Wimbledon 2025: Schedule, live updates, results, bracket, fourth-round matches, scores, where to watch

Wimbledon action has reached its second week, and half of the spots in the quarterfinals were decided during Sunday's matches at the All England Lawn & Tennis Club.

In the women's draw, No. 1 seed Aryna Sabalenka became the only woman seeded in the top five to reach the second week in London. She advanced to the quarterfinals on Sunday with a two-set win over Elise Mertens. Laura Siegemund has also been making waves as the 37-year-old continues an unexpected run.

On the men's side, five of the top 10 seeds made it to the second weekend, led by the heavy co-favorites in No. 1 seed Jannik Sinner and No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz. Sinner has yet to drop a set or even lose a service game so far in London, making easy work of his opponents through his first three matches. Alcaraz got pushed to five sets in his opening round and was challenged by No. 14 Andrey Rublev before winning in four sets Sunday as he looks to win a third consecutive Wimbledon title.

No. 6 Novak Djokovic's quest for an eighth Wimbledon crown and 25th grand slam title is off to a terrific start as the 38-year-old appears to be at the top of his game.

Wimbledon 2025 results: Taylor Fritz, Madison Keys among remaining Americans after sluggish opening rounds

Two Americans, No. 5 Taylor Fritz and No. 10 Ben Shelton, are also still alive, with Shelton in particular looking strong in his first three matches. Both are seeking to make history as the first American man to win at Wimbledon since Pete Sampras in 2000.

Fritz advanced to the quarterfinals Sunday. Shelton joined hi after Lorenzo Sonego in three sets as fourth-round action continues Monday. Sinner and Djokovic are also among those in action Monday on the men's side.

Jannik Sinner advances to the quarterfinals after Grigor Dimitrov suffered a pectoral injury

Up two sets to zero on the world No. 1, Dimitrov served and grabbed at his right pectoral muscle. He was able to tough it out for a bit longer before another powerful serve left him clutching at his chest as he sat on the grass. Sinner checked on Dimitrov, who said, "My pec," while letting out a somewhat resigned laugh.

The medical team checked on Dimitrov before taking him to the court for further checks. Moments later, an emotional Dimitrov returned to the court, shook his head and shared a handshake with Sinner.

"Honest, I don't know what to say because he's an incredible player," Sinner said after the match. "I think we all saw this today. He has been so unlucky the past couple of years. An incredible player and good friend of mine. Seeing him in this position, honestly, if there was a chance he could play the next round, he would deserve it. Mostly, I hope he has a speedy recovery. I don't take this as a win at all. This is just a very unfortunate moment to witness for all of us."

Shelton pushes into quarterfinals with impressive four-set win over Sonego

Ben Shelton's spectacular run through the Wimbledon men's draw continued on Monday as he defeated Lorenzo Sonego 3-6, 6-1, 7-6(1), 7-5 to advance to the quarterfinals in a major for the fourth time in his career. Shelton came out a bit sluggish in the first set but bounced back quickly with a decisive 6-1 second set win to level the match and assert his presence. Shelton's serve continues to be a huge weapon on the grass courts at Wimbledon, as he won 69% of his service points against Sonego and only got broken twice in the match. He'll now likely face No. 1 seed Jannik Sinner in the quarterfinals, provided Sinner beats No. 19 seed Grigor Dmitrov later this evening. Sinner has dominated his early matches and is yet to lose a set at Wimbledon, but the young American will look to pull off a shocker on Wednesday.

No. 1 seed Jannik Sinner is down two sets to No. 19 Grigor Dimitrov

If Dimitrov manages the upset, it will turn the men's backet on its head. Carlos Alcaraz is still the favorite to win, but the anticipated finals were Sinner vs. Alcaraz in a rematch of their French Open classic.

Sinner has looked off all day and is dealing with an injury to his right arm, which he had worked on during a medical timeout during the second set.

He needs to make some big moves to come back from this deficit or Dimitrov will be marching on to the quarterfinals.

Djokovic bounces back from early deficit to reach quarters

Novak Djokovic was on the ropes early in his match with Australian Alex de Minau as the seven-time Wimbledon champ found himself quickly down a set after de Minaur ripped off a 6-1 win to set an early tone. The two would trade multiple break points in the second set; both players struggled to serve on a windy day at Centre Court, with Djokovic eventually getting the crucial hold late to even the match.

Djokovic finally took the lead with a third set win, but it looked like the match would go to five sets after de Minaur jumped out to a 4-1 advantage in the fourth. However, the 24-time grand slam champion had one more push in him, winning five straight games to take the fourth set 6-4 and punch his ticket to the quarterfinals.

The 1-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 win from Djokovic was an impressive display of patience and stamina from the 38-year-old as he weathered some big attacks from de Minaur, who constantly extended rallies and asked major questions of the legend. However, Djokovic showed his class by finding the moments of brilliance when he needed them and he was able to move through his biggest test of the tournament so far.
