Podlesny was waived by the Vikings on Thursday.
Podlesny joined the team as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia in the spring. His exit will leave Greg Joseph, who has handled kicking duties for Minnesota each of the last two seasons, as the only kicker on the roster. Podlesney will now work to find another opportunity.
