It came on the power play, and it extended his goal streak to two games and three snipes. Quinn has struggled to take a big step forward this season, but that's likely a function of the struggles the entire team has felt and not an indicator of his ability. Quinn has 17 points (eight goals, nine assists) and 64 shots in 36 games. As a rookie in 2022-23, he posted 14 goals and 23 points in 75 games.

The 23-year-old gave the Sabres a 2-0 lead with two tallies three minutes apart midway through the first period, and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen did the rest. Quinn has been running hot and cold since returning from a lower-body injury in mid-December -- over his last 11 appearances, he's got five multi-point performances but also five goose eggs. Quinn produced a secondary helper on Tage Thompson's goal in the first period, and he set up Jason Zucker's game-winning marker at 10:30 of the final frame. Quinn set up Dylan Cozens' opening goal early in the first period before adding a second helper on Zach Benson's tally in the third. While injuries limited the 22-year-old Quinn to just 27 games this year, he finished strong with seven points (four goals, three assists) in his last seven contests. He'll wrap up his sophomore campaign with nine goals and 19 points.
