Murray was promoted from AHL Texas on Tuesday, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports.
Scott Wedgewood is considered day-to-day with a lower-body injury, so Murray will either start or serve as Jake Oettinger's backup Tuesday versus LA. Murray was excellent in his lone NHL appearance of the season Jan. 8 against the Wild, stopping all 23 shots he faced en route to a 4-0 victory.
