  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Loses crucial fumble

Tracy rushed the ball 18 times for 103 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-17 overtime loss to the Panthers. He added one reception on two targets for one yard. Tracy maintained his lead in the Giants' backfield and recorded his third 100-yard rushing game of the season. The performance was highlighted by an impressive 32-yard touchdown scamper, during which Tracy cut back and streaked through a hole in the middle of the field to reach the end zone for the third time in the campaign. Unfortunately for him, his production was overshadowed by a lost fumble early in overtime that set up the game-winning field goal for Carolina. Despite the temporary setback, Tracy should remain the team's lead back in Week 12 -- following a bye -- against the Bucs.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy Jr.: RBs to Start

I love the setup for Tracy this week, and I nearly made him the Start of the Week for Week 10. He's taken over as the starting running back for the Giants, and he has at least 16 carries in four of his past five games. In three of those outings, Tracy has scored at least 14 PPR points, and he should have the chance for a strong performance against the Panthers in Germany. Carolina is No. 1 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, and 13 running backs have scored at least 12.1 PPR points against the Panthers this season, including six with at least 20 PPR points. I like Tracy as a borderline No. 1 running back in all leagues for Week 10.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Gets 17 touches in Week 9 loss

Tracy (concussion) rushed 16 times for 66 yards and caught his only target for three yards in Sunday's 27-22 loss to the Commanders. Tracy didn't have any limitations after clearing concussion protocol Friday, as the rookie running back's 16 rushing attempts marked the fourth-highest total of his young career. He worked as the clear lead back over Devin Singletary, who rushed seven times for 33 yards. Tracy has a juicy Week 10 matchup coming up against the Panthers in Munich, Germany.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Progressing through protocol

Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that Tracy (concussion) will be a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports. Tracy will don a red no-contact jersey during the session, but the running back appears to have advanced to the fourth phase of the five-step concussion protocol after not practicing in any fashion Wednesday, two days after he suffered a concussion late in Monday's loss to the Steelers. In order to make himself available for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Tracy will still need to be cleared for contact in addition to receiving clearance from an independent neurologist, but Daboll suggests that the rookie out of Purdue is "trending in the right direction" to play this weekend. After amassing 419 yards from scrimmage and scoring two touchdowns over the past four games, Tracy appears to have established himself as the Giants' lead back over Devin Singletary, who opened the season as the team's starter.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Deemed non-participant in practice

Tracy (concussion) is listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's practice, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports. Tracy was spotted working off to the side with the training staff during the media-access portion of practice, which at least hints at some progress through concussion protocol just two days after suffering the injury. He nonetheless faces an uphill battle to be ready for Sunday's game against Washington, just six days after being concussed late in the fourth quarter of Monday's loss to Pittsburgh. Prior to the injury, Tracy took 21 touches for 150 yards and a touchdown, while Devin Singletary finished the night with four touches for 23 yards.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Works on side field Wednesday

Tracy (concussion) is not practicing Wednesday but was spotted working with trainers off to the side, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports. Giants head coach Brian Daboll said Wednesday that Tracy is in the "early stages" of the NFL's concussion protocol, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com. The rookie fifth-round pick could have a chance to gain clearance in time for Sunday's game against Washington, but in order to put himself on track for a tentative Week 9 return, Tracy will likely need to at least take part in non-contact practice activity Thursday. Devin Singletary will presumably serve as the Giants' lead back if Tracy is unable to clear the protocol before Sunday.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Concussion confirmed

Giants head coach Brian Daboll said Tuesday that Tracy has entered the concussion protocol following Monday's 26-18 loss to the Steelers, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports. Tracy exited the contest with just over four minutes left in the fourth quarter after he appeared to slam his head on the turf. The rookie didn't return for the Giants' final possession, and Daboll has confirmed that Tracy sustained a concussion on the play. After the Monday night game, the Giants will be facing a quick turnaround ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Commanders, so Tracy could face an uphill battle to clear the five-step concussion protocol. He appeared to have solidified himself as the Giants' lead back after gaining 145 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries to go with two catches for five yards in the loss to Pittsburgh. If Tracy is unable to play against Washington however, Devin Singletary would presumably step back in as the team's starter.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Exits to locker room

