T.J. McConnell IND PG
Pacers' T.J. McConnell: Shines bright in Game 6 victory
7h agoMcConnell finished Thursday's 108-91 win over the Thunder in Game 6 of the NBA Finals with 12 points (6-12 FG, 0-2 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and four steals across 24 minutes.
McConnell stepped up on both ends of the floor, shouldering more of the point guard duties with Tyrese Haliburton limited due to a calf injury. The veteran McConnell has now scored double digits in four of the past five games, while tallying 13 total steals during that time. Although Haliburton will almost certainly be available for Game 7, McConnell will likely be called upon to lighten the load as Indiana looks for its first NBA title.

Tyrese Haliburton IND PG
Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton: Limited in Game 6 win
7h agoHaliburton had 14 points (5-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, five assists and two steals across 23 minutes during Thursday's 108-91 win over the Thunder in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
Haliburton played limited minutes Thursday, helped by the fact that the Pacers ran the Thunder out of the gym. This game was never really close, with both teams given the opportunity to rest their stars down the stretch. Despite continuing to deal with what has been reported as a somewhat serious calf injury, there is almost no way Haliburton won't be available for Game 7 on Sunday in Oklahoma City.

Isaiah Joe OKC SG
Thunder's Isaiah Joe: Tallies 11 points in loss
7h agoJoe registered 11 points (3-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound and one assist across 15 minutes during Thursday's 108-91 loss to the Pacers in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
Joe scored double digits for just the fifth time this postseason, playing a handful of extra minutes as the Thunder was soundly beaten by the Pacers. Joe has barely featured thus far during the playoffs, logging double-digit minutes only four times in the past 16 games. Oklahoma City will now host Game 7 on Sunday, looking to put a bow on what has been an incredible season.
-
Luguentz Dort OKC SF
Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Another dissapointing performance
10h agoDort chipped in three points (1-5 FG, 1-5 3Pt) and four rebounds in 21 minutes during Thursday's 108-91 loss to the Pacers in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
Dort was a non-factor in the loss, continuing what has been a modest yet underwhelming postseason. He has now scored single digits in nine of the past 12 games, posing very little threat on the offensive end. Game 7 will be in Oklahoma City on Sunday, with both teams looking to end what has been an enthralling NBA Finals.
-
Chet Holmgren OKC C
Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Struggles mightily in loss
10h agoHolmgren finished Thursday's 108-91 loss to the Pacers in Game 6 of the NBA Finals with four points (2-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and six rebounds in 24 minutes.
Holmgren failed to have any sort of tangible impact, delivering his worst game of the postseason. Despite some inconsistent numbers throughout the playoffs, Holmgren has been largely impressive on both ends of the floor, averaging 15.0 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 29.7 minutes per game. With the series now tied at 3-3, both teams will head to Oklahoma City for Game 7, with everything on the line.
-
Jalen Williams OKC SF
Thunder's Jalen Williams: Muted performance in loss
15h agoWilliams closed with 16 points (6-13 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three rebounds and one assist over 27 minutes during Thursday's 108-91 loss to Indiana in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
After dropping 40 points in Game 5, Williams failed to have the same impact offensively in Game 6. The Santa Clara product had his lowest point total of the series, as the Thunder were unable to hold off the Pacers from extending the Finals to a Game 7. Prior to Thursday's game in Indiana, Williams was averaging 25.8 points across five games.

Steven Adams HOU C
Rockets' Steven Adams: Signs three-year extension
6d agoThe Rockets have agreed to a three-year, $39 million contract extension with Adams, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Adams was expected to be a hot commodity in free agency this summer after having an impressive showing in the NBA playoffs. The Rockets value what the veteran center brings to the table and got an extension done before he could test free agency in July. In seven games during the postseason, Adams averaged 5.7 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game while shooting 60 percent from the field.

