    Analysis

    I'm betting on the Pirates to avoid the three game sweep at home against the best team in baseball and I have a good reason why. Kyle Harrison, Milwaukee's starting pitcher is incredible at American Family Field, with a 1.89 in 12 appearances there. But on the road, it's another story. Harrison has a 6.20 ERA away from home and has given up at least three earned runs in 5 of his last 6 outside of Milwaukee. With Pittsburgh striving to end up above .500 (they're two games below right now), I think they go all out to try and win this series finale on Thursday afternoon.

    Analysis

    Kyle Harrison is pitching to a seven ERA in the second half of the season and allowing a boatload of runs across his last three starts. Last time out he was so bad he was pulled before even recording an out, but of course that is a major outlier. Still, he has done nothing but struggle lately, and Chad Patrick is rested and ready to go here today behind the lefty. There is no official news so Harrison should be seeing a normal starter's workload, but with how bad he's been running and this game being on the road where he's been worse all season, I'm taking a shot that he can't (or they don't push him to) complete the full five innings here.

    Analysis

    I do so well with alt numbers it seems, and this is clearly one for the F5 total. Not sure I've seen a 6.5 F5 outside of Sacramento or Denver this year, so on principle have to do it. Two meh primary pitchers, but both sides are resting a big bat or two -- no Mookie Betts or Will Smith for the Dodgers.

    Analysis

    The Rockies won Tuesday, so we don't have to worry about "the Padres' winning streak has to end at some point" here, and San Diego bounced back Wednesday. The pitching matchup also heavily favors the much better team, with Michael King facing Colorado and the Rockies sending Tanner Gordon, who has a 6.35 career ERA at Coors Field.

    We're hopping on the Jackson Merrill train once again at Coors Field on Thursday. After another three hit game on Wednesday, Merrill has now hit this total bases prop in seven straight games and 8 of his last 9 contests. Against Rockies starter Tanner Gordon, Merrill has a home run among his five at-bats. Look for another big day from the Padres centerfielder as San Diego inches closer to a National League Wild Card berth.
