  • Sabres' JJ Peterka: Contributes two points in win

Peterka scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Flyers. Peterka ended the year with eight goals and nine assists over his last 16 games after returning from a lower-body injury. The 23-year-old had a total of 27 goals and 68 points, the latter mark being a personal best. He added 173 shots on net, 30 hits, 34 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 77 appearances. Peterka's offense could still grow a little more, but fantasy managers should expect him to spend the bulk of his career as a 60-to-70-point player.

  • Sabres' JJ Peterka: Point streak at five games

Peterka recorded a power-play assist and two PIM in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Lightning. Peterka has three goals and three assists during his five-game point streak. He's gotten on the scoresheet in 12 of 14 contests since March 20, racking up seven tallies and eight helpers. The winger's offense is not in doubt -- he's up to 66 points and 167 shots over 75 appearances this season, a big step up from his 50-point campaign in 2023-24. At 23 years old, he's still got a couple more years of growth in his game, so Peterka should be a popular offense-only pick in fantasy drafts next fall.

He's had just three droughts of three or more games, so he's also been consistent on offense when healthy.

He's a sniper, so the goals will go up when the shots go up.
