Noah Lyles officially became the fastest man in the world after winning the gold for Team USA in the 100-meter dash at the 2024 Paris Olympics last Sunday. The running shoes that carried him to victory? The Adidas Adizero Prime SP3 Strung x Y-3 running spikes. The best-in-class track shoes were a collaboration effort between Adidas and legendary Japanese designer, Yohji Yamamoto.

Then, Quincy Hall charged across the finish line in the 400-meter dash yesterday to claim yet another gold for Team USA in the exact same model of Adidas track shoes (though, not the same limited edition color). In addition to winning the gold, both athletes notched a new personal best in the premium racing spikes.

Whether you dream of sprinting like Lyles and Hall or are just looking to try out the world's fastest shoes, you might be able to grab a pair of the limited-edition shoes for yourself if you act now. (Not a sprinter? Don't worry -- you can get similar technology in the Adidas Adizero Prime X 2.0 Strung running shoes.)

The now iconic shoes that Noah Lyles wore are selling out fast, as is the color that Quincy Hall wore a few days later. Tap the button below to see if your size is still in stock or keep reading to find some alternatives from Adidas that feature similar technology and features.

The exact shoes that Lyles wore to make history at the Paris Olympics are the Adidas Adizero Prime SP3 Strung x Y-3 running spikes, and a pair will run you $450. The top-of-the-line shoe was a limited edition release that came out last month. It boasts a sock-like strung upper, Adidas' Lightstrike Pro cushioning and a full plate of spikes on the outsole.

There are still a few sizes left, so you can try your luck at nabbing a pair of your own from Adidas.

For those whose size of the Y-3 edition is sold out -- or who don't want to drop $450 on a pair of running shoes -- you can find Quincy Hall's Adidas Adizero Prime SP 3 at Dick's Sporting Goods for $180. This much more budget-friendly alternative isn't a Y-3 collaboration but it includes all the same technology and design elements that matter come race day. That includes the same precision-spun upper, Lightstrike Pro cushioning and the full spike plate. So you'll get the same bite into the track to propel you to the finish line.

Get similar technology in a road running shoe

If you aren't running track and field events, you don't need the spikes. But you can still benefit from the other racing shoe technology that helped Lyles secure the gold for Team USA. To do that, get the Adidas Adizero Prime X 2.0 Strung running shoes.

A race-compliant super shoe, the Prime X 2 Strung features that same top-of-the-line upper found on the spikes that Noah Lyles wore. Based on running analytics of actual runners, each thread of the upper is layered to provide extra strength where you need it--the heel, midfoot and toebox -- and flexibility everywhere else, like your forefoot where your foot expands most on each strike.

It also boasts the same Lightstrike Pro foam in the midsole, except road runners get three layers of the responsive foam to the spikes' single layer. A frame of carbon plates gives a super shoe-like bounce to your stride without violating official race regulations.
