After the Seahawks beat the Broncos in Week 3, Denver cornerback Chris Harris said that Russell Wilson was better than Andrew Luck. After the Seahawks beat the Redskins on Monday night, Washington safety Ryan Clark took that a a step further saying that Wilson isn't just better than Luck, he's the best player in the NFL.

"We got beat by a better team," Clark told the Washington Post. "We got beat by, as far as I'm concerned this weekend, the best player in the NFL. Russell Wilson made every play he had to make for his team to win, and we didn't."

If you're wondering what would prompt Clark, a 13-year-veteran, to say something like that, here's two examples from Monday night.

On a first-and-10 play in the second quarter, Wilson was being chased by Redskins defenders when he made a ridiculous throw across his body that went 45-yards down field into the waiting arms of tight end Cooper Helfet

The Seahawks would score one player later on a Wilson nine-yard run, a play that also probably impressed Clark.

Wilson's most impressive play of the night though might have been the 30-yard pass to Marshawn Lynch that you can see below. Late in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks were clinging to a 24-17 lead and faced with a third-and-4.

All hope looked to be lost on the play as Wilson was being chased by three defenders, but then he found Lynch for 30-yards and the first down.

Wilson finished the game with 201 yards passing and 122 yards rushing, a stat line that made him the first quarterbrack in NFL history to pass for over 200 yards and rush for over 100 yards in a Monday night game.

Also, it might be worth mentioning that Wilson had two touchdown passes called back: A 26-yarder in the second quarter and a 41-yarder in the fourth quarter. Both passes went to Percy Harvin, who seemed to be cursed on Monday
