Warriors' Draymond Green: Steps up defensively
Green logged four points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals over 36 minutes during Sunday's 95-85 win over Houston in Game 1 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Green couldn't generate much on offense, but stepped up big time on the defensive end. During the regular season, Green appeared in 70 games with averages of 8.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.0 blocks and 1.1 three-pointers.

Warriors' Moses Moody: Muted performance in win
Moody amassed seven points (2-5 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 28 minutes during Sunday's 95-85 win over the Rockets in Game 1 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Game 1 against the Rockets was all about Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler for the Warriors, with the dynamic duo combining for 56 points to get the win. Unfortunately, Moody didn't make much of an impact during his 28 minutes on the floor as a starter, finishing with only seven points on 2-for-5 shooting.

Warriors' Brandin Podziemski: Plays supporting role in win
Podziemski produced 14 points (5-13 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and two steals in 35 minutes during Sunday's 95-85 win over the Rockets in Game 1 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
The second-year guard was the only Warrior to score in double digits other than Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler, although the latter two combined for 56 points. Podziemski's defense was also a big factor in the Rockets being held to 39.1 percent shooting from the floor and a woeful 20.7 percent from three-point range. Podziemski has recorded multiple steals in four straight appearances, and through 10 games in April he's averaging 15.6 points, 6.1 boards, 4.0 assists, 2.9 threes and 1.3 steals.

Butler and Stephen Curry combined for 56 points, while the Warriors' defense held the Rockets to 39.1 percent shooting from the floor and a woeful 20.7 percent from beyond the arc in the victory. Butler has stepped up at the right time for Golden State, scoring at least 24 points in five straight games while averaging 29.0 points, 7.0 assists, 4.8 boards, 2.6 steals and 1.2 threes and shooting 58.4 percent from the floor.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Strong line in 22 minutes
Post amassed 11 points (4-5 FG, 3-4 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists and one steal across 22 minutes during Tuesday's 121-116 Play-In Game win over Memphis.
This was Post's largest workload since March 22, but, notably, coach Steve Kerr trusted him in his first taste of the playoffs. Post is the preferred backup big these days, and Jonathan Kuminga has been buried on the depth chart as a result.
