  • Rangers' Nathaniel Lowe: Swipes rare bag

Lowe went 0-for-2 with two walks, a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Royals.

The first baseman remains stuck in a 32-game power drought -- he launched his last home run May 14 -- but Lowe found a way to contribute. The steal was his second of the season, and while he did pilfer a career-high eight bags in 2021, he's managed only five stolen bases in 373 games since then. Lowe is slashing .214/.294/.262 during his homerless streak with just five doubles, nine RBI and nine runs.

  • Rangers' Nathaniel Lowe: Knocks three hits

Lowe went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Friday's win over Kansas City.

Lowe did most of his damage in the sixth inning when he hit a ground-rule double and came around to score the go-ahead run. He entered Friday's game in an 8-for-42 (.190) slump over 12 appearances since his last multi-hit performance June 5. He hit .343 through 18 games to begin his 2024 campaign but has since gone 25-for-118 (.212). For the season, Lowe is slashing .259/.352/.346 with 12 extra-base hits and 21 runs scored.

  • Rangers' Nathaniel Lowe: In lineup against lefty

Lowe started at first base and went 1-for-4 in Tuesday's 15-2 loss to the Dodgers.

Lowe, who had been held out of the starting lineup against the previous three left-handed starters the Rangers faced, was in the starting nine against lefty James Paxton. In those previous three games, Ezequiel Duran started at first base, but he was used at shortstop while Josh Smith was given a break and Corey Seager (hamstring) was unavailable. It's unclear if Lowe's start Tuesday signals that he's back in against lefties, or if it was a special case to give Smith a rest day.

  • Rangers' Nathaniel Lowe: Delivers lone run

Lowe went 0-for-2 with a walk, a sacrifice fly and an RBI in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Giants.

Lowe delivered the Rangers' lone run with a sacrifice fly in the first inning. It was just his fifth RBI over the last 17 games. The slumping first baseman was recently removed from starting lineups against left-handers and is batting .207 (12-for-58) over the last 19 contests.

  • Rangers' Nathaniel Lowe: Returns against righty

Lowe started at first base and went 1-for-2 with a walk in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Tigers.

Lowe returned to the starting lineup against a right-hander following three consecutive games on the bench against a lefty. He was eventually removed for pinch hitter Robbie Grossman in the ninth inning against a left-hander. Lowe's line against southpaws in 2024 is down from his career standard -- .619 OPS this season compared to .761 for his career -- but that's still better than the alternative. Ezequiel Duran, who started at first base while Lowe was benched, owns a .604 OPS against lefties in 2024.

  • Rangers' Nathaniel Lowe: Losing work against lefties

Lowe is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers.

Though Lowe owns a 113 wRC+ against left-handers for his career, he's struggled to maintain that level of effectiveness in those matchups so far this season. Over 55 plate appearances versus lefties in 2024, Lowe is slashing .250/.327/.292 (80 wRC+). At least for the time being, manager Bruce Bochy is seemingly viewing Lowe as a platoon player. The first baseman is on the bench for the third game in a row, with the Rangers facing lefties in each of those contests.

  • Rangers' Nathaniel Lowe: Idle against lefty again

Lowe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

The lefty-hitting Lowe will remain on the bench for the second day in a row while the Rangers oppose another left-handed starter (Trevor Rogers). The Rangers will turn to Ezequiel Duran to replace Lowe at first base.

  • Rangers' Nathaniel Lowe: Drives in two in win

Lowe went 2-for-4 with two RBI in Sunday's 6-2 win over Minnesota.

Lowe had a pair of run-producing singles, his first multi-hit game since May 8. The first baseman entered Sunday with just six hits over the last 49 at-bats (.122). That slump prompted manager Bruce Bochy to drop Lowe to sixth in order against right-handers this past week.

  • Rangers' Nathaniel Lowe: Makes impact late in win

Lowe went 0-for-4 with two RBI in Saturday's 3-2 extra-innings win over the Angels.

Lowe, who is hitless over his last 13 at-bats, was the late-game hero for the Rangers. He set up extra innings with an run-producing, eighth-inning sacrifice fly, then Lowe was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 13th for the walk-off win. The two RBI give him 14 over 26 games.

  • Rangers' Nathaniel Lowe: On base four times in win

Lowe went 2-for-4 with two walks, a double, two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 15-8 win over Oakland.

Lowe, who has yet to have a day off since returning from an oblique injury in mid-April, has reached base safely 15 times in 16 games. The first baseman leads the team with a .429 on-base percentage and possesses a career-high walk rate of 15.7 percent.

  • Rangers' Nathaniel Lowe: Racks up four hits Saturday

Lowe went 4-for-6 with a double, two runs and two RBI against the Royals in Saturday's 15-4 victory.

The Rangers pounded Kansas City pitching for 17 hits in the win, and Lowe was a big contributor from the No. 3 slot in the lineup with a season-high four base knocks. The first baseman began the campaign on the injured list due to a right oblique strain, but he's slid into Texas' offense comfortably since returning, reaching base safely via hit or walk in all but one of his 13 contests. Lowe is slashing .333/.418/.458 with a home run, nine runs, four RBI and a stolen base through 55 plate appearances.

  • Rangers' Nathaniel Lowe: Two hit in win

Lowe went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Reds.

Lowe, batting third in the order for the fifth straight game, singled in the first inning and scored on Adolis Garcia's two-run home run. The first baseman has reached base safely in all eight games since returning from a season-opening stint on the injured list due to an oblique injury. Lowe is batting .310/.375/.448 with two extra-base hits, one RBI and five runs scored.
