Matt Lauter BOISE TE
Matt Lauter: Let go by Vegas
12h agoLauter was waived by the Raiders on Saturday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
Lauter joined the Raiders as an undrafted free agent Thursday and was let go just two days later. He had a productive collegiate career at Boise State, so he could get another chance around the league.
-
Charles Snowden LV DE
Charles Snowden: Let go by Raiders
12h agoSnowden was waived by the Raiders on Saturday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
This is a surprising move from the Raiders, as Snowden had played over 320 defensive snaps in each of the last two seasons. He combined to record 4.5 sacks with one interception in that span, so it likely won't take long for him to find a new opportunity around the league.

Patrick Mahomes KC QB
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Expected to participate in OTAs
14h agoMahomes (knee) is expected to participate in Kansas City's OTAs, beginning May 26, Nate Taylor of ESPN reports.
Mahomes was present for the team's voluntary workouts in April but was still limited solely to rehabbing his surgically repaired ACL and LCL. He'll now progress to the next step in his rehab, as he'll participate in at least some capacity with his teammates during the team's voluntary offseason workouts. While that's a positive step, coach Andy Reid did acknowledge that Mahomes will remain limited. Both Mahomes and the Chiefs continue to publicly state that the goal is for Mahomes to be ready to suit up in Week 1.

Dawand Jones CLE OT
Browns' Dawand Jones: Restructures contract
15h agoJones (knee) has restructured his contract for the 2026 season to receive $1.5 million, including $1.145 million in guaranteed money, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Jones was originally slated to make $3.7 million, but his salary will be slashed by more than half. He played only three games in 2025 before tearing his LCL, but he should be ready to begin the 2026 campaign.
-
Max Tomczak 2005 WR
Bills' Max Tomczak: Signs deal with Bills
16h agoTomczak signed with the Bills as an undrafted free agent on April 25, Ryan Talbot of Syracuse.com reports.
Tomczak set a number of records at Youngstown State during his collegiate career, racking up 225 receptions and at least one catch in 46 consecutive games. He'll have to prove he can reliably separate from coverage as a pro, but he's worth noting due to his strong collegiate production.
-
Jameson Geers MINN TE
Cardinals' Jameson Geers: Gets opportunity with Arizona
16h agoGeers signed with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent Monday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Geers played his entire collegiate career with Minnesota and recorded a total of 58 receptions for 518 yards and nine touchdowns. He improved his blocking skills throughout college and is considered a reliable pass catcher, making it possible that he'll compete for a roster spot during training camp.

Brayan Bello BOS SP
Red Sox's Brayan Bello: Could work behind opener Tuesday
5m agoBello is scheduled to make his next turn through the rotation Tuesday in Detroit, but interim manager Chad Tracy acknowledged that the right-hander could work behind an opener, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.
Tracy noted that he's already met with Bello to discuss the idea of using him out of the bullpen, something that the 26-year-old has done on just three occasions since reaching the majors in 2022. Regardless of how the Red Sox elect to use him Tuesday, Bello may need to show improve results to ensure he maintains his spot in the rotation moving forward. Over his last three starts, Bello has gone 0-3 with a 13.09 ERA, 2.73 WHIP and 8:6 K:BB across 11 innings.

Justin Crawford PHI CF
Phillies' Justin Crawford: Good to go Sunday
8m agoCrawford (head) is starting in center field and batting ninth Sunday against the Marlins, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Crawford was scratched from the lineup Saturday due to a migraine but is ready to go for Sunday's series finale in Miami. The rookie outfielder is in the midst of a modest five-game hit streak, during which he is batting .350 (7-for-20) with a double, a triple, a steal, three RBI and one run.
-
Trevor Story BOS SS
Red Sox's Trevor Story: Receiving Sunday off
10m agoStory is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.
Story will receive his second consecutive Sunday off after he started in each of the Red Sox's last five games while going 5-for-19 with a double, a walk and an RBI. Andruw Monasterio will fill in for Story at shortstop and will bat fifth.