Myles Turner IND C
Pacers' Myles Turner: Non-factor in Game 4 loss
7d agoTurner contributed 12 points (3-10 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds and two assists over 30 minutes during Friday's 111-104 loss to the Thunder in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
Turner couldn't find any rhythm on the offensive end, missing several key baskets as the Pacers gave up a double-digit lead. In fact, Turner failed to hit a three-pointer for the first time since the opening round against the Bucks. With the series now all square, Turner will need to rediscover his form ahead of what promises to be a series-defining Game 5 in Oklahoma City on Monday.
-
Isaiah Hartenstein OKC C
Thunder's Isaiah Hartenstein: Quiet despite start
7d agoHartenstein finished Friday's 111-104 win over the Pacers in Game 4 of the NBA Finals with two points (1-3 FG), six rebounds and two assists over 21 minutes.
Hartenstein moved back into the starting lineup, although his production told a different story. In what has been an unfavorable matchup, Hartenstein has been a non-factor to this point, with both the Thunder and the Pacers opting to run smaller, interchangeable lineups. Hartenstein has played more than 20 minutes only twice in the past seven games. Friday's win means Oklahoma City will head home for Game 5 with the series locked at 2-2.
-
Isaiah Hartenstein OKC C
Thunder's Isaiah Hartenstein: Will start Friday
7d agoHartenstein will be in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Pacers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
Hartenstein came off the bench during Game 3 for the third consecutive game. He'll revert to his usual role as a starter with Cason Wallace set to be in the second unit Friday. As a starter throughout this postseason, Hartenstein has averaged 9.2 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, shooting 62.2 percent from the field.

Myles Turner IND C
Pacers' Myles Turner: Not listed on injury report
8d agoTurner (illness) has been cleared to play in Game 4 of the NBA Finals against the Thunder.
Turner dealt with an illness during Game 3, which cast some doubt on whether he'd be able to play Friday in Game 4. However, the veteran big man will be available for Indiana as the team looks to take a commanding 3-1 lead over Oklahoma City. Turner has played well in the NBA Finals up to this point, averaging 13.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.7 blocks per game while shooting 42.4 percent from the floor and 28.6 percent from beyond the arc.

Obi Toppin IND PF
Pacers' Obi Toppin: Scores 20 points off bench
15h agoToppin totaled 20 points (6-12 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds and two steals over 23 minutes during Thursday's 108-91 victory over the Thunder in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
Toppin continues to be a force to be reckoned with off the bench for the Pacers in the NBA Finals. The Dayton product has now scored 17 or more points three times during this series, making him one of the most consistent scoring threats on the team.
-
Pascal Siakam IND PF
Pacers' Pascal Siakam: Double-doubles in win
16h agoSiakam racked up 16 points (6-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 13 rebounds and three assists across 32 minutes in Thursday's 108-91 win against the Thunder.
Siakam recorded a double-double for the second time during the NBA Finals on Thursday. Even though the New Mexico State product had his second-lowest point total of this series, he left his mark on this game while helping force a Game 7, which will be played Sunday in Oklahoma City.
-
Jarace Walker IND PF
Pacers' Jarace Walker: Won't play Game 6
2d agoWalker (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Thunder.
Walker will miss a sixth straight game during the NBA Finals due to a sprained right ankle. The next opportunity for him to get back on the floor will be Sunday if the Pacers force a Game 7 in Oklahoma City.
-
Pascal Siakam IND PF
Pacers' Pascal Siakam: Posts team-high 28 points in loss
4d agoSiakam closed with 28 points (9-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 7-8 FT), six rebounds, five assists, two blocks and three steals across 33 minutes during Monday's 120-109 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
Siakam had a respectable total heading into the fourth quarter, but he woke up with 12 points in the final stanza. He was the engine of an 11-3 rally that put the Pacers within striking distance. His teammates provided little support after the scoring barrage, as the Thunder responded with an 18-4 rally of their own to put the game out of reach. Siakam's 28 points marked his best scoring performance of the series.

