Harper played a whopping 37 minutes, tallying a career-high 27 points as the Celtics upset the Magic. With Boston opting to rest its entire starting five, Harper was one of a few players who stepped up, helping deliver arguably the team's most inspiring victory of the season. However, despite this effort, don't expect to see Harper too much during the playoffs, given he has averaged just 10.9 minutes per game through 29 appearances.

Harper signed a two-way contract with the Celtics prior to the start of the 2025-26 season, but the 25-year-old forward has performed well enough between stops at the NBA level and G League to earn a spot on the 15-man roster, which will keep him available for the postseason. Despite being upgraded from his two-way deal, Harper isn't expected to be a regular member of the rotation when Boston is at full strength. Through 26 appearances with the Celtics this season, Harper has averaged 3.4 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.8 three-pointers in 10.3 minutes per game.

Harper notched 22 points (8-11 FG, 6-9 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists in 33 minutes during Tuesday's 125-116 loss to San Antonio.
With Payton Pritchard (neck) sidelined, Harper made the most of his expanded minutes off the bench Tuesday and thrived in the matchup against his brother, Dylan Harper, who plays for the Spurs. The older Harper delivered his best game of the season by a wide margin. His previous season-high scoring mark was 11 points, and this was just the second time he posted double-digit points in 2025-26. Despite the impressive performance Tuesday, Harper is not a player worth targeting in most fantasy formats since he doesn't have much of a role in the rotation and saw increased usage against San Antonio after Jaylen Brown was ejected. Through 19 appearances and two starts, Harper is averaging 4.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.7 assists on a mere 11.9 minutes per game.

Harper has spent the vast majority of the 2025-26 season in the G League with the Maine Celtics. Despite appearing in just seven games with Boston prior to Wednesday's contest, head coach Joe Mazulla gave Harper the starting nod for the first time in the latter's NBA career due to the absence of Jaylen Brown (hamstring/knee). Harper took advantage of the opportunity, showcasing his energy with four offensive rebounds while showing his range from beyond the arc. Brown will likely be back for Friday's game against the Heat, but Harper's performance against Houston may have earned him some rotational minutes in the short term.
