Petrovic was recalled from AHL Texas on Monday.
Petrovic has three goals and 16 points in 44 AHL contests this season. He may get a chance to make his Dallas debut Monday against Boston because of injuries to Nils Lundkvist (concussion) and Jani Hakanpaa (upper body).