Jarace Walker IND PF
Pacers' Jarace Walker: Officially ruled out for Game 5
5d agoWalker (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Thunder.
Walker will miss his fifth straight game due to a sprained right ankle. The 21-year-old is making progress in his recovery, though head coach Rick Carlisle said Sunday that it's "very unlikely" he'll play during the Finals, according to Dan Devine of Yahoo Sports.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Unlikely to play in NBA Finals
5d agoHead coach Rick Carlisle said Sunday that Walker (ankle) is improving and off crutches, though it's "very unlikely" that he'll return during the NBA Finals, Dan Devine of Yahoo Sports reports.
While Walker hasn't officially been ruled out for Monday's Game 5 against the Thunder, he can be considered doubtful at best for the remainder of the series until the Pacers provide another update. The 21-year-old still has a slight limp but is making progress in his recovery. However, his season is expected to be over due to the sprained right ankle he sustained in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Knicks.

Aaron Nesmith IND SF
Pacers' Aaron Nesmith: Bounces back with solid total
4d agoNesmith amassed 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-5 3Pt), six rebounds and one steal across 25 minutes during Monday's 120-109 loss to the Thunder in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
Nesmith's defensive mettle and rebounding ability have served the Pacers well, and his ability to contain Jalen Brunson in the Eastern Conference Finals remains his postseason highlight. While he's failed to break the double-digit scoring barrier over the past two games, he took advantage of a slow start by Obi Toppin and posted 14 points over 25 minutes.
-
Jalen Williams OKC SF
Thunder's Jalen Williams: Shines in Game 5 win
4d agoWilliams recorded 40 points (14-25 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 9-12 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal across 35 minutes during Monday's 120-109 win over the Pacers in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
Williams posted a playoff career high in points, helping lead the Thunder to a 3-2 series lead. The star forward and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander combined for 71 points, with the duo scoring or assisting on 103 of the team's 120 points. Williams has logged at least 26 points and six rebounds in three straight games. The 24-year-old is averaging 25.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists across 35.4 minutes per game in the Finals. Williams and the Thunder will look to close out the series in Indiana on Thursday.
-
Bennedict Mathurin IND SF
Pacers' Bennedict Mathurin: Crashes back to earth in loss
7d agoMathurin supplied eight points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-8 FT), two rebounds and one block in 14 minutes during Friday's 111-104 loss to the Thunder in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
Mathurin couldn't repeat his heroics from Game 3, stringing together arguably the worst 60 seconds of his career as the Pacers squandered what could have been a series-defining lead. Mathurin committed two dead-ball fouls while also going 1-of-4 from the line down the stretch. Aaron Nesmith fouled out in the dying stages, and Rick Carlisle opted to go with Mathurin as opposed to T.J. McConnell, who was seemingly having more of a positive impact on the game. With the series now level at 2-2, Indiana will look to wrestle back control when the two teams meet again Monday.

Jalen Williams OKC SF
Thunder's Jalen Williams: Scores 27 points in Game 4 win
7d agoWilliams ended with 27 points (8-18 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 11-11 FT), seven rebounds and three assists in 36 minutes during Friday's 111-104 victory over the Pacers in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way for the Thunder in this comeback win, but Williams was a key contributor in the win with clutch buckets every time the Thunder needed him. Williams has struggled from three in the Finals, going 3-for-16 from beyond the arc, but that hasn't slowed him down, and he has scored over 20 points in the last two contests of the series. Williams should play a pivotal role on offense for the Thunder in Game 5 on Monday.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Scores team-high 21 in loss
16h agoGilgeous-Alexander finished with 21 points (7-15 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-8 FT), four rebounds and two assists across 31 minutes in Thursday's 108-91 loss against the Pacers.
Gilgeous-Alexander had his lowest point total during the NBA Finals in Game 6. His previous low in the series was 24 points. Prior to Thursday's game in Indiana, the NBA MVP averaged 32.4 points per game while shooting an impressive 47.4 percent from the field.