Tracy exited Monday's matchup with the Steelers late in the fourth quarter after suffering an apparent head injury, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports. Tracy likely went to the medical tent to be checked for a concussion after hitting his helmet on the field. He subsequently left for the locker room. The injury comes on a big night in which he assumed RB1 duties for the Giants ahead of Devin Singletary. Tracy accumulated 145 rushing yards and one touchdown on 20 carries before exiting. He also injured his shoulder at the end of the first half but ultimately returned to start the third quarter.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Returns Monday

Tracy (shoulder) returned to start the second half in Monday's matchup with the Steelers, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports. Tracy was shaken up towards the end of the first half and subsequently drew a questionable designation at halftime. However, he has gotten the green light to start the third quarter. The running back had seemingly take RB1 duties from Devin Singletary in the first half, recording nine carries to Singletary's one.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Questionable to return

Tracy is considered questionable to return to Monday's matchup with the Steelers due to a shoulder injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Tracy had nine carries for 35 yards compared to Devin Singletary's one rush for seven yards prior to exiting. However, Tracy was shaken up late in the first half. Singletary would presumably take on RB1 responsibilities should Tracy be unable to return.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy Jr.: RBs to Sit

Tracy dominated snaps for the Giants in Week 7 against Philadelphia compared to Devin Singletary, 39-12. We'll see if that continues in Week 8 against the Steelers, but I would sit both Giants in Week 8 in the majority of leagues. Against the Eagles, Tracy had six carries for 23 yards and three catches for 9 yards on three targets, and it will be tough to trust him against the Steelers. Pittsburgh is No. 9 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, and this Giants offensive line is a mess without left tackle Andrew Thomas (foot).

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Tough sledding in Sunday's loss

Tracy carried the ball six times for 23 yards and caught all three of his targets for nine yards in Sunday's 28-3 loss to the Eagles. The Giants' run game went nowhere, but Tracy still led the team in rushing yards, with Devin Singletary (six touches for 21 total yards) being even less productive in his return from a groin strain. It's impossible to draw any conclusions on the New York backfield situation given the nature of Sunday's rout, but at the very least Tracy appears to still be in line for a timeshare role. However, the rookie may not find much more room to run in Week 8 against a tough Steelers defense.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Takes advantage of start on SNF

Tracy rushed 17 times for 50 yards and a touchdown while bringing in all six of his targets for 57 receiving yards in Sunday's 17-7 loss to the Bengals. Tracy got to fill in as New York's top running back for the second consecutive week after Devin Singletary (groin) was ruled out just over 24 hours prior to Sunday night's kickoff. The 24-year-old Tracy was up to the task against Cincinnati, breaking the century mark in total yardage while scoring the first touchdown of his career. This comes on the heels of the rookie's 129-yard breakout performance against Seattle in Week 5. It sounds like Singletary may be close to returning to the field based on his near return Sunday, which would only hurt Tracy's skyrocketing fantasy value. Until that happens, fantasy managers should make sure Tracy is rostered ahead of next Sunday's tilt against the Eagles.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Primed for massive opportunity

Tracy is expected to see the lion's share of the snaps out of the backfield Sunday against the Bengals with Devin Singletary (groin) ruled out for Week 6. The 2024 fifth-round pick has another big opportunity ahead of him after he shined in his first extended NFL action in the Giants' Week 5 win over the Seahawks. Though Eric Gray seemed to operate as the team's preferred option early in the Week 5 contest, his fumble on the opening drive opened the door for Tracy, who blasted through to the tune of 7.2 yards per carry on just 12 attempts. The 24-year-old is a bit slight (210 pounds) for his 5-foot-11 frame, and while he doesn't profile as a true three-down workhorse, there's reason to believe the converted collegiate wide receiver could be used more in passing situations as well. With Malik Nabers (concussion) out again, the Giants might be forced to get creative offensively, which would be a boon for Tracy's fantasy prospects.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy Jr.: Sleeper RBs

