Schroder racked up 21 points (8-14 FG, 5-9 3Pt), six rebounds and seven assists over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 123-115 loss to the Clippers. Schroder delivered his best performance since arriving in Detroit, scoring at least 20 points for the first time since late January. Schroder has slotted in as the sixth man for the Pistons, typically playing minutes in the high teens. While this was a nice performance, it is unlikely to be the norm when it comes to his production.... See More ... See Less

Pistons' Dennis Schroder: Will suit up Friday
Schroder (ankle) is available for Friday's game against Denver, Keith Langlois of the Pistons' official site reports. Schroder will return to game action after missing Wednesday's win over the Celtics due to a left ankle sprain. The veteran point guard has averaged 8.2 points, 4.2 assists and 1.8 rebounds across 18.0 minutes per contest in six outings with the Pistons.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Dennis Schroder: Probable for Friday
Schroder (ankle) has been listed as probable for Friday's game against the Nuggets. Schroder missed Wednesday's win against the Celtics while dealing with a sprained left ankle. However, he's trending toward returning to the floor Friday against Denver. The veteran guard has played in six games for Detroit since being acquired by the team, averaging 8.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Dennis Schroder: Not playing Wednesday
Schroder (ankle) won't play in Wednesday's game against the Celtics, Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press reports. Schroder was initially labeled questionable for Wednesday's tilt due to left ankle soreness, but he didn't make enough progress leading up to tip off for the Pistons to clear him to play. With Schroder sidelined, the Pistons could reopen a spot in the rotation for Marcus Sasser to serve as Cade Cunningham's primary backup.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Dennis Schroder: Iffy against Boston
Schroder is questionable to face Boston on Wednesday due to left ankle soreness. This is a new issue for Schroder, but the questionable tag means he's likely day-to-day. The veteran point guard has averaged 18.1 minutes across six games with his new club. If he's unable to go, Marcus Sasser could pick up a handful of minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Dennis Schroder: Provides lift offensively off bench
Schroder notched 16 points (5-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 22 minutes during Sunday's 148-143 win over the Hawks. Schroder had a nice outing off the bench Sunday, leading all Pistons bench players in assists while finishing as one of four players with 15 or more points in a high-scoring victory. Schroder posted the highest scoring and assist totals as a member of the Pistons, recording his ninth outing of the year with at least 15 points and seven dimes.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Dennis Schroder: Muted performance in win
Schroder contributed four points (1-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and four assists in 15 minutes during Tuesday's 132-92 victory over the Bulls. With two games under his belt in Detroit, it's pretty clear that his fantasy appeal leaves a lot to be desired as a backup point guard. In that span, he averaged 14.8 minutes per contest with 4.5 points and 3.5 assists on 20.0 percent shooting from the field.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Dennis Schroder: Cleared for debut
Schroder (recently traded) is available to make his Pistons debut Sunday against the Hornets, Hunter Patterson of The Athletic reports. After starring for the Nets to begin the season, Schroder was shipped to Golden State in December, but he found himself on the move again ahead of the trade deadline as the Warriors pursued Jimmy Butler. Schroder found a solid home in Detroit, where he can mentor and operate as a backup point guard behind Cade Cunningham and provide the Pistons with backcourt insurance until Jaden Ivey (lower leg) is cleared to suit up again.... Pistons' Dennis Schroder: Could debut Sunday
Schroder (recently traded) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Hornets. Schroder was sent to the Pistons in Wednesday's trade that revolved around Jimmy Butler going to the Warriors. Schroder wasn't able to play against the 76ers on Friday due to the trade still pending, but he could make his Pistons' debut Sunday if the transaction is finalized by then. Across 47 regular-season games between the Nets and Warriors, Schroder has averaged 14.4 points, 5.5 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals over 29.8 minutes per game. He will serve in a rotational role off the Pistons' bench, though he could see meaningful minutes Sunday if Cade Cunningham (ankle) is not cleared to play.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Dennis Schroder: Won't play Friday
Schroder (recently traded) won't be making his debut Friday for the Pistons against the 76ers. Schroder was recently involved in the massive trade involving Jimmy Butler landing with the Warriors, which resulted in Schroder being acquired by Detroit. However, the veteran guard won't be making his debut Friday with the Pistons against Philadelphia. The next chance he'll get to take the floor for his new team will be Sunday against the Hornets.... Pistons' Dennis Schroder: Traded to Detroit
