Laferriere scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Kraken.
The Kings were missing Anze Kopitar (rest) and Quinton Byfield (upper body) for this contest, so Laferriere moved over to center. He did fine, winning 10 of 21 faceoffs while adding a goal late in the second period. The natural winger has three goals and four assists over his last six outings. Overall, the 23-year-old has produced 19 goals, 42 points, 190 shots on net, 124 hits and a plus-23 rating over 76 appearances as a middle-six power forward in his second NHL campaign.

Kings' Alex Laferriere: Continues to impress
Laferriere had a goal and two assists in a 5-4 win over the Avalanche on Saturday.
It was Laferriere's first NHL three-point game, and he's up to six points (two goals, four assists) across his four-game scoring streak. The points pushed him past the 40-point mark (18 goals, 23 assists; 74 games) after finishing 2023-24 with 23 (12 goals, 11 assists; 81 appearances). Laferriere scored the Kings' lone goal Saturday in a 3-1 loss to the Maple Leafs. He had six shots.
Laferriere opened the scoring in the second period. He built up speed off the rush and blew past defender Simon Benoit wide before cutting back around the right circle to score on a backhand from the top of the crease. It was Laferriere's first goal in 18 games (three assists). His game continues to develop and grow. He has already established new career marks in goals (16), assists (19), points (35), shots (167), game-winning goals (four) and blocks (37). Laferriere is a couple of games from also setting a new career mark in hits (108; career-high 113).

Laferriere set up Kevin Fiala for a tally late in the third period. Offense has been elusive for Laferriere -- since his Feb. 22 goal against Utah, he's played in 14 contests, drawing just two assists with 31 shots on net, 18 hits, 14 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating. He doesn't appear to be at risk of losing his place in the lineup, but his ice time has started to dip during the extended stretch of low-scoring play. Laferriere had missed four games due to an upper-body injury and went five contests without a point prior to the absence. The 23-year-old winger returned to a third-line role but saw 17:11 of ice time Saturday. He was fantastic early in the campaign, and while Laferriere's production has slowed in the middle section, he's still at 13 goals, 14 assists and a plus-11 rating through 42 contests, surpassing his totals in those areas from his 81-game rookie campaign in 2023-24. He's added 93 shots on net and 75 hits in 2024-25, providing a little grit down the lineup.

He's added 81 shots, 67 hits and a plus-9 rating to offer well-rounded production for fantasy managers while playing in a middle-six role.
