In our first Superflex mock draft for 2026, there were seven quarterbacks drafted in the first round and 12 selected in the first 24 overall picks. And it was fascinating to see which quarterbacks went that early.

There were the usual suspects of Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow and Jalen Hurts in Round 1, but they were joined by Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels and Jaxson Dart. Maye went at No. 2 overall, which is where he finished at quarterback last season at 23.7 Fantasy points per game, and I love that Dart is now a first-round pick in this format. He scored at least 21.4 Fantasy points in nine of 12 starts as a rookie in 2025.

In Round 2, we had Brock Purdy, Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence, Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert. My favorite selection was Herbert, who should have a big season in 2026 with the healthy return of offensive tackles Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt, along with the addition of offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel. And Mahomes (knee) could be a steal if he returns by Week 1 at 100 percent.

In Round 3, four more quarterbacks went off the board with Dak Prescott, Bo Nix, Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff, and Stafford might be the best quarterback pick of this draft. He was the No. 1 Fantasy quarterback in 2025 at 25.5 points per game, and I'm hopeful he'll have another solid campaign in 2026, even at 38 years old.

There were three more quarterbacks drafted in Round 4 with Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold and Jordan Love, and I love the Mayfield and Love selections. Mayfield had a down season in 2025 at 19.1 Fantasy points per game, but he averaged 26.3 points in 2024 and could get close to that level of production again in 2026. And Love averaged 21.3 Fantasy points per game in 2025 and has been at that number in two of the past three seasons. He's tremendous value as the No. 19 quarterback selected in this draft.

From Round 5 on, we had a lot of questionable quarterbacks drafted, ranging from Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud and Kyler Murray to Cam Ward, Tyler Shough and Malik Willis. We'll see where Murray plays in 2026, which could make him an amazing value pick, and I love the Willis selection if he earns a starting job as expected as a free agent this offseason.

I drafted Prescott and Ward as my starting quarterbacks, and I added Shedeur Sanders as my only reserve quarterback in Round 12. We'll see if he remains the starter in Cleveland in 2026, but it was great value to get a Pro Bowl quarterback that late. Yes, that was a joke, but Sanders will hopefully improve in his sophomore campaign.

I waited on quarterback by starting my team with Bijan Robinson and Trey McBride with my first two picks before drafting Prescott. And then I selected Nico Collins and Garrett Wilson before getting Ward.

Overall, I like my starting lineup, which also includes Alvin Kamara, Luther Burden III and Christian Watson, who is my flex. My reserves, along with Sanders, include Rhamondre Stevenson, Bhayshul Tuten and Kenneth Gainwell at running back, and I have Tre Harris and Tory Horton as backup receivers.

Gainwell is a free agent, but he showed in 2025 that he can be a Fantasy star when he averaged 12.8 PPR points per game. Stevenson is closing out 2025 on a high note with at least 12.1 PPR points in five of his past six games heading into Super Bowl LX against Seattle. And Tuten could be the starting running back in Jacksonville in 2026 if Travis Etienne leaves the Jaguars as a free agent.

I like Harris and Horton heading into 2026 since both could be significant contributors in their sophomore campaign. Harris could see an increased role for the Chargers if Keenan Allen leaves as a free agent. And Horton could also see a bump in playing time if the Seahawks move on from Rashid Shaheed, who is a free agent, along with Cooper Kupp, who will be 33 in June.

As a reference point for this mock draft, all touchdowns are worth six points, and we award one point for every 10 yards rushing and receiving and one point for every 25 yards passing. We also award one point for every reception. We feature a starting lineup of QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, FLEX (RB/WR/TE), and SUPERFLEX (QB/RB/WR/TE) with six reserves for a 15-round draft.
