  • Raiders' Marcus Epps: Shifts to IR

The Raiders placed Epps (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday.

Epps is out for the season due to a torn ACL sustained during Sunday's loss to the Panthers. He suited up for all 17 of Las Vegas' regular-season games in 2023, recording 66 total tackles and three passes defended. The 28-year-old operated as an every-down player for the Raiders in his three 2024 appearances and racked up 19 tackles (16 solo). Epps is slated to hit free agency come March.

  • Raiders' Marcus Epps: Done for the season

Epps suffered a torn ACL during Sunday's loss to the Panthers, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Epps' injury is as severe as feared, and the Wyoming product will miss the remainder of the 2024 season after tearing his ACL. The 28-year-old safety is set to be a free agent in March after recording 66 total tackles and three passes defended across Las Vegas' 17 regular-season games in 2023. Expect second-year pro Chris Smith to see more work with the Raiders' first-team defense with Epps sidelined for the remainder of the season.

  • Raiders' Marcus Epps: Ruled out Sunday

Epps (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Panthers.

The starting safety made 10 tackles, including one for a loss, before leaving the contest. Epps and the Raiders' defense struggled against the Andy Dalton-led Panthers, allowing more than 400 yards of total offense and more than 30 points. Chris Smith is the next man up at strong safety.

  • Raiders' Marcus Epps: Avoids injury report

Epps (neck) was not listed on the Raiders' injury report Wednesday.

Epps sustained a neck injury in Week 12 against the Chiefs and finished the game with two tackles (one solo). The bye week appears to have allowed Epps to recover from the stinger and he's on track to play Sunday against the Vikings. In 12 games this season, he's recorded 47 tackles (32 solo), one pass deflection and a fumble recovery.

  • Raiders' Marcus Epps: Leaves with injury

Epps (neck) has exited Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

Epps was questionable for the game after he suffered a neck stinger in Week 11, but he nonetheless was active and suited up. However, it appears the Wyoming product aggravated the injury and is now questionable to return.

  • Raiders' Marcus Epps: Will play Sunday

Epps (neck) is active for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

Epps was knocked out of last week's loss the Dolphins with a neck injury. He was a limited participant in all three practices this week and will start at strong safety alongside Tre'von Moehrig. Epps has 45 tackles (31 solo) and a fumble recovery in 11 games this season.

  • Raiders' Marcus Epps: Deemed questionable for Week 12

Epps (neck) is officially questionable to play against Kansas City on Sunday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.

Epps suffered a stinger in last Sunday's loss to Miami and didn't play at all in the second half. He logged a trio of limited practice sessions during Week 12 prep, leaving his status for Sunday up in the air. Isaiah Pola-Mao replaced Epps against the Dolphins last weekend and would presumably start against the Chiefs if Epps is unable to suit up.
