  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Reaches 20-goal mark

Verhaeghe scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Rangers. Verhaeghe has three goals and two assists over his last four outings. He reached the 20-goal mark with that tally and now has 52 points, 242 shots on net, 94 hits, 46 PIM and a minus-15 rating through 80 appearances. It's been a rough regular season for Verhaeghe, at least compared to the previous two campaigns, but he has 55 points in 69 career playoff games, so he should be able to turn up the offense in the postseason.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Two points in Saturday's win

Verhaeghe scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Sabres. Both points came in the second period, as the 29-year-old got the Panthers on the board early in the frame before helping to set up a Jesse Puljujarvi tally. Verhaeghe has found the scoresheet in three straight appearances, breaking out of a slump that had seen him manage just one goal and three points in 16 games from March 1 into April, and Saturday's performance has put him over the 50-point mark for the fourth straight season.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Back in action Saturday

Verhaeghe (rest) will play Saturday against the Sabres, Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post reports. After sitting out Thursday's contest, Verhaeghe will be back in the lineup Saturday in a home matchup with Buffalo. The 29-year-old forward has 18 goals and 49 points in 78 games this season.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Not playing Thursday

Verhaeghe (rest) will not be available Thursday versus Detroit, per Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post. Verhaeghe has been slumping of late, going 13 games without a goal before scoring his 18th of the season Wednesday versus Toronto. The 29-year-old forward is likely to play Saturday versus Buffalo. Look for Jesper Boqvist to re-enter the lineup in place of Verhaeghe versus Detroit.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Snaps 13-game goal drought

Verhaeghe netted a goal in a 3-1 win over the Maple Leafs on Tuesday. Verhaeghe scored an empty-net goal at 19:13 of the third to end a 13-game goal drought and seal the 3-1 final. He sits at 49 points (18 goals, 31 assists) with 236 shots in 78 games. That's a far cry from his back-to-back 70-plus seasons over the previous two years. However, he is just one season removed from being in consideration for the 2024 Conn Smythe trophy, so Verhaeghe's regular-season production won't matter to Florida. Unfortunately, that does little to help fantasy managers who were counting on a year closer to his previous two.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Supplies helper Sunday

Verhaeghe notched an assist and five shots on goal in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Canadiens. Verhaeghe's offense has gone a bit cold again in March. He's in a nine-game goal drought and has just two assists with 28 shots on net and a minus-8 rating in that span. He's still part of the Panthers' top six, but he's had a disappointing 2024-25 with 17 goals, 47 points, 224 shots on net, 85 hits, 38 PIM and a minus-20 rating over 73 appearances.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Scores in Saturday's win

Verhaeghe scored a goal on five shots in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Sabres. Verhaeghe has gone 10 games without a multi-point effort since his Feb. 2 hat trick and assist. The 29-year-old forward has put up two goals, two assists and 31 shots on net in that 10-game span, though he was back on the top line Saturday after a two-game dip in ice time. For the season, he's produced 17 goals, 45 points, 196 shots on net, 75 hits, 36 PIM and a minus-12 rating over 64 appearances. A career-low 8.7 shooting percentage largely explains the massive drop in Verhaeghe's offense after consecutive 70-point campaigns.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Pots game-winner Thursday

Verhaeghe scored a goal and blocked three shots in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Oilers. Verhaeghe ended a five-game goal drought, during which he had two assists. Thanks to a four-point game versus the Islanders on Feb. 2, Verhaeghe had a decent month with five goals and four assists over eight contests. He's run a little streaky in 2024-25, amassing 16 goals, 44 points, 181 shots on net, 75 hits and a minus-13 rating across 60 appearances. He'll push for the 60-point mark down the stretch, but he's likely to end up with his lowest point total in three years.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Hat trick on home ice

Verhaeghe scored three goals, dished an assist and posted a plus-4 rating in Sunday's home win over the Islanders. Sunday's performance was Verhaeghe's best offensively this season, as he tallied a hat trick on just three shots. This was Verhaeghe's first hat trick of the season and the fourth of his career. The 29-year-old winger has six points over his last two games with a plus-6 rating and 12 shots on net. Overall, Verhaeghe has 15 goals, 26 assists, 41 points and 165 shots on net in 54 appearances. Playing on the top line at even strength for the Panthers, the winger is in a brilliant position to use this game as a fire starter. Verhaeghe has posted back-to-back seasons with more than 70 points. He's off that pace in 2024-25 but closing the gap quickly after a six-point weekend.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Two-point effort in win

Verhaeghe scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Saturday's 5-1 win over Chicago. The 29-year-old has had trouble building any momentum since late December. Saturday's effort was only the second time in the last 20 games that Verhaeghe has delivered multiple points, a sluggish stretch in which he's managed just three goals and 10 points. After reaching the 30-goal and 70-point plateaus in each of the last two seasons, Verhaeghe is well short of those paces with just 12 goals and 37 points in 53 appearances so far in 2024-25.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Produces helper in big win

