Bussi was summoned from AHL Providence on Saturday, according to the AHL's transaction list.
Bussi has a 2.67 GAA and a .913 save percentage in 40 AHL contests with Providence in 2023-24. He is projected to serve as an insurance policy behind Jeremy Swayman and Linus Ullmark to begin the NHL playoffs. With Providence set for a postseason run of their own, Bussi might not stick around long with the big club.
