Vukcevic has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Knicks due to a left knee contusion, Varun Shankar of The Washington Post reports.
Vukcevic has yet to play in the NBA or G League this season, but Monday marks the first time he's shown up on the injury report. On Sunday, head coach Brian Keefe told Shankar that Vukcevic will need to ramp up his conditioning before making his debut, and the injury likely doesn't help the big man's chances of seeing live action soon.

Vukcevic registered 10 points (4-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and one rebound across eight minutes during Sunday's 125-98 preseason loss to the Raptors.
Vukcevic was one of four Wizards players to score in double digits Sunday despite playing just eight minutes off the bench. The 2023 second-round pick spent most of his rookie year playing overseas and didn't join the Wizards until mid-March. Vukcevic will likely spend most of the 2024-25 season in the G League, but he'll use the preseason to make a case to stick around on the Wizards' 15-man roster for the start of the regular season.

Vukcevic (ankle) signed a two-way contract with the Wizards on Wednesday.
The Wizards selected Vukcevic with the No. 42 pick in 2023 NBA Draft, but he didn't join Washington until mid-March while he was playing overseas. He appeared in 10 contests for the Wizards, including four straight starts before an ankle injury sidelined him. As a starter, Vukcevic averaged 15.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 blocks in 22.5 minutes per game. Washington declined Vukcevic's $2.42 million team option last week but quickly re-signed him to a two-way deal, so the Serbian center figures to spend most of the 2024-25 campaign with the G League's Captial City Go-Go.