-
Brandon Marsh PHI CF
Phillies' Brandon Marsh: Rejoining lineup Sunday
16m agoMarsh (elbow) is starting in right field and batting fifth Sunday against the Marlins, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
The 28-year-old outfielder was held out of Saturday's lineup after sustaining an elbow bruise in Friday's contest, but he'll return to action Sunday after missing just one game. Marsh has four homers and three steals with an .810 OPS through 109 plate appearances this season, but he's been especially productive over his past 10 games with a .382/.405/.618 slash line.
-
Yainer Diaz HOU C
Astros' Yainer Diaz: Receiving afternoon off
17m agoDiaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.
Diaz will receive a routine day off after he had started behind the plate or at designated hitter in each of the Astros' last five games. Christian Vazquez will handle catching duties in the series finale in Boston.
-
Yandy Diaz TB 1B
Rays' Yandy Diaz: Absence continuing Sunday
21m agoDiaz (side) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.
Diaz is sitting Sunday for a second straight contest after exiting Friday's game due to tightness in his left side. Jonathan Aranda is receiving a turn at designated hitter in Diaz's place, which opens up first base for Ryan Vilade.
-
Brandon Ingram TOR SF
Raptors' Brandon Ingram: Wears walking boot in shootaround
1h agoIngram (heel) was in a walking boot during morning shootaround ahead of Sunday's Game 7 against the Cavaliers, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Ingram has been hampered by inflammation in his right heel, which limited him to just 11 minutes in Game 5 and sidelined him entirely for Game 6. The veteran forward is considered questionable for Game 7, but he would need to pass several tests during pregame warmups in order to be cleared to play. If Ingram is ruled out, then Jamal Shead would likely stay in the Raptors' starting five.
-
Derrick White BOS SG
Celtics' Derrick White: Too little, too late in loss
12h agoWhite recorded 26 points (9-26 FG, 5-16 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, four assists and three blocks in 45 minutes during Saturday's 109-100 loss to Philadelphia in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
White had easily his most productive game of the postseason, albeit in a losing effort. Despite continuing to struggle with his shot, he scored at least 20 points for the first time in the playoffs and for the first time since mid-March. Saturday's Game 7 loss brings down the curtain on a disappointing end to the season for the Celtics, who had a 3-1 series lead. Across 77 regular-season appearances, White averaged 16.5 points, 5.4 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 2.4 combined steals-plus-blocks in 34.1 minutes per tilt.
-
Neemias Queta BOS C
Celtics' Neemias Queta: Double-doubles off bench
12h agoQueta posted 17 points (7-8 FG, 3-3 FT), 12 rebounds and one assist over 33 minutes during Saturday's 109-100 loss to the 76ers in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Queta moved back to the bench, although he still managed to log a series-high 33 minutes. While it was a breakout season for the big man, he was outplayed by Joel Embiid over the final four games of the series, when Embiid averaged 28.0 points and 9.0 rebounds. Looking ahead, Boston has some decisions to make regarding its frontcourt. Queta is seemingly the leading option at center, but that could change if the organization opts to go in another direction. He put up several career-high numbers in the regular season, during which he averaged 10.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.3 blocks and 0.8 steals in 25.3 minutes per game across 76 outings (75 starts).
-
Luka Garza BOS PF
Celtics' Luka Garza: Goes scoreless in spot start
12h agoGarza produced zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and one block in nine minutes during Saturday's 109-100 loss to the 76ers in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Garza was elevated into the starting lineup, presumably to deal with the size of Joel Embiid. Although it may have made sense on the surface, Garza was simply no match for Embiid on either end of the floor and ended up playing just nine minutes. The Game 7 loss closes out what was an indifferent season for Garza. While he was mostly a part of the rotation, his role fluctuated and his playing time was typically reliant on the availability of either Neemias Queta or Nikola Vucevic. Across 69 regular-season appearances (six starts), Garza averaged 8.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 16.2 minutes per contest.