Thunder's Aaron Wiggins: Surprises with 14 points in victory
4d agoWiggins amassed 14 points (4-10 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one block over 22 minutes during Monday's 120-109 win over the Pacers in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
Wiggins turned in a strong performance from beyond the arc during the Game 5 win, making four shot attempts from long range. Although the Maryland product disappeared in the third quarter, he converted a key three-pointer early in the final stanza before giving way to Luguentz Dort for the remainder of the game. His point total marked his third-highest scoring result in this year's playoffs.
-
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OKC SG
Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Massive double-double in Game 5 win
4d agoGilgeous-Alexander supplied 31 points (9-21 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 13-14 FT), 10 assists, four blocks, two rebounds and two steals across 38 minutes during Monday's 120-109 win over the Pacers in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
Gilgeous-Alexander stuffed the stat sheet on both ends of the floor, recording game highs in assists and blocks to help the club take a 3-2 series lead. The 2024-25 NBA MVP and Jalen Williams combined for 71 points, with the duo scoring or assisting on 103 of the team's 120 points. Gilgeous-Alexander has scored at least 31 points in four of five games this series, averaging 32.4 points, 5.0 assists, 4.6 rebounds, 2.4 steals and 1.8 blocks across 39.2 minutes per game in the Finals. The superstar point guard and the Thunder will look to close out the series in Indiana on Thursday.

Gary Harris ORL SG
Gary Harris: Team option declined
4d agoThe Magic declined their $7.5 million team option on Harris' contract for the 2025-26 season Monday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Harris will become an unrestricted free agent after spending the past four-plus seasons with Orlando. The 30-year-old swingman saw his playing time dip during the 2024-25 campaign, finishing with averages of 3.0 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.8 three-pointers in 14.8 minutes per game across 48 regular-season appearances (three starts).

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope ORL SG
Grizzlies' Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: Headed to Memphis
5d agoThe Magic traded Caldwell-Pope, Cole Anthony, four unprotected first-round picks and one first-round pick swap to the Grizzlies on Sunday in exchange for Desmond Bane, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Caldwell-Pope signed a two-year, $44.38 million deal with the Magic last offseason, which included a team option for 2026-27, but his lone season in Orlando didn't go as planned. The veteran posted his fewest points per game (8.7) and shot 34.2 percent from deep, his lowest since 2015-16. Given his salary, Caldwell-Pope should see considerable playing time next season, but Memphis will likely stay busy this offseason in an effort to rejuvenate a stagnant franchise.

Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton: Intends to play
1d agoOn the Pat McAfee Show Thursday, ESPN's Shams Charania said Haliburton (calf) has every intention to play in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
Haliburton is currently listed as questionable, while coach Rick Carlisle has said multiple times that he will be a game-time call. Charania adds that the Pacers have a shootaround later this evening, at which point the medical staff will make a final decision -- Charania hinted that Haliburton may wear some padding on his calf.

Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton: Iffy for Game 6
2d agoHaliburton (calf) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Thunder, Tony East of WTHR Channel 13 Indianapolis reports.
Haliburton will do everything he can to be ready to play in Game 6. He did go through a light practice Wednesday, which is a promising sign. However, calf strains can be tricky injuries that can lead to a more severe lower leg injury if not properly managed. If Haliburton is ultimately ruled out, Indiana will likely turn to T.J. McConnell and Andrew Nembhard to shoulder more of the workload in the backcourt.

Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton: Will be game-time call
2d agoPacers coach Rick Carlisle said Wednesday that a decision on Haliburton's status isn't expected to be announced until Thursday afternoon or evening, Tim Reynolds of Associated Press reports.
Essentially, Haliburton will be a game-time call. He underwent an MRI on Tuesday for what is being described as a strained right calf, but the results haven't been announced. However, Haliburton was participating in Wednesday's light practice, so that's seemingly a good sign.
