Noel was a standout at the Texans' mandatory minicamp, Jared Koch of SI.com reports.

Noel reportedly connected with quarterback C.J. Stroud for multiple touchdowns during team drills at mandatory minicamp, which took place from June 9-11. The 2025 third-rounder displayed impressive versatility as a rookie, suiting up for all 17 regular-season games while compiling a 26-292-2 receiving line (on 35 targets), rushing six times for 12 yards, and racking up 799 kick-return yards and 335 yards on punt returns. He enters Year 2 competing with Tank Dell (knee) and Xavier Hutchinson for receiver reps behind Nico Collins and Jayden Higgins, with Koch reporting that Noel currently appears to be in the lead for the No. 3 role.

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Lands on IL with hamate fracture
    6m ago

The Guardians placed Ramirez (hand) on the 10-day injured list Sunday, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

Ramirez's move to the IL was a foregone conclusion after the Guardians revealed following Saturday's 3-1 win over the Tigers that the seven-time All-Star was diagnosed with a left hamate bone fracture after suffering the injury on a swing in the fifth inning. Cleveland reinstated Gabriel Arias (wrist) from the 60-day IL in a corresponding move, and he and Daniel Schneemann are likely to serve as the primary replacements at third base while Ramirez is sidelined. The Guardians haven't provided an official target date for Ramirez's return, but recovery timelines for hamate bone fractures typically range from 4-to-8 weeks. With that in mind, Ramirez would seem likely to remain out through at least the All-Star break in mid-July.

Shamet re-entered Saturday's 94-90 win over the Spurs in Game 5 of the NBA Finals with 26 seconds remaining after exiting the contest with 7:54 left in the fourth quarter due to an apparent leg injury.

Shamet was hobbled after a hard fall to the court and made a trip to the locker room to be evaluated, but he returned to the New York bench shortly thereafter and was able to get back on the court for two brief shifts at the end of the game. The veteran guard finished Saturday's contest with five points (2-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt) and one rebound in 13 minutes. Overall, Shamet averaged 6.0 points, 1.5 three-pointers, 1.1 rebounds and 0.7 assists while shooting 45.3 percent from the field and 47.5 percent from downtown in 16.3 minutes per game while playing in all 19 of the Knicks' playoff games.

He appeared in a career-high 26 games at the NBA level, averaging 5.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 13.4 minutes per contest. Liddell is scheduled to become a restricted free agent when the new league year begins July 1, but the Nets will presumably decline his qualifying offer to allow him to continue his career in Greece.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Shines bright in season-ending loss
    4h ago

Harper finished with 25 points (10-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-6 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one block over 31 minutes during Saturday's 94-90 loss to New York in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Harper turned in another dynamic performance, leading the Spurs with 25 points off the bench. It was his second straight performance with at least 21 points, bringing to an end what was an impressive rookie campaign. After a solid regular season, Harper was able to increase his role during the postseason, averaging 14.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 three-pointers in 26.8 minutes per game, through 23 appearances. Looking ahead to next season, it wouldn't be surprising to see Harper carve out a 30-minute per-night role, either off the bench or as a starter.

Spurs' Stephon Castle: Goes missing in Game 5 loss
    4h ago

Castle registered six points (1-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one steal over 32 minutes during Saturday's 94-90 loss to the Knicks in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Castle was nowhere to be seen, particularly on the offensive end, where he scored a career playoff-low six points. It highlighted the fact that San Antonio was running with a highly inexperienced lineup, although one that will certainly be better for the loss. It was an unfortunate end to what was a dynamic postseason for the sophomore, averaging 18.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.5 three-pointers through 23 appearances.

Hart closed his season with another double-double, helping New York to its first championship since 1973. Although his scoring was, unsurprisingly, inconsistent, Hart's impact was certainly a major factor for the Knicks throughout the playoffs. In 19 postseason appearances, he averaged 10.4 points, 8.9 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.5 three-pointers in 32.3 minutes per contest.

Towns provided two points (1-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt), 10 rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals across 23 minutes before fouling out of Saturday's 94-90 victory over San Antonio in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Towns saved his worst for last, at least from a scoring perspective. He picked up his fourth foul early in the third quarter, ultimately limiting him to just 23 minutes. Despite his offensive struggles, New York once again came from behind, securing another impressive road victory. The win sees New York land its first NBA title since 1973, and with it a place in history. While it was certainly a rough night for Towns, he finished the postseason with averages of 15.9 points, 10.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.4 three-pointers and 2.6 combined steals and blocks.

Although Hart has been strong in the 2026 playoffs with a 14-7 record, 2.59 GAA and .907 save percentage in 21 outings, he's surrendered four goals in each game of the finals. However, Tortorella feels the issue is that the team in front of Hart needs to play better. The Golden Knights are down 3-2 in the series, so they need to win to force a Game 7 on Wednesday.
