Tony Lippett was the Big Ten receiver of the year last season, but the Dolphins, who drafted him in the fifth round, see him as a cornerback.

Lippett is converting to the defensive backfield in OTAs. Early returns are good. He had three interceptions in Monday's practice.

"He doesn't have a ton of position experience there in games, but he seems to be a guy that's learned the system pretty well," coach Joe Philbin said, per the Palm Beach Post. "Every rep that he gets is extremely valuable at this stage of his development. I caught a couple of them, I?was bouncing back and forth, and he went up and high-pointed one of the balls. He was in the right place at the right time."
