  • Rangers' Michael Lorenzen: Takes no-decision Monday

Lorenzen allowed two runs on five hits and one walk while striking out five batters over five-plus innings in a no-decision against Milwaukee on Monday.

Lorenzen fared relatively well in the outing, though he was pulled after allowing a leadoff double in the sixth inning having racked up 91 pitches. It was a relatively rare occurrence for the right-hander to get the hook that early -- coming into Monday, he had completed at least six frames in 10 of his 12 starts. Beyond eating up innings, Lorenzen has pitched quite effectively throughout the campaign, accumulating a 3.04 ERA and 1.16 WHIP despite a mediocre 55:31 K:BB through 77 frames.

  • Rangers' Michael Lorenzen: Collects another quality start

Lorenzen did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Mets, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out three.

The veteran right-hander posted his sixth quality start in his last seven outings with this performance. Over that span dating back to May 13, Lorenzen has pitched to a 1.88 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 27:16 K:BB in 43 innings. He'll look to keep his stellar work going in his next start, tentatively slated to come against the Brewers on the road.

  • Rangers' Michael Lorenzen: Strong over seven innings

Lorenzen (4-3) picked up the win over the Dodgers on Thursday, allowing one run on four hits and one walk over seven innings. He struck out two.

Lorenzen kept the Dodgers' offense at bay for most of the contest and allowed only one extra-base hit on the night, a solo shot off the bat of Andy Pages in the seventh inning. The right-hander was able to get through seven frames for just the second time this season while logging his second win in his last three starts. It also marked the first time in Lorenzen's last eight starts that he didn't walk multiple batters. On the downside, he's posted just a 3:3 K:BB over his last two outings.