Schroder will be rerouted to Detroit as part of the Jimmy Butler trade package, Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press reports. Schroder was initially sent from Golden State to Utah, but he'll eventually land with the Pistons as several teams continue to finalize the massive trade with Butler as the headliner. With Jaden Ivey (leg) out several more weeks, Schroder could see the bulk of the backup point guard minutes in Detroit behind Cade Cunningham. Those two could share the floor at times as well.... Jazz's Dennis Schroder: Sent to Utah in trade
Schroder has reportedly been shipped to the Jazz as part of the five-team trade involving Jimmy Butler being dealt to the Warriors, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. As part of a massive deal ahead of Thursday's NBA trade deadline, Schroder has been moved to Utah, with Butler being dealt to Golden State, Andrew Wiggins heading to Miami and Kyle Anderson being shipped to Toronto. In theory, the veteran point guard adds depth to the backcourt for the Jazz. However, there's certainly a chance the veteran is dealt again or bought out.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Dennis Schroder: Back to bench against OKC
Schroder is coming off the bench in Wednesday's game against the Thunder, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. After starting Tuesday's game against the Jazz, Schroder will head back to Golden State's second unit in Stephen Curry's (knees) return Wednesday. Over three games off the bench for the Warriors, the veteran guard has averaged 9.3 points, 5.0 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.3 threes in 20.9 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Dennis Schroder: Notches 23 points
Schroder closed Tuesday's 114-103 victory over the Jazz with 23 points (8-20 FG, 5-13 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, four assists and three steals in 34 minutes. Stephen Curry (knee) was a late scratch for this contest, presumably to be ready for the second leg of this back-to-back set Wednesday against the Thunder. It's worth noting that Schroder picked up a knee issue Tuesday that forced him to the sidelines for about five minutes, but he was able to finish out the game. For now, there's no indication that his status is in doubt for Wednesday.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Dennis Schroder: Checks back into game
Schroder (knee) checked back into Tuesday's game versus the Jazz with 3:21 remaining in the third quarter, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Schroder missed just over five minutes of game time due to a left knee injury scare before returning to action. Unless the 30-year-old guard suffers a setback, he should be able to finish out Tuesday's contest.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Dennis Schroder: Helped to locker room Tuesday
Schroder was helped to the locker room after sustaining an apparent left knee injury in the third quarter of Tuesday's game against the Jazz, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports. Schroder wasn't able to put any weight on his left leg after his knee seemingly gave out on him on a layup attempt. If the 31-year-old is unable to return, he'll finish the matchup with 15 points (5-11 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 22 minutes. The veteran point guard got the start for Stephen Curry (knees), meaning Brandin Podziemski and Gary Payton will likely see an uptick in playing time if Schroder isn't able to return.... See More ... Warriors' Dennis Schroder: Dishes out five dimes off bench
Schroder registered seven points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three rebounds and five assists across 21 minutes during Wednesday's 123-117 loss to the Kings. After starting in 17 straight games for Golden State, Schroder came off the bench for the first time this season. While the 31-year-old guard dished out five assists, he also coughed up five turnovers against Sacramento. If Schroder continues to come off the bench, his fantasy value will diminish.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Dennis Schroder: Coming off bench
Schroder isn't part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Kings, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Schroder will come off the bench for the first time this season, despite the Warriors being down Brandin Podziemski (abdomen). Instead, Golden State will start Stephen Curry, Buddy Hield, Gary Payton, Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Dennis Schroder: Scores 20 points Saturday
Schroder contributed 20 points (7-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound, four assists and one steal over 32 minutes during Saturday's 122-114 win over the Wizards. Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins led the way for the Warriors on Saturday, but Schroder posted a solid stat line as well and reached the 20-point mark for the first time since being traded from the Nets to the Warriors in mid-December. He's averaging 10.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game since joining Golden State while serving as a reliable presence in the starting unit.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Dennis Schroder: Good to go against Detroit
Schroder (hip) is available for Thursday's game versus the Pistons, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports. Schroder has been upgraded from questionable to available Thursday despite dealing with a left hip contusion. Schroder is averaging 9.9 points, 4.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 28.5 minutes across his last 10 outings.... See More ... See Less