Verhaeghe notched an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Sharks. Verhaeghe has two goals and six helpers over his last 11 contests. He's spent much of that time on the third line, and it appears he's adjusted well to his new role after faltering in a top-six spot during December. The winger is up to 11 goals, 24 assists, 148 shots on net, 69 hits, 28 PIM and a minus-16 rating over 50 appearances this season, well off the pace that has seen him top the 70-point mark in each of the last two campaigns.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Two-point effort in win

Verhaeghe scored a goal on five shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Ducks. Verhaeghe snapped a six-game goal drought in this contest. It was also his first multi-point effort since Dec. 18 versus the Wild. The 29-year-old has seven points over his last nine outings to get his offense closer to an acceptable level, but it'll be hard to sustain as long as he's seeing third-line minutes. The winger is at 11 goals, 34 points, 145 shots on net, 67 hits and a minus-17 rating across 48 appearances this season.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Pockets assist

Verhaeghe logged an assist in Tuesday's 2-1 shootout win over the Devils. Verhaeghe has four points over his last six contests. The winger has had to generate most of his production from a middle-six role recently, as the Panthers' offense has been a bit sluggish, and head coach Paul Maurice is experimenting with new combinations. Verhaeghe has been part of the problem on offense at times, racking up a rather modest 10 goals, 21 assists, 132 shots on net, 65 hits and a minus-20 rating through 45 appearances. The 29-year-old has topped the 30-goal and 70-point marks in back-to-back years but would need a massive surge in the second half to reach those thresholds in 2024-25.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Earns helper in win

Verhaeghe recorded an assist, two shots on goal, two hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 4-1 win over Utah. Verhaeghe helped out on the first of Jesper Boqvist's two goals in the third period. This was Verhaeghe's third straight game with a point (one goal, two assists), and it appears he's finally settling in on the third line. For the season, the 29-year-old winger is at 10 goals, 20 helpers, 122 shots on net, 61 hits, 28 PIM and a minus-20 rating over 42 contests. While playing lower in the lineup isn't ideal, Verhaeghe remains part of the power-play mix and should continue to be noticeable on offense.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Gets back in goal column

Verhaeghe scored a goal on three shots and added two PIM in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Avalanche. The tally ended an eight-game goal drought for Verhaeghe, who added three assists and 15 shots on net in that span. The 29-year-old forward has played on the third line recently amid the slump, though he saw 20:25 of ice time Monday, so he could be trending up again. For the season, he has 10 goals, 29 points, 120 shots on net, 59 hits, 26 PIM and a minus-22 rating over 41 appearances.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Two helpers Wednesday

Verhaeghe notched two assists, including one on the power play, in Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Wild. Verhaeghe cracked the scoresheet for the second straight game and for the fourth time over his last seven appearances, so he's trending in the right direction. He should continue to find many opportunities to remain productive due to both his top-six role and his spot on the power play. The 29-year-old has 27 points (nine goals, 18 assists) across 33 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Pots game-winner Monday

Verhaeghe scored the game-winning goal and added a power-play assist in Monday's 6-5 victory over the Oilers. With the score tied 5-5 midway through the third period, Verhaeghe flipped a wrister past a screened Stuart Skinner for his ninth goal of the season, and third GWG. Verhaeghe snapped a brief three-game point drought with the performance, but over the last 12 contests he's racked up five goals and 12 points, including seven points (two goals, five helpers) with the man advantage.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Two PP points in wild win

Verhaeghe scored a goal and added an assist, both on the power play, in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Flyers. The streaky 29-year-old is on the upswing. Verhaeghe has found the back of the net in four of the last seven games, racking up four goals and nine points over that stretch, and on the season, he's up to eight goals and 22 points across 27 contests. Almost half of that production -- three tallies and 10 points -- has come on the power play, but the downside of that success with the man advantage is that Verhaeghe is saddled with a minus-16 rating, an uncharacteristic display for a player who hasn't finished below plus-10 since joining the Panthers in 2020-21.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Scores in win

Verhaeghe deposited an even-strength goal Friday in a 6-3 win over Carolina. Verhaeghe beat Spencer Martin with a wrist shot at 11:21 of the first period, and the former compiled two PIM, three shots, two hits and a plus-1 rating in 16:04 of ice time. The 29-year-old Verhaeghe has generated three goals and three assists during his four-game point streak, and ranks fourth on the Panthers in scoring. The Ontario native is at seven goals, 12 assists and a club-worst minus-16 rating across 24 contests.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Extends point streak in win

Verhaeghe found the back of the net on his only shot and added two assists Wednesday in a 5-1 win over the Maple Leafs. Verhaeghe had a goal and an assist on the man advantage, and he added an even-strength helper on Sam Bennett's empty-net marker. Verhaeghe has points in three straight games and four of his last five. It was also the left-shot winger's second three-point effort of the season and he has three multi-point outings in 2024-25. The 29-year-old ranks fourth on the Panthers in scoring, but he surprisingly has a minus-17 rating, which is by far the worst mark among Florida's skaters. Verhaeghe has six goals and 12 assists through 23 games, and 11 of his 18 points have come at even strength.
