Korpisalo was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, according to Eric Russo of the Bruins' official site, indicating he will patrol the home crease Tuesday versus Detroit.

It was Korpisalo's second shutout of the season and second this month. He shut out Philly in a 3-0 win Nov. 2. Korpisalo has been quietly effective since his ugly debut in black and gold Oct. 8 when he allowed four goals in the first period and six overall in a loss to Florida. Strip that out, and he has a 1.82 GAA and .928 save percentage (and two shutouts) in seven games. Korpisalo is a sharp daily play when he's in the twine tent.

Boston wasted a strong performance from Korpisalo. He made a 10-bell save late in the first period on a 3-on-1 shot from Brayden Schenn that kept the score 2-1 for the Bruins. His teammates struggled to contain the Blues' third line, as the trio scored two goals and combined for five points in regulation.