We don't know if Devin Singletary (groin) will start or be out in Week 6 against the Bengals. Coach Brian Daboll said Friday that "we'll see" about Singletary's status for Sunday, and he was limited in practice all week after sitting out in Week 5 at Seattle. Tracy stepped up against the Seahawks by playing 62 percent of snaps and getting 19 total touches for 130 total yards. This is a great matchup since the Bengals have allowed at least one running back to score at least 13.6 PPR points in every game this season, so whoever starts for the Giants should be considered a No. 2 running back in all leagues. And even if Singletary plays, given that he's not 100 percent, I would still use Tracy as a flex with the hope that his performance against Seattle earned him the chance for more touches on a weekly basis.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy Jr.: Week 6 Adds (RB Preview)

We don't know for sure if Devin Singletary will be back in Week 6, but I'm not sure it should matter. Tracy was electric in Week 5 against Seattle, averaging 7.2 yards per carry. If Singletary is out, we'll view Tracy as a good number two running back in a great matchup against the Bengals. If Singletary returns we'll view both backs as flexes with the expectation that Tracy's role is larger than it was before Singletary's injury.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Steps up with 129 rushing yards

Tracy rushed 18 times for 129 yards and caught one of two targets for one yard in Sunday's 29-20 win over the Seahawks. Tracy ceded some early touches to Eric Gray, but after Gray had a disastrous fumble at the goal line on the opening drive, Tracy took over as the main man in a Giants backfield that was without Devin Singletary (groin). This was a surprisingly effective effort on the ground from Tracy considering the rookie fifth-round draft pick came into the game with only 29 yards on 12 rushing attempts (2.4 YPC) before galloping for 7.2 YPC in the Week 5 win. Tracy has likely earned a larger role for Week 6 against the Bengals and beyond, though it remains to be seen if he has done enough to unseat Singletary atop the running back depth chart.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Set for No. 1 role Sunday

Tracy is set to operate as the Giants' lead back in Sunday's Week 5 matchup against the Seahawks with Devin Singletary (groin) inactive for the contest, per Dan Salomone of the team's official site. Tracy has been building up to his No. 1 role by taking first-team reps throughout the week, and the rookie fifth-round pick will now have a chance to log his most extensive workload as a pro yet. The matchup against a Seahawks defense that's allowed just 82.0 rushing yards per contest through its first two home games is daunting on paper; however, Tracy could make for a viable deeper-league and DFS tournament option based on the volume he should see with only second-year back Eric Gray and practice-squad call-up Dante Miller to compete with for carries.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy Jr.: Sleeper RBs

Devin Singletary (groin) is doubtful for Week 5 at Seattle, which means Tracy and Eric Gray will likely share touches against the Seahawks. I'm more interested in Tracy, who should be considered a flex option in all leagues, while Gray is a desperation flex in deeper formats. Tracy has 18 combined carries and targets through four games compared to Gray's five. This won't be an easy matchup for Tracy since the Giants are also without their best offensive player in Malik Nabers (concussion). But given the potential workload, Tracy should be a flex option, and hopefully he'll have a prominent role in the passing game, which should be needed to offset the loss of Nabers.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy Jr.: Week 4 Waiver Priority List

Tracy got more work in Week 3 at Cleveland than he had all season with five carries for 23 yards and two catches for 17 yards on two targets. I hope he continues to get more work moving forward in tandem with Devin Singletary, and Taylor could be a lottery ticket if Singletary ever misses any time. Taylor is worth adding in all leagues for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.
