    Robins agreed to terms on a contract with Czech team Kladno on Wednesday, AHL Insider Tony Androckitis reports.

    Robins played in three NHL games back in 2022-23 for the Sharks, in which he garnered two hits, two shots and a minus-1 rating. Despite being a second-round draft pick, Robins' shift overseas likely marks the end of his NHL career, and he figures to play either overseas or in the minors the rest of his pro career.

    Robins was not given a qualifying offer from the Senators on Monday, according to PuckPedia.

    Robins produced seven goals and 18 points across 41 games with AHL San Jose last season, and he also chipped in one goal and six points over 15 contests with AHL Belleville after being acquired by Ottawa at the trade deadline in March. The 2020 second-round pick is free to sign with a new team Tuesday.

    Robins, Fabian Zetterlund and a fourth-round pick were acquired by Ottawa from San Jose on Friday in exchange for Noah Gregor, Zack Ostapchuk and a 2025 second-round selection, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

    Robins has seven goals and 18 points in 41 appearances with AHL San Jose in 2024-25. The 23-year-old was selected by the Sharks with the No. 56 overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft. He has no points in three career NHL outings.