-
Tyrese Maxey PHI PG
76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Goes for 30 and 11 in Game 7 win
12h agoMaxey provided 30 points (11-18 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 11 rebounds and seven assists across 45 minutes during Saturday's 109-100 victory over Boston in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Maxey put a bow on what was an elite first-round series, scoring at least 30 points for the second straight game while also pulling down a season-high 11 rebounds. He averaged 26.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.3 three-pointers in the series. Heading into the second round against New York, Maxey may need to take his game to yet another level, especially if Joel Embiid is limited due to a knee concern stemming from Game 7.
-
VJ Edgecombe PHI SG
76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Strong performance in closeout win
12h agoEdgecombe contributed 23 points (8-17 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and four assists over 44 minutes during Saturday's 109-100 victory over Boston in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Edgecombe helped put an end to Boston's season, adding to what has already been an impressive rookie season. It was the first time Philadelphia has been able to rally from a 3-1 series deficit, and doing so against Boston made it that much sweeter. In his first seven postseason appearances, Edgecombe averaged 15.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.1 three-pointers in a whopping 38.4 minutes per game.
-
Andrei Vasilevskiy TB G
Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Set for Game 7 start
16m agoVasilevskiy is expected to patrol the home crease in Game 7 against Montreal on Sunday, per Sports TV host Julie Stewart-Binks.
Vasilevskiy is coming off a 30-save performance in Friday's 1-0 overtime win over the Canadiens in Game 6. He has surrendered 14 goals on 147 shots en route to a 3-3 record this postseason. The winner of Sunday's matchup between Tampa Bay and Montreal will visit Buffalo on Wednesday in Game 1 of the second round of the playoffs.
-
Viktor Arvidsson BOS LW
Bruins' Viktor Arvidsson: Had fractured rib, punctured lung
1h agoArvidsson suffered a fractured rib and a punctured lung during the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Amalie Benjamin of NHL.com reports Sunday.
Arvidsson sat out the final two games of Boston's first-round series loss to Buffalo. However, he would've been a possibility for Game 7 had the Bruins avoided elimination at the hands of the Sabres on Friday. Buffalo emerged victorious in Game 6, so Arvidsson will have the summer to recover, and he should be ready for training camp in the fall.
-
Isak Posch COL G
Avalanche's Isak Posch: Summoned from AHL
2h agoPosch was recalled from AHL Colorado on Saturday.
Posch will serve as the third goaltender for the Avalanche in the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs behind Scott Wedgewood and Mackenzie Blackwood. The 24-year-old Posch posted a 15-8-5 record with a 2.78 GAA and an .891 save percentage in 28 regular-season appearances for AHL Colorado in 2025-26.
-
Mike Reilly CAR D
Hurricanes' Mike Reilly: Dishes pair of helpers
12h agoReilly had two assists, two PIM and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Flyers in Game 1 of the second round.
Reilly didn't feature during the first-round series versus the Senators, but he filled in Saturday for Alexander Nikishin (concussion). The 32-year-old Reilly played in the final four games of the regular season, but these helpers were his first points since his March 14 assist against the Lightning. He had nine points over 42 regular-season appearances, and in his career prior to this year, he had picked up just six points over 21 postseason outings across four campaigns.
-
Jackson Blake CAR RW
Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Goal, assist in win
12h agoBlake scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist, added 12 PIM, logged three hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Flyers in Game 1 of the second round.
Blake has gotten on the scoresheet in four of the Hurricanes' five playoff games. He has two goals, four assists, 10 shots on net, five hits, 16 PIM and a plus-5 rating this postseason. Blake's offense is stronger than his non-scoring production, and he'll continue to offer plenty of upside as long as he stays on the second line with the red-hot Logan Stankoven.
-
Logan Stankoven CAR C
Hurricanes' Logan Stankoven: Scores twice to lead offense in win
12h agoStankoven scored two goals on five shots and went plus-3 in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Flyers in Game 1 of the second round.
Stankoven opened the scoring just 1:31 into the game and added another tally in the second period. The 23-year-old's point streak is up to 13 games in total, and he's racked up 13 goals and five assists in that span, which dates back to March 31. Stankoven has earned six goals and a helper over five playoff contests, and his line with Jackson Blake and Taylor Hall continues to lead the charge for the Hurricanes' offense.
