  • Taevion Kinsey: Waived by Golden State

The Warriors waived Kinsey on Wednesday.

This was an expected move by the Warriors, as Kinsey was on a training camp deal. He'll receive a bonus by latching on with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League.

  • Taevion Kinsey: Waived by Utah

Kinsey was waived by the Jazz on Tuesday, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.

Kinsey was on a two-way contract with the Jazz last season but wasn't able to claim a final roster spot this time around. He'll likely end up with Salt Lake City in the G League.

  • Taevion Kinsey: Waived by Utah

The Jazz waived Kinsey on Monday, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.

After signing a two-way pact with the Jazz in July, Kinsey will become a free agent and look to secure a new contract elsewhere. The 24-year-old spent 2023-24 with the Salt Lake City Stars, Utah's G League affiliate, during which he averaged 8.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists across 26.9 minutes per game in 16 regular-season appearances.

  • Jazz's Taevion Kinsey: Joins Utah on two-way deal

Kinsey agreed to a two-way contract with the Jazz on Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Kinsey spent the 2023-24 campaign with the G League's Salt Lake City Stars, averaging 10.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 three-pointers in 29.6 minutes per game over 50 total appearances. He'll rejoin the organization on a deal that allows him to move between the G League and parent club easily, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him spend most of his time in the G League during the 2024-25 season.

  • Taevion Kinsey: Contract terminated

The Jazz terminated Kinsey's 10-day contract on Tuesday, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Utah's signing of Darius Bazley caused the Jazz to cut Kinsey's 10-day deal short. Kinsey failed to make an NBA appearance since signing his contract last Friday and will likely return to the Salt Lake City Stars of the G League.

  • Jazz's Taevion Kinsey: Signs 10-day deal with Jazz

Kinsey and the Jazz agreed to a 10-day contract Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Kinsey has been a standout for the Jazz's G League affiliate in Salt Lake City of late, particularly with his three-point shooting. For the season, Kinsey averaged 9.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.9 three-pointers and 0.7 steals in 28.0 minutes per game over his 41 appearances for Salt Lake City. He'll serve as a depth option out of the backcourt for the duration of his 10-day deal but is unlikely to factor into head coach Will Hardy's rotation.

  • Taevion Kinsey: Waived by Utah

Kinsey was waived by the Jazz on Wednesday, per the NBA transactions log.

Kinsey signed an Exhibit 10 contract with Utah shortly after going unselected in the 2023 NBA Draft, but he didn't see any action in Summer League or in the team's first two preseason games. While it's possible another NBA team gives Kinsey a look, it's likely he'll end up on Utah's G League roster for the 2023-24 campaign.
