Bears' Keenan Allen: Likely to suit up Sunday
Allen (heel) is expected to play in Sunday's Week 1 contest against Tennessee, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Allen is officially listed as questionable for the matchup, but Bears head coach Matt Eberflus has stated that he expects the veteran wideout to suit up. That's not a surprise given that Allen was able to log a full practice session Friday following a pair of limited sessions to begin the week. With DJ Moore lined up to be Chicago's No. 1 wideout and promising rookie Rome Odunze also in the fold, Allen will look to establish a rapport with No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams in what will be the USC product's NFL regular-season debut.

Bears' Keenan Allen: Questionable despite full practice
Allen (heel) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans, despite upgrading to full practice participation Friday.
The upgrade to 'full' after limited practices Wednesday and Thursday suggests Allen is on track to play. He was first reported to be dealing with foot discomfort last Wednesday, and there subsequently hasn't been any indication of a serious injury. Any limitations or in-game setbacks could help rookie wideout Rome Odunze get more playing time in his regular-season debut.

Bears' Keenan Allen: Another limited practice
Allen (heel) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.
By the end of August, Allen had developed what GM Ryan Poles called discomfort in his foot, and the Bears' first injury report of Week 1 revealed the issue to be to his heel. He thus has just one more chance to get back to full Friday before the Bears potentially hand him a designation for Sunday's contest versus the Titans. Allen would yield targets to fellow WRs DJ Moore and Rome Odunze if he's inhibited or out this weekend.

Bears' Keenan Allen: Limited by heel injury
Allen was listed as a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a heel injury.
Allen sat out practice Aug. 28 due to discomfort in his foot, but the issue since has been clarified to be to his heel. After returning to drills Wednesday, he'll have two more opportunities this week to get back to full activity before the Bears potentially give him a designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the Titans. If he remains banged up or even is sidelined this weekend, Allen's absence would open up targets for DJ Moore and rookie first-rounder Rome Odunze.
