Oilers' Noah Philp: Heads to AHL
Philp was reassigned to AHL Bakersfield on Wednesday.
Philp has an assist in three appearances with the Oilers as well as two goals and three points in six outings with Bakersfield in 2024-25. His demotion corresponds with Connor McDavid's (ankle) anticipated return to the lineup for Wednesday's game against Vegas.

Oilers' Noah Philp: Helper in NHL debut
Philp recorded an assist and three shots on goal in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Predators.
Philp took the long road to the NHL, which included taking a year off for personal reasons in 2023-24. He didn't miss a step with the time off, and he was one of the Oilers' last roster cuts in training camp, which put him in position to earn a call-up early in the campaign. Philp also won 10 of 14 faceoffs, taking more draws than every Oiler other than Leon Draisaitl. Philp will have the length of Connor McDavid's (ankle) 2-3 week absence to make a case to stay in the NHL as a bottom-six center.

Oilers' Noah Philp: Brought up from minors
Philp was summoned from AHL Bakersfield on Tuesday.
Philp has two goals and one assist in six minor-league appearances this season. The 26-year-old forward may make his NHL debut in Thursday's game against Nashville after Connor McDavid (lower body) sustained an injury in Monday's 6-1 loss to Columbus.

Oilers' Noah Philp: Going to AHL
Philp was loaned to AHL Bakersfield on Sunday.
Philp produced 19 goals and 37 points in 70 AHL contests during the 2022-23 regular season. Due to personal reasons, he did not play any hockey last campaign. Philp signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Oilers in July to resume his career. He will probably spend most of 2024-25 in the minors.
