despite a somewhat fantasy-friendly game, it doesn't appear that Milton is going to be afforded a consistent role in Brooklyn. Should he step into a larger role at any point, he would be a name to watch. For now, he can be safely ignored across most formats.... See More ... See Less -
Nets' Shake Milton: Headed to Brooklyn
Milton signed a three-year, $9 million contract with the Knicks on Thursday before being shipped, along with Bojan Bogdanovic, to the Nets as part of the sign-and-trade that will send Mikal Bridges and Keita Bates-Diop (shin) to the Knicks, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. While the final two years of Milton's contract are non-guaranteed, he will have an opportunity to compete for backcourt minutes on a rebuilding Nets squad. In 2023-24, Milton averaged 4.5 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 12.1 minutes across 48 total appearances for the Pistons, Timberwolves and Knicks in the regular season.... See More ... Knicks' Shake Milton: Cracks rotation in blowout loss
Milton supplied three points (0-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), one rebound and one assist across 15 minutes during Sunday's 121-89 loss to the Pacers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Milton saw his first minutes of the postseason, playing the entire fourth quarter of what was an ugly loss. The series is now tied at 2-2, but the Pacers have all the momentum heading back to New York. Assuming Game 5 on Tuesday is tighter, don't expect to see Milton in the rotation.... See More ... Knicks' Shake Milton: Officially signs, available Tuesday
Milton officially signed with the Knicks and will be available against the Hawks on Tuesday, Stefan Bondy of the New York Post reports. Milton agreed to a buyout with the Pistons on Friday and needed to wait until he cleared waivers to join the Knicks. While he'll be available Tuesday, Milton isn't guaranteed playing time, though there'll be depth minutes available if Jalen Brunson (knee) is downgraded to out.... See More ... See Less -
Knicks' Shake Milton: Bound for New York
Milton plans to sign with the Knicks upon clearing waivers during the upcoming week, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Milton and the Pistons agreed to a contract buyout Friday, and it didn't take long for the guard to find a new home. Because that transaction happened before the Friday deadline, Milton will be eligible for the playoffs. He's likely in store for a limited role off the bench with the Knicks.... See More ... Shake Milton: Bought out by Detroit
Detroit and Milton agreed to a contract buyout Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. The two sides were able to complete the transaction prior to the deadline Friday, so Milton will be eligible to compete in the playoffs if he signs with a new team. He's expected to draw interest from several contenders, and it became apparent quickly that he was never a major part of Detroit's plans after being acquired from Minnesota at the trade deadline. In 42 appearances this season between the Pistons and Timberwolves, Milton has averaged 4.9 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 13.2 minutes per contest.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Shake Milton: Grabs season-high nine boards
Milton produced 13 points (4-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 22 minutes during Wednesday's 116-100 loss to the Suns. Milton continues to find his footing with Detroit after being moved at the trade deadline, leading all Pistons bench players in scoring while hauling in a team-high-tying rebound total and ending one rebound shy of a double-double. Milton set a season high in rebounds, surpassing his previous season high of six rebounds recorded in the first half of Detroit's back-to-back Tuesday. Milton has tallied at least 10 points in six games, his first game in double figures since posting 12 points Dec. 11 with Minnesota.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Shake Milton: Set to debut Saturday
Milton (recently traded) is available for Saturday's game versus the Clippers, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports. Milton is set to make his Detroit debut Saturday after being upgraded from questionable to available. However, it's unclear what role Milton will play with his new team.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Shake Milton: Questionable for Saturday
Milton (trade pending) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Clippers. The Pistons moved Monte Morris in exchange for Milton and Troy Brown, both of whom are questionable to make their debuts. Milton's path to playing time won't be much easier in Detroit, as Marcus Sasser has been playing really well for the Pistons.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Shake Milton: Strong from deep Friday
Milton finished with 17 points (6-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 22 minutes in Friday's 127-103 win over Memphis. Milton connected on a trio of threes while ending as one of seven Timberwolves with a double-digit point total in his highest scoring effort of the campaign. Milton has surpassed the 10-point mark in four contests this season, connecting on at least two threes in three outings.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Shake Milton: Sees 23 minutes Saturday
Milton produced six points (2-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, two assists and one steal in 23 minutes during Saturday's 123-117 win over the Hornets. Minnesota used an eight-man rotation Saturday in the absence of Anthony Edwards (hip), allowing Milton to match his highest workload of the season. Milton's role has been pretty minimal this campaign, as Nickeil Alexander-Walker's strong play has made it hard for Milton's fantasy value to surface.... See More ... See Less
